My only dining experience here was at a wedding rehearsal dinner recently. The restaurant itself was very nice and well-decorated. The menu we were giver included a salad, fish/chicken/pork chop, and cheesecake/apple tart. Service was quite lacking for most of the evening and we almost had to beg to get drinks. The salads were pretty non-descript and average. The entrees were definitely the stars of the evening. The fish was well-cooked and had an excellent taste. The pork chop was thick, tender, and tasty. The brick chicken was also well-seasoned and tender. The cheesecake bites with shortbread cookie and the apple tart with ice cream were both delicious desserts.Overall, the meal was quite nice for a catered dinner. My main complaint would be the lack of decent service for the evening. I would love to return here and order off the regular menu and see what Tupelo's upscale restaurant has to offer.

This place was recommended by the locals. Generous portions with reasonable prices. Pulled pork, potato salad, brisket and ribs. I had a pulled pork sandwich on my first night there, it was packed with lots of meat. Also had potato salad and fries. There was so much given I could not eat it all. This place also has homemade banana pudding which was also an excellent choice. Highly recommend this place when in the Tupelo area.

Sweet Tea & Biscuits is the epitome of southern cuisine. Our recipes are depression era home made food that features homemade casseroles, sweet treats with seven minute icing and mile high meringue.
My mom and I stopped here for lunch before heading onto Memphis Tn and so glad we did. Iâm also glad we had GPS because itâs hard to spot from the HWY. Theyâre located in the back of Joyful Creations Gifts & Antiques which we enjoyed strolling their booths after we ate.2025 McCullough Blvd Tupelo Ms.The food was delicious and just the right amount of seasoning. We had one of their specials of the day and split a sandwich. Bacon and tomato quiche and pimento cheese sandwich. The purple hull peas were amazing along with the cornbread. Of course we had sweet tea and biscuits. Great casual atmosphere with miss matched chairs and locals sitting nearby playing cards.Thank you for this review. Weâre thrilled that you enjoyed your visit. Please come see us again very soon. Thanks again,Beverly

Tupelo's only AAA rated 3 Diamond Steakhouse, at Woody's Tupelo Steakhouse we serve only Angus Choice or Prime char-grilled steaks, exotic wild game, fresh seafood, and old family recipes with a twist. Chosen one of the Top 10 Steakhouses in Mississippi,
We had dinner here with another couple before seeing a concert at Bancorp South Arena. We made reservations early because of the concert and it being Valentine's Day weekend. We were very glad we did! Our server was excellent and all of the food was delicious! If we are ever back in Tupelo, we would come back in a heartbeat.

We paid a flying visit to Johnnie's Drive-In at 908 E. Main Street, Tupelo, Mississippi. A young Elvis Presley would call in here when he attended the nearby Lawhon Elementary School for a cheeseburger. We literally had 20 minutes before our coach was due to depart from the nearby visitors centre and we'd spent so much time exploring the Elvis Presley birthplace that we had to power walk there and back - and there was no sidewalk! We dashed in and out but wished we could have stopped longer as everybody was so friendly! Locals were asking about our accent and when we said we were from northeast England one lady said: "My mom's from Berlin!" "They were on the other side!" I cheekily replied. One lady even followed us outside and made some recommendations to us for our return to Memphis, Tennessee. We ordered a Doughburger ($1.35) and two Cheese Doughburgers ($1.45 each) which were all served with mustard, pickle and onions. We had heard earlier that a doughburger had various ingredients added to the meat patty to bulk it out, such as flour, breadcrumbs or potato flakes. Johnnie's was cash only when we visited. Consequently, the patty wasn't as juicy as an 'all meat' one, but the flavours were there and were boosted by the sliced pickle, chunks of onion and lashings of mustard. We were persuaded by the manageress to try a large chocolate milkshake ($3.25), which tasted as good as she said they would. She also encouraged us to sign the Johnnie's guestbook, which we proudly did before racing off to catch our bus home. We also shared a portion of deep fried battered mushrooms with a garlic dip ($5.99) but had to eat these on the move. Johnnie's is the real deal and a must-visit place if you're ever in Tupelo.

I reviewed this restaurant on Yelp and Urban Spoon. I tried to add it to trip advisor the other day, but I didn't hear anything back, and it's not on your site. You can check it out at their Facebook page, Neon Pig Cafe.
Stopped in here for a late lunch and had to wait a few minutes for a table to open up. The setting is very casual - part meat/veggie market and burger/bbq/beer place. I had heard about the world famous, award-winning "smashburger" and wanted to give it a try.I got my sweet tea, ordered my smashburger, cole slaw, potato salad, and french fries and waited to indulge. Indulge I did! The smashburger (several meats ground together) is a 10 napkin meal. It is fresh, loaded, and messy as can be. It is also delicious. The cole slaw and potato salad were pretty average but the burger and fries were top notch.Check it out! I will be back. :)

Over night in Tupelo headed to Fayetteville and stopped at Harveyâs for dinner. The restaurant is nicely decorated and not far off the highway. Our waitress, Katelyn was very personable, attentive and helpful. We chose Harveyâs to try the fire grilled steaks and we were not disappointed. The rib eye was nicely seasoned and perfectly cooked. The prime rib was also perfectly cooked and very tender. The Cesar salad was fresh with lots of slices of Parmesan. Our only disappointment were the jalapeño grits. They were very dry and had no flavor. It was late so they may have been sitting around for awhile. We would definitely return next time we are passing that way.

This two story establishment features a full bar and an open kitchen area. It gets quite busy here and for good reason. We were seated upstairs and were treated to some excellent service. We went with the butcher picnic special, which had some chicken, sausage, and brisket - all cooked in tin foil on an open flame. Served with roasted vegetables and a bell pepper medley that was amazing. Very nice meal!

The only reason that I gave this place a third try in as many years is the proximity to the hotel that I was staying at. The same issues that I had in prior visits which seem to be easy to fix continue to persist. The folks that work there are friendly enough. The food needs help. The salad was dripping with water and completely diluted the dressing. Cheese bread was neither-(donât forget the cheese and to toast); the red grouper was not seasoned nor were the accompanying veggies. The rice was so over salted that I had to leave it behind. No more chances for me....Avlaj-I would like to apologize for the experience you had with us at Fairpark Grill. It is apparent to me we missed the mark and you did not receive the level of service nor the quality of food you expect from us. I would love the opportunity to speak with you about your visit and hopefully regain your trust in us. Please contact me at your convenience. Sincerely,Cody L ParkerGeneral Manager662-680-3201

Blue Canoe serves great food and provides excellent service. I had the pulled pork and grits platter. Wow it was amazing along with delicious greens and cornbread! Outstanding! My wife had a burger which she loved. So we definitely enjoyed the food. Our server was great. Then a live band came on to make it an outstanding evening.
