Finger Lakes Cider House is the hub of the hard cider renaissance in New York apple country. In our tasting room, here on Good Life Farm, you can savor the craft of five artisan cider makers and many inspired local food growers. You can visit the Cider Ho
We try to make it to the Cider House a few times a year. They always have something special gong on from cider events to special menus, to music. And all the food and cider are local. You can taste the love! This time we had Cheese and Charcuterie plates and a farm salad. They offer several meats and cheeses. You decide which you want to have. The farm salad was a chopped salad with cabbage, other vegetables, nuts and a yummy dressing. It was big enough to share with the plates. We had ginger beer and a switchel. Both are great non alcholic offering. Don't pass them by! They offer free parking right next to the building and a small shop where you can stock-up on their wonderful products and some local cheeses.
First and foremost, Silver Line is a local pub. People hang out here, know each other, gab about their lives and what's happening, and generally have a good time. I haven't heard live music here since the new ownership, but can see that they are set up for it.Best of all, the Tap Room has good food that won't break your bank. Check it out!

My family rents a lake house on Seneca Lake every year and we always make sure to stop here for the five-cheese grilled cheese- it is really good! They also always have a couple of decent vegetarian options. The service is sometimes a bit slow, but it's a good place to start with a glass of Americana's wine/beer and enjoy the view. The winery also has two resident dogs who sometimes make the rounds looking for handouts or crumbs and, being a dog lover, this makes me like it here even more.

This has been a favorite stop since before it was Ron Dons. We love the squeeze. A pizza sandwich. If we are driving nearby we call ahead and order. As per others, it's not fancy inside , but the food and service are worth the stop. What we found on this visit is that they now make their own potato chips. Wow, make sure you get some.

I was early for a meeting in Trumansburg, and late for lunch, and had a dog on a leash. My options seemed limited; Creekside Cafe looked interesting so I tried their door. Note that the sign listed Saturday hours till 1:00 PM; It was already 1:25 or so; the door was open. The owner was nice but said "your dog can't stay in here", which I fully understand. He handed me a menu, I chose the Cubano sandwich, paid and left, saying "l'll come back in 10 minutes to pick up".The sandwich was ready as promised, served in a take-out box, with a VERY INTERESTING looking salad accompanying, and a fork, spoon and napkins. The sandwich was The BEST Cubano I've ever had, including in Florida and NYC. The salad was among the best ever too, a mix of greens including spinach and dandelion and a number of leaves I didn't recognize, but it was good. All this for $12.96 (tax included)There were tempting desserts in the case, I did not have time to try them. I will return without the dog!

Locally owned, American cuisine, the whole family will enjoy. Daily specials and friendly atmosphere makes the Falls Restaurant a local favorite. Find traditional comfort food, made fresh and locally grown fruits and produce whenever in season. Don't miss
We go to The Falls often for simple home cooking. The menu is varied but mostly standard American fare with tasty daily specials. The homemade pies are best in the area and always feature the fruit thatâs in season. The servers are very friendly and informative. The atmosphere is rustic with lots of pictures of nearby Taughannock Falls...

Beautiful setting in the Fingerlakes Wine Country. Homemade German potato salad, Homemade pasta salad,Homemade sauerkraut, Homemade pickled eggs, local bratwurst and hotdogs, Spezi, and Apfelschorle. Local Wines and Hard Ciders and more.
A real nice place to stop for quick drinks, and a meal. I got the Garlic and Onion Brat, with a side of the potato salad. I gotta say, I was NOT disappointed! Being German myself the Bratwurst was so deliciously juicy with that nice tough-ish skinto hold it together! The potato salad was also delicious as well, homemade too.. I think, pretty sure, it tasted homemade. The employees there were very nice, and liked to chat, which is good, cause I love to chat also, lol. I was really glad I turned my car around and decided to stop here. I will certainly be checking this place out again someday.

This was our second time eating here as we were visiting relatives in the area. It was late afternoon so it wasn't busy. We were waiting on promptly and our meals were delivered after a reasonable wait. We ordered the 'vegan burger' and while not an Impossible Burger or Beyond Beef it was still quite good. There are not many options for vegan dining without driving to Ithaca but this fit the bill. As a side we ordered tater tots and the portion was a little large but very good. I would eat here again, but request a table away from the bowling lanes.

Hazelnut Kitchen is located in Trumansburg NY, the heart of the Finger Lakes Region. Since 2007, we have been using locally sourced farm ingredients in a casually elegant open kitchen dining atmosphere. Our menu changes frequently, inspired by whatâs in s
A warm welcome is always the sign of a good start. The cocktails and hot Parker House Rolls with a homemade butter, peach, tomato etc. is another sign of great things to come. Salad ingredients make for combinations you never imagined like grilled cantaloupe, roasted corn and peppers and a cheese custard. It all works.Pepper Chicken Sausage with eggplant puree is another amazing appetizer.Pastas are house made so my fantastic Fried Chicken was accompanied by delicious gnocchi, homemade slaw and pickle chips.Hubby ordered Chef's Surprise which was a perfectly cooked Duck Breast in a cherry sauce on a bed of vegetables . Son ordered the Diced Pork Belly Pasta which he raved about the entire evening. We shared a Plum Jam filled Donut with lemon curd sauce, white chocolate glaze and toasted nuts. We fought for the last morsel. Hazelnut Kitchen is a must when in the Finger Lakes Region.
