Love the owl Diner, classic staple in Lowell. They name all their omelettes after actual streets in Lowell. The Middlesex St. Omelette with kielbasa and onions and cheese is my favorite. If you are feeling especially gluttonous, get a grilled bagel with cream cheese instead of toast. Worth the up charge and the calories.

The title is not hyperbole, itâs the absolute truth. The service was literally so poor that we were left dumbfounded. Donât know how this place is still in business. We were seated promptly and when waited for over 20 minutes in a vacant restaurant for our server. When he finally showed and took out drink order it was another 20 minutes. Had to go to the bar to get drinks, spoke with the hostess twice to complain. My food order was completely wrong. Everyone was unhappy with the quality of their meals. No explanation, No Apology, just an total train wreck. Iâm still pissed off I left the guy a tip.

We are a very comfortable neighborhood pub with a scratch kitchen we serve 5 star food at 3 star prices
Have always enjoyed Callahans for a good inexpensive lunch but this lunch was just plain terrible The pie gravy tasted almost sour and was very thin. The chicken was like cubes from a can Plus side was the puff pastry which was flaky and yummy. Bottom line skip the Chicken Pie and order anything else on their menu.

Bartender was a woman with long brown curly hair who made 2 sangrias and who kept mentioning while I sat for a mere 15 minutes on my last night to have a drink before I start chemotherapy medication how much she wants to go home and how she wasnât happy and never provided a drink menu or asked about anything and rushed me to where I took maybe 2 sips and my friend drank half of hers and paid the bill and left but it would have been nice to have been served a gluten free cocktail or a server who smiled and explained what was in the drink and asked if it was good and if anything was wrong I gusss maybe next time I wonât choose a Saturday night and will try a different 99 as I love the appetizers the soups and used to remember them having the best drinks after work but this sangria was sour dark cloudy and definitely not fruity and not sure how it was made I will always love the 99 for many reasons but the Tewksbury location had provided a bad experience for me personallyHello - This is the 99 Restaurantsâ Guest Relations Department. Stopped at the Tewksbury location for the first time. We were surprised at dinner time it was not busy with eaters. We had a very nice new waitress Diana. The food was the problem. Salad was the green tops of the lettuce and not cold. Corn muffins were dry, bisquits were good. The new fried chicken was just ok, on the dry side, not fresh. The worst was the hash brown casserole which was well past itâs freshness, old dried out top, did not finish it, and I usually love it. Mashed potatoes old and lumpy warm. Green bean were just warm. Broccoli & Catfish was hot and good. It seems like the kitchen needs help to figure out when food is too old to serve, it felt like old cafeteria food. this is not the Cracker Barrel food we expect.... maybe thatâs why the place was empty at dinner time.

The Tew-Mac Tavern is a cozy Restaurant located in the rear of the Tewksbury Country Club with its marvelous post and beam architecture and sweeping views of a well manicured Golf Course surrounded by seasonal flowers, stone bridges, fountains and a beaut
I enjoyed everything except the food! My dining partners ordered the lobster mac n cheese and the burger they said it was very good. I ordered the crab cake. It was mushy and I did not like the texture. If I was in the area I would try again but order something different.

After a wrestling lesson I took my grandson Joey here for dinner. Outside was inviting, friendly staff, great menu, amazing food and homemade deserts. All the plates that passed looked real good. Big portions and tasty. Donât miss this gem in Lowell Ma. Joey had the ribs and I the pork chop

We were in the area for a wedding and came here for breakfast and were very impressed. You could tell the food was good because this there was a long line to get in. The service was wonderful and the waitress staff very colorful. We had a great time and they made us feel like family. I would love to come back here again.

âFolksy fixture with outdoor seating offering slow-smoked barbecue & southern fare, plus beer & wine.
I've eaten here at least a dozen times in the past two years, only for lunch, and always enjoyed the experience. Almost everything is good to excellent, servers are welcoming and the place generally feels cozy and comfortable.
