Had breakfast here while in Tempe for ASU move in weekend. Clean and modern. You order at the counter and then they bring it out to you. Very, very good. We had the waffles, huevos and chirizo, and the Bosc pear omelet. Everything was delicious!

From all the reviews I figured this was going to be an amazing breakfast. First, my server was great. The restaurant is cute, but a bit old and torn up. But the food.... well. :-/Ordered corned beef hash/eggs. Hash was probably canned, super salty. Eggs were flavorless.... also probably not fresh eggs individually prepared. Try US Egg up on Scottsdale Rd. Much better dining experience.

We went on a Friday night after making a reservation. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends. The hostesses and servers were friendly and let us order at our own pace. The space is very loud but we didnât have any problems having a conversation with four of us in our group. The soft pretzels with fondue cheese were excellent. I had fried chicken with mashed potatoes, cole slaw and a biscuit. It was all good, except the biscuit was a little dry. We also shared an order of monkey bread and it was wonderful, with warm apples and cold ice cream.

Normally a steak eater, and a very satisfied one, at The Keg I changed up and tried their ribs. These are advertised as braised and finished on the grill. So I wasnât expecting a BBQ or smoker type prep but did expect them to be moist, tender with a slight grill finish. I was very disappointed by the too well done exterior, the not very tender meat and the overall mediocre quality of the ribs. Service was good as always especially Joelle.Guess I will go back to the steaks that The Keg does so well.Hi Tom, thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are eager to follow up with you regarding your recent experience that fell below our normally high Keg standards. In order to do so please email us at [email protected] and include The Keg location that you visited and details of your visit so that we can follow up directly. We appreciate your time.

(7/24/19)While visiting the Tempe area we had breakfast at U.S. EGG. Our omelet was very good and big. The staff was friendly but very slow refilling coffee, in fact I had to call them over for a refill. We were sitting in a booth with wooden benches, they get very hard and uncomfortable. The wife and I had trouble talking to each other with the very loud noise.

The bruschetta boards were really good, loaded with fresh and tasty toppings on good quality bread. The service was very slow, however, with a waitress that disappeared for the longest time and had to be frequently reminded of requests. The restaurant was not that busy when we were there. We expected much better.

Hadn't been here for a couple of years, but I go to a conference at the Tempe Mission Palms each year and decided to treat myself to dinner on the last day. Good choice. We asked to be seated inside because outside in Tempe in June is just too hot for this Canadian. Service was impeccable and the food was great. I had fois gras, the Bison Meatloaf and Berry Cobbler for desert. The meatloaf was awesome as was the dessert. I found the fois gras a little undercooked but still tasty. A very nice glass of the house Malbec and a glass of port rounded out an excellent meal.Look forward to going back again next year.I loved reading this and glad to hear you enjoyed yourself south of the border. Hope to see you again during next year's conference, and thanks for the feedback on the fois gras.

This place is Instagram-worthy...the food is delicious, the drinks are perfect, and the location can't be beat - right in the heart of ASU's Tempe campus, beneath picturesque "A" Mountain. The outside patio is the best place to sit, especially before it gets too hot!

The Chuck Box is a classic Dive Bar in downtown Tempe in close proximity to the ASU campus. More accurately, a Dive Tavern since they only serve beer. This establishment meets many of the essential Dive Bar criteria: Outside Restrooms, cash only, counter service, and beer served in some type of a jar. The place is small and somewhat uncomfortable, but that is another dive bar quality. Some outside seating. People come here for the burgers and brewâ¦.and that is about it. That said the burgers are char grilled and are simply fabulous. Enough said.
