Almost didn't go in but we are so glad we did. The service from the moment we were at the menu board was fantastic. The help was very good in answering our questions and even making suggestions. The food was awesome. I would highly recommend.

We were out-&-about, I asked, Leslie said, yeah, and our date was ON!The Katfish has only gotten better, since our last review 4/18/18. Same teen after school work scene, superb catch, excellent fry skills & delish mixed vegetables. I had 5 filets and Leslie had a dozen shrimps! Read your bill - neither, Leslie or I, had dumplings on our ticket. Keep partying, those taillights ahead are us.

Their breakfast buffet is reasonably priced. It has several items, but the bacon is thick sliced and usually overcooked. Everything else is good and they have excellent service. We eat here for the breakfast buffet, because there are no other choices in Tahlequah.

Last time I ate here my steak sandwich supreme was tough, small, and grisly. I swore I would never come back. I came back today because I got the craving I have been having since my college days in Norman in the late seventies that only this sandwich can satisfy. Glad I did. Today was more like it. Steak hanging off the bun, nice and tender. Pounded slightly thin with crispy crust. Not perfect but loved it!

Went on Sat night, was quickly seated and served drinks. Orders came in at reasonable time with food that was properly prepared. Three of us had fish and chips, while to others mostly had burgers. Slightly disappointed there were no specialty sauces, had the usual ketchup and tartar sauce. Other than having no utensils when our food came out the service was fine. Would go again; all the tables were taken by the time we left, popular local restaurant walking distance from NSU

We went to pick up Leslie's Aviators, and had seen a "as seen on TV, mypillow.com, in Durant, OK at a Walgreen's & bought 1 in Tahlequah - BOOM DONE. Rib Crib was around the corner and our order was on the table after I smoked outside. I had the Great BBQ plate. Leslie just had a couple 3, bites of her potato salad. NO TOGO. Keep partying, those are our taillights ahead! TW

It's shown on the internet under the "Urbanspoon" heading.
We decided to see what the hubbub was about Fish's and couldn't get back there in our low profile 2018 Stingray! So, we gave it another attempt in the Black Diamond, (second trip.) The pork ribs were fatty/messy. I don't recommend because its $$$. Oh well, Keep Partying, we are party all the time....

This charming little greasy spoon is a fantastic diner. Situated on the historic Cherokee Square in downtown Tahlequah, they serve delicious burgers and all the usual fare for a small diner of the 1950s. The decor is remarkable and you will find yourself reliving childhood memories while enjoying your meal.

I really couldnât believe that this little place, that looks like a portable building with a car port attached turned in to a cook shack, could put out Cajun food as good as reviews had described. Well it does! I have eaten a lot of Cajun food in Louisiana and Texas and this restaurant is on par with some of the best I have had. They had several lunch specials, but I decided to really get a good sampling of their food, so I chose the Mardi gras (a cup of chicken and sausage gumbo, crawfish etouffee , a boudin ball and slaw). It was all delicious, except for the boudin ball. The boudin ball was amazing! What stood out was the smoked meat in the boudin ball, the crispy outer shell and the spicy sauce it came with. These things are unbelievable! The Chicken and sausage gumbo was loaded with chicken. There is no doubt the roux was made with bacon grease. It had that great rich smoky bacon flavor. It was excellent as was the slaw! The crawfish etouffee, was a little light on crawfish, but it was still very good! The other thing that was a little disappointing was the difficulty in finding a bottle of Louisiana hot sauce to add heat to the meal. I did find a bottle on another table, but it was almost empty. You have to have ample bottles of Louisiana hot sauce or Tabasco on the tables for folks that like Cajun food! This is most likely the best Cajun food you will find in Oklahoma! The parking is tight; the dining area is small, so itâs probably a real challenge to get in at busy times.

Sam and Ellas is a great place to eat downtown while shopping and hanging out in Norris Park. Their pizza is one of a kind and tastes like no other pizza joint! We love having them in Tahlequah and enjoy their service, food and atmosphere! This place is a MUST VISIT here in town!
