American style restaurants in the downtown. You can find steaks, burgers, chicken wings, salads, and much more.
We ordered delivery the other day. Burgers were acceptable. Nothing special, but OK. The rest was just below mediocre. Outright bad. "Fresh" salad was a bunch of stale vegetables, actually sand screeching under our teeth due to unwashed lettuce. Wings dry and tasteless, mirelit fries, ribs also dry.

We often visit this place because they can provide pizza with lactosefree mozzarella without extra charge. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. Nice and clean interior.

There is a basic trick to ordering here... Start with double patties and cheese. Without that base, it won't work. After that, Super Hamburger is a lifesaver. Always open it seems.Typically I am there between 0300 and 0500 and it never fails.Well done with your hours and there is no better place to end a big night in Szeged, even if it is a bit of a hike from downtown.

New healthy fast food restaurant with unique wraps and delicious salads in the heart of Szeged. We now offer pasta specialities as well! We use only the best ingredients, no trash food, no boring flavours.
I visited the place with friends twice so I think I am qualified to write a fair and balanced review. The wraps are nice enough though the gyros wrap was somewhat dry.The Pad Thai (I trued both the chicken and the tofu version) is smoldered with too much sour sauce which is probably some kind of tamarind sauce in which the noodles swim in. It is overpowering and not pleasant. The fresh lime is excellent but there is no spicy chili to balance the flavors. The waiting time is usually longer than usual (especially if they have other diners waiting) and the prices are also 15%-20% higher than anywhere else which is why I doubt they will survive much longer unless they get their act together.

I was very surprised about the quality of the food and the services. The burgers are probably best in town. We tried the Papa burger, 4 times, all of them where super. The meet is in normal 200g, cheese 100g, and the rest, so you need to be hungry for this. The French Fries are made in duck grease, phenomenal taste. The service was very kind and helpful, very human. The atmosphere outside is marvelous, also inside we saw, it's very trendy.Warmly recommend to visit if you are in Szeged.

The entrance to this restaurant is a bit hard to miss, I only found it through Trip Advisor. At the moment it is the #1 ranked restaurant in Szeged. So is it true? Not really!First of all the food tasted great, but not magnificient. The meat, even though it was minced, had some bad, hard parts in it. I had a "Unicorn burger" which costed about 3000 forint, so it's prices like Western Europe, definiately more expensive than the average in Hungary. The staff was friendly and helpful. Most of the menu was available in English, except the drinks. The interior is nice. There is also an outdoor area which is quite cozy, but it's not really separted from another backyard, so it feels a bit like half restaurant, half backyard. There is also no wifi access in the outdoor area.If you want a tasty burger and maybe some drinks and don't care about the price, this is a good place to go. The price is too high for the quality you get though. The standard is between cheap and middle class, but the prices are between middle class and upper class. If you want good value for money, I would not recommend this place.
