Came on a Sunday bring my coveted coupon of $5 of $25. Had incredible beerand of couse their yummy delish chicken wings and mahi mahi fish tacos. Even better this time why? My server told me that my large order of chicken wings $20.99 was half off during Sundays for the football season...who knew? Now we all know...what a great deal. Beer was ice cold, service top notched by a server (whom I nicknamed Speedy Gonzales). Had a wonderful timeand must go again especially on Sunday to catcha game on their big screen tv's. Happy chicken wing eating 50% off and I'll see you around the table!

Have been there before. Diner 70% empty at time we had dinner. Ordered grilled filet of sole dinner. Split pea soup was great. Bread basket very good. Main course went downhill. Fish not cooked enough. Corn side bad. Baked potato over cooked or something. Could not chew skin of potato. Server was very good. Food was not. We left diner at 8:30 and it was almost empty at that time. Prices are good wish food was.

Cozy Local Neighborhood Spot, With Interesting Specials And Fresh Pasta Made On Premise. Serve Beer And Wine, Fresh Great Salads And Individual Pizzas. Casual And Friendly
Nice little local restaurant. Very friendly staff. Serve beer and wine only. The chicken scarpiellobwas excellent! My husband ordered that. I ordered the whole wheat pasta with chicken and portobello mushrooms in a carmelized onion sauce. I would not recommend this dish. It was bland, and had almost no chicken in it. I donât know that I would go back here again.

This little place is what every town needs-- an idiosyncratic menu of mostly southern specialties, interesting bar and an owner on premises sometimes doubling as a waitress.BBQ meats are tender with a nice rind. The sauces are either Texas or North Carolina-- that is sweetish with a touch of spice or vinegary with some spice. Both very good.Portions are ample and prices are reasonable. Ice tea is refilled promptly and without charge--just as it is in the south. The sides are great but check with your cardiologist before embarking on a deep dive into the cheesy grits-- they are rich as can be.Lunch specials are mostly around $10 but can be a bit on the small side (the rib special is three small ribs.) Weekdays bring fabulous beignets loaded with powdered sugar, hush puppies can sometimes be a tad overdone. If you are looking for a highly personal culinary tour of the deep south, head on over to Syosset and ask for Mara. This is a place that is to be treasured and supported as it is both highly original, quirky and delicious at the same time.

A friend and I chose this restaurant while in town for one night. Neat atmosphere, the food was excellent, and what made the evening most special was the outstanding service from each person we encountered at the restaurant. Highly recommend the BLT salad and also the tuna tartare. This is a restaurant that I wish I'd have more opportunities to visit and enjoy.

First and foremost (if you have a short attention span): as a summary: this is a good place, good food, good variety, and open 24 hours and kosher- so go!! It's busy and raucous and crowded and noisy on a Sunday morning.Basically, the food is good and therefore, I recommend that you go: especially if you like kosher Jewish food. The breadth and display of the various food for purchase is quite extensive and numbing and somewhat confusing to me: where to order, where to collect the food, where and how to pay, do I pick it up from you or do you bring it to my table smushed in the back there? They have multicolored green and blue and orange and yellow bagels (see my photo)- what could be healthier than that? Isn't is said that eating a variety of colors of vegetables is healthy? Thee is at least one or two food counters and then the bakery separate section and then stuff on counters or corners all over the place. The bakery stuff looks incredibly rich: both in price and in calories. One can grab a table in the narrow congested space in the back, where one can squeeze in and then be distracted by watching the various news blather programs on the big and loud video screen: otherwise, you will need to stare into space, or worse relate to and speak to the person that is with you.It is worthwhile and recommended to go- it's better and more varied and better quality than similar places that I've visited in other locations, and what can be better: it's open 24 hours!! That's the best..

For a romantic Valentine dinner, friends acquainted us with Rare 650, which we had been to in the past for a group business dinner. Since it was the busiest night in the year, I wasn't;t expecting too much, but we were greeted with a wait at the bar (where there no seats), and seated not too beyond the reservation time at a table wonderfully out back and away from the noise. Wait staff were amazing, and Dina suggested a special sushi appetizer which was just beyond the beyond, with a lovely presentation. At the bar we saw an incredible porterhouse for 2 being served, but one of the specials was a bone in filet. We both ordered one, but when they arrived they were over-cooked and tough! Come on! Filet mignon may not be the most flavorful, but tender it should be! Not only were they tough, but the presentation? A black grizzled, rough-shaped mass. Yuck! We did send them back and asked the manager to send us the steak on the menu he would order for himself--sirloin. So they arrived and cooked to order (medium rare), but over-carbonized on the outside. We did eat them, but they certainly were not the prime aged quality advertised or expected. In any case, we did have a nice night out, but suggest to Rare 650 they change their beef supplier before they loose their repeat customers. Oh, and the smokers were placed immediately outside the front door in an enclosed area through which one exited the restaurant--not pleasant for some.

Went with friends and their family. Easy parking. Easy to find. Big restaurant. Good menu with good specials. They have a early bird dinner. Staff very good. Fresh bread and water on table within 5 minutes of sitting down. Bar order taken st that time. Had baked clams as appetizer. Was really good and tasty. Had pasta with shrimp as main course. There were 7 of us and each order a different main cours. All were good. They have great desserts. Recommend Cheese cake which was creamy and very tasty. Waiters kept checking on us and refilling water glasses. Prices are ok.

1st time here. Ordered a large Turkey hero. My complaint was it was too big. Lol. I took half home. Large selection of bottle drinks and beer. Also homemade lemonade. Wife ordered chicken cutlet hero says it was good. Large seating capacity and clean. Would definitely come again. Just wish they were open past 7pm on weekdays since I get out of work to later to pick something up for dinner.
