Stopped here while traveling through West Virginia for lunch. This is a typical KFC. The menu selections were typical and the restaurant had the normal lunchtime crowd. The service was average and the food tasted the same as the KFC back home. Overall if you want KFC food while traveling during lunchtime I would stop here again.

Stopped on way back to NY from Georgia. Used to stop annually on vacations to Florida and hadn't been in years. My Swiss mushroom burger was best fast food burger I've ever had from a chain. Always loved these places but hadn't been in years. Five in our party tried different things and all were pleased with two other burgers and my mother said the fish was great too. One sister got the onion rings and cashier said they could substitute at no premium. Try that at most other chains. Waitstaff was friendly and efficient. Only negative was the cherry coke was watered down but we found other choices, so no biggie. Just wish they had Hardees in NY. Will return.

Applebee's of Summersville is located in an easily-accessible shopping center within very close proximity of most of the motels in the area. The restaurant was very clean and our waitress was friendly, knowledgeable and very attentive. The menu offers several affordable combos (2 for $20) that are very good. My wife had the three-cheese chicken cavatappi and I had the fiesta-lime chicken. Served hot and tasty.

Overall SadnessDate of visit: Saturday, Dec 8th, 2018 (lunch)Shoneyâs is a staple along the highway in many parts of USA. They are easy to find and very convenient. The food is adequate with nothing exciting to the menu. I suggest you have a burger â because they are not too bad. Everything I had today was salty and very disappointing. The vegetables were boiled (or steamed) too much thus rendering them flavourless â and looking a bit sad. The prices are good, you cannot complain about that. The service is also very good â our waitress was very nice, friendly, and attentive. There is plenty of onsite parking.
Tuesday, April 11th at 2:15, we stopped into the Sheetz gas station in Summersville, West Virginia for gas and food. We have stopped at a Sheetz station before, but never had their food.We ordered chicken with cheese and onions on a toasted flatbread to go. Sounded yummy, and I'm sure it would have been, but back on the road again, my husband found a wound up hair through his sandwich. I did write to Sheetz. All I was asking was could they find out who was serving that day, that time, and at that location, and simply ask her to pull her hair back or wear something on her hair while she was preparing food. After 7 days, I have still not heard back from them if they had corrected the problem.

Very unfriendly reception as we entered the restaurant. Our server was not friendly, she was quite arrogant. The temperature inside the restaurant was much too cold. The steaks were overcooked. Upon our complaint manager comes and apologizes. We got new steaks which were good then. As for the check, our server charged too much for the salad. Luckily we realized that and so it was taken care of after a longer talk. So be aware to check.

West Virginia based fast food restaurant featuring biscuits and breakfast all day. Also serving lunch and dinner.
We stopped in to give it a try since we had seen a few on our trips. The biscuits are fluffy and huge and the staff were super nice. The biscuits were very good, but not perfect. I have had better. These left a film of grease in my mouth after eating. However, it was yummy going down! We also tried the cinnamon rolls, which were quite tasty. This is a much better than national fast food chain options. I expect we will be back!

Bob Evans is never my first choice to eat, but it was convenient and so we stopped there. I ordered their special of herbed chicken and after waiting about 15 minutes, the waitress came back and said they were out of it, I'd have to order something else, which I did. However, when they brought my dinner it was the herbed chicken and I was told that "they had found one order of herbed chicken". It was good, but a bit skimpy.

We stopped during the Potato Festival and was pleasantly surprised. Vegetable soup, grilled cheese, hot dog and fries, coffee, under $15. Hometown feel. If you want to get away from the chain fast foods, try it. Not that far off Route 19 in the middle of town, across from the Courthouse.
