Holland's is a downtown staple, with nice folks, good food, in a nice setting. Very friendly staff, and very tasty food. Love the classics like their fried chicken, green beans with ham, fried okra, and of course yellow cake with chocolate icing.

Baron's Pub Serves, Burgers, Steaks, Seafood, Fried Clams, Beer, Liquor, Wine and Entertainment to the Suffolk and Portsmouth, VA Area.
OK, the Baron burger is the best burger in the 757. It's legit no matter who you are. Actually the food here does not disappoint. The service is absolutely terrible. I had a server that is the typical millennial who is never wrong and is combative when approached about anything unpleasant. I had a question about my bill and she got really defensive. Her service before that was perhaps a C+ but I just wanted her to justify the items that were on my bill that were never ordered. It wasn't really worth my time to deal with her issues so I just paid the full tab. Again, the food was and is always delicious but I will most likely not go there again. I think her name was Ashlyn or something. Get the food to go if possible because it is delicious.

Expected a long wait since it is Mother's Day and while it did take almost an hour it wasn't as long as anticipated. I do miss some of the menu items available in other locations. But our server was great and everything we ordered was too.

We really enjoy this restaurant. Quirky and cute with art everywhere. We enjoy their food and service. They serve breakfast all day. My husband got the platter of 2 eggs, hashbrown casserole, toast and fruit. I got the main street omelette that has peppers, mushroom ham, onion and cheese. So good. I had fruit and wheat toast. Will go again and again. A hidden gem!

The building, room, table service, just right music and server were all terrific! Everything was well prepared and warm. Don't make the mistake I did take only the number of servings you may finish while they stay warm to hot. You may go back as often as you like and the used plates are removed quickly and clean plates are left on your table. So what I am saying choose a few foods at a time the flavors and texture are better warm to hot.

This restaurant is a 20 minute walk from our home in Harbourview, but weâd walk a lot further for their breakfasts! If you come, definitely ask for the âhome friesâ instead of hash browns; thereâs a small upcharge, but itâs worth it for the rosemary and other seasoning! Crispy outside and tender on the inside! If you like to split your breakfasts as my wife and I do regularly, you wonât be disappointed with the portions... and no extra plate charge! Also, definitely ask for Isaac! He walks that fine line that all the best restaurant service people walk between cloying friendliness on the one hand and âcold fishâ on the other! Isaac is a gem!Four thumbs up (five stars!)Thank you so much for the awesome review, QAZXCDEW - we really appreciate it!!

My wife and I decided to celebrate our 27th anniversary at the Vintage Tavern. When we arrived we were met with a friendly hostess and immediately seat at our table next to the fire place. The wait staff was friendly and asked if we were celebrating anything special, and responded by saying we were celebrating 27 years of marriage. We were offered a glass of champagne to celebrate, but since we don't drink we turned down the offer. Our meal was served hot and cooked to perfection.During our entire meal our waitress was constantly stopping by and checking on us. At the end of our dinner, we were offered complimentary ice cream in lieu of the champagne. We would like the thank the entire Vintage Tavern staff for making us feel welcome and in making our anniversary celebration special.

Twelve us dined here. We had made reservations and were quickly seated in a back room with two other 4-top tables. Our server, Paige L, was a delight. She was really top-notch dealing with 12 "demanding" individuals. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable (I do wish they had padded seats, though) Better yet, the food - all prepared just as ordered and delicious. The menu is limited, but they do have daily specials as well. Their specialty drinks and desserts are also terrific. This place will not disappoint. For those looking for quiet dining though, this might not suffice. Our group for instance was quite loud. On the other hand, you could get lucky. One individual in our group, as an apology to the couple seated near us celebrating their anniversary, paid their bill.

Fresh made donuts. Not a chain. Cute exterior of building. Open 5a-2p! Get here early before the donuts sell out!
Oh my, stopped in for the first time and they were about to close, so we got a box of assorted donuts and tried them out. A few days later we went back earlier in the day and were rewarded with a huge assortment of flavors. So GOOD, I am not sure which is my faborite, but the maple bacon is amazing. We will stop often and try different ones when we do. Delicious!Oh Great to hear you stopped and got a great selection to sample! Please make us a regular stop on your trips on RTE 17! Love to know folks enjoy our donuts!Thank you,Reeva Luecke
