The Willimantic Brewing Company/Main Street Café is a living landmark restaurant and pub brewery located in Willimantic, in the heart of rural northeastern Connecticut. Our original Main Street Café was founded in 1991, and began operations as a small deli
The food is good, very friendly staff, great atmosphere. I ordered the chicken scampi w/risotto and Bulgarian chocolate cake. The risotto had great flavor, but definitely needed to be more creamy. Was more of rice consistency than risotto. The chocolate cake was a must have. Overall great experience and would recommend.

Visited on a busy Friday evening with our 15 year old son. Delicious, interesting apps and small plates. Loved the concept of being encouraged to linger, share, experience the food. The garlic bread is absolutely the best ever, donât miss the Mac N Cheese. Knowledge attentive, friendly service, never felt rushed. Excellent value for high quality food. Our teenager is already asking when we can return. Go and do not miss the ice cream flight!

We stop here often when in the area due to the ambience of the bar area, the service, and consistency of the food. Known for its wings, it is a great family resturant.

We arrived when the restaurant was about to close. Nonetheless, they let us in for breakfast: two huge pancakes - pizza size- with scrambled eggs, potatoes and coffee, all good. We couldn't eat everything, and we brought home most of pancakes, still great for breakfast after three days.Friendly staff, good breakfasts, characteristic place.
I had a morning appointments with my Doc at UCONN Health. I decided to go 'fasting' (not having eaten) to make the blood-work more informative. I also decided to to stop in the nearby Subway and get a 12 inch veggie sub to share with my spouse - her lunch, my brunch. The service was friendly, thorough and delightful. I got the veggies I wanted on a toasted whole grain. It was perfect. I'll be going back.

I went to the True Blue for lunch around 2 one afternoon. It was a very slow day and there was no one in the restaurant, which is part of the Nathan Hale Inn. The waitress suggested that I would be more comfortable if she brought the food to my room. I looked at the menu and I ordered a burger with no fries. It arrived just as I like it and there was a generous salad on the side with an excellent balsamic dressing. The service was above and beyond as I would not have felt too comfortable sitting in that moderately large room all alone.

Family owned and operated full restaurant. Greek, Mexican & Italian dinners. Grinders, wings, pizza, calzones, burgers, wraps, paninis. Full bar. Dine-in, take out, delivery & catering.
Visited with family recently. The wait staff was slow and got drink and pizza orders wrong. Very inattentive. Felt like we were being a bother. The pizza was OK, not great as we were told.

I have been to Toast many times and I am always so satisfied. The food is excellent, the service is super, and the restaurant is very, very clean. I've tried several breakfast options from eggs overeasy to eggs Benedict and I've never been disappointed. They get busy on weekend mornings, so you may have to wait, but they have a nice little nook with several chairs. During the week, you'll be able to linger a bit at your table and chat. There are large booths as well as high-top tables, and also a small counter with stools. Lots of options. The kitchen is open, which is really neat. We really like Toast and recommend it very highly.

Went with wife and sister-in-law. Awesome food and great service. Drinks came right away and the food was hot when it got to us. We had a Chimichanga, a La Zarape and a 2 teriyaki pork chop entree. Everything was great and done perfectly. The pork chops are huge, at least an inch or more in thickness.. With the salad and rice, my wife was able to only eat 1/2 of one and I made a nice meal of the left overs for us the next night. We will definitely be back the next time we go flea marketing down that way. Just noticed that one of the questions is about Southwestern food. This is a steak house and a southwestern grill. The menu has items for both. 7+ items for vegetarians.
