My daughter & I love to eat here when we ignore healthy eating. We love the Sydney Shrooms (fried with a dipping sauce), grilled salmon, loaded baked potatoes & the chocolate thunder from down under (brownie sundae). We leave happy & satisfied, but feeling a bit guilty...

This place is a family oriented restaurant with that said do not expect it to be quiet. Itâs very loud very quickly and gets busy fast! The parking lot was full and we waited 10 minutes in line to be seated. We took this as a sure sign that place was gonna be good! The food was very good and super affordable I highly recommend coming here if your on a tight budget as the portions are large for a good price. We will be returning

This is an amazing diner. Great sized portions, great food and friendly and attentive service. The pancakes are enormous (the size of a large plate) as are the omelettes. The loaded home fries are sinfully delicious. Service was friendly and attentive - coffee and water glasses filled regularly.

We went to The Fire Place to celebrate a friend's birthday on an early Sunday evening. There were seven of us and the wait staff was very accommodating to let us sit outside. We split two large pizzas one was the mash potato and the other was a split between the chicken bacon ranch and the buffalo chicken. First of all I have to say the crust was amazing. It was so light, airy, and crisp all at the same time. Additionally all the pizza were awesome. We certainly did not pick healthy selections, but none of them tasted heavy in the slightest and all of the ingredients were very fresh and flavorful. The Fire Place also offers a decent line up of domestic and craft beers as well as wine for a pizza restaurant. Prices for alcohol were competitive and while the pizza was priced on the higher end the quality of the pies justify the bottom line. I would definitely return with friends and family to try some of their other pizza offerings.

Wood ânâ Tap in Southington is our go-to place when we want a quick meal in a nice environment. We like to eat at one of the booths in the bar. The wait staff is friendly and service is usually quick and efficient. I love their Bar Bites (sliders) my husband often has angel hair pasta. For an inexpensive quick dinner or lunch this is a good value.

Inauspiciously located, this gem of an eatery should be a âmustâ for every lover of fresh seafood in Connecticut. The impressive menu has an extensive selection of superb, locally sourced seafood dishes expertly created by talented chefs and served by efficient, attentive and pleasant waitresses. The food is further complimented by a fine selection of wines and craft beers, all attractively priced and in very pleasant surroundings. All in all this wonderful restaurant will now be my âgo toâ favourite when I have my all-to-frequent urge for good, fresh seafood !

Met friends for dinner in Southington and gathered at Flair for a fun evening!Started out with cocktails and apps. Our waiter Keith helped to make our dining experience fun!Enjoyed the veal and shrimp special! A delicious combination with large portions of veal over mashed potatoes and topped off with crispy onion rings! Great taste! To top off our dinner, Hector the chef/owner, surprised us with a combination of pecan pie and cheesecake squares Hector and his staff take pride in their restaurant and when we left everyone waved goodbye from Hector, the waiter the bartender and the hostess. Just loved the whole evening!

We stopped by there due to the good Trip advisor reviews. My husband thought the ribs were terrible. Maybe they were just having an off day (and grant it - we travel extensively for BBQ - Austin, Kansas City, etc). Much prefer other local options (Bears) or if travelling for BBQ - (Mighty Quinns in NYC/Westchester or B.T. Smokehouse in Sturbridge MA)

Out to dinner with friends. Very accommodating to my dietary needs- swapping vegetables and omitting wasabi from the salmon, which was excellent. My husband and friends had the special - short ribs over risotto that they all loved. Didnât rush us at all. Ran into friends at the bar - very friendly staff.

Anthony Jacks is my favorite restaurant! Each entree comes with a large salad, warm bread, and a bean spread. Most come with a potato and vegetable as well. I always get the filet mignon. The best part is the chocolate soufflé cake. Itâs not really a soufflé. Itâs like a cross between warm fudge and warm brownie batter - absolutely delicious!Thank you!! :)
