I rarely write a negative review, but in this case I felt the owners needed to know how I felt. I arrived on a Monday evening. The hours posted on the door indicated the restaurant closed at 8 pm. I arrived at 6:50 pm, so 1 hour and 10 minutes prior to the posted closing. I barely was in the door when a waitress informed me they were closing. Now, in order to understand you have to picture this. As the waitress is telling me this she is standing at a table with patrons and menus just taking an order. The restaurant is busy with customers inside and out. I realize every place needs a cut-off point, but it isnât like they would be empty anytime soon and our order would only have been in minutes after the one she was in the middle of taking. And, part of it was the attitude. She said it in an abrupt manner and made no nicety like âsorryâ or âtry us again another time.â

Has a great wine selection with tastings at lunch. Awesome atmosphere with a small outdoor seating area for nice days. The food is always remarkable and fresh!
I spent most of my growing up years in St Marys County and have been a fan of Lennys, and his stuffed ham, Danny took over and made the magic his own. Sadly Lennys is no more but the angels have gifted Blue Wind Gourmet with Danny's skill at at stuffed hamI requested 2 lbs via their web site and was told they were cutting at the moment and would let me know if any was available. Before the end of the day Dana, made my day and by the next day I was in Stuffed Ham heaven. Thanks for great service and superb cookin!

Evan the grandkids liked our dinner at Kingfishers! They had a gentleman playing guitar and singing without overwhelming the room with volume. Wanted to sing along with him! Food was great. Had seared ahi for appetizer and it was good and plentiful. Between the five of us we had a variety of food and all said it was very good. Grandkids loved the shrimp and fries. Just wanted to give two thumbs up to this restaurant.

The Ruddy Duck is a vibrant space that pairs artisan crafted food and beer delivered with passion
Ate here on a Saturday evening. The atmosphere was more inviting than I had imagined. However, while the crab cake sandwich was delicious, it was too expensive ($23!), the side onion rings were burned, my husbandâs pepperoni pizza was bland, and the beer (IPA) was FLAT ! Truly mediocre. Would not return.

The service was excellent. The food was delicious. My husband, daughter and I all enjoyed our food. Hubby ordered the lasagna, daughter ordered the burger and I ordered the crab dip. The drinks were very good. We would definitely dine here again. The view from the outdoor seating was nice. We will be dining here again.

The Dry Dock, is located in Solomons Island at the Zahniser's Yachting Center. Expect an intimate water view restaurant that caters to an upscale dining experience, specializing in steaks & seafood. We offer deck seating, weather permitting. Nightly speci
Had not so good experiences in the past. They seemed to depend on the waterfront location over the food or service. Was apprehensive about returning, but under new management, they've improved on all accounts. Creative menu options, well prepared. Small wine list but with good values. Note: $15 corkage option. Our server, Amanda, was outstanding. Professional, friendly, thoughtful, and engaging. She made us feel well cared for. Improvements to bar stools, lighting, outdoor tables, etc.

Beautiful Waterfront Restaurant, with great Quality Food and Drinks!
Stopped in for lunch. I ordered a fried oyster basket and my boyfriend ordered the grouper fingers. Both platters were very good. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. We loved looking out at the water while we ate. My only criticism is I think their price for beer is on the high side. I think $6.50 for a glass of Blue Moon draft is overpriced. Would definitely have lunch here again but we'll pass on the beer.

DW and I have dined at CD Cafe three time. Each time the meals have been perfect, service outstanding and dining area super clean. All at a reasonable price. Highly recommend.

This must be the best restaurant in Southern Maryland. We stopped by for a late lunch and some drinks. The cocktails (a lavender gin and tonic and a painkiller) were excellent. The food was delicious, too. We had a chicken sandwich and a chicken on flatbread type dish (Give Peas a Chance).
