Great casual place to eat and socialize with others. The food is great-best chips/salsa and margaritas in Door County. House shot: The Bernie. Ring the bell! Sugar Shack Tiki Bar on the water located behind JJ's for sunset!
First visit here, just for a mid-afternoon adult beverage. My wife ordered out Bloody Marys, "on the spicy side" and the personable bartender didn't disappoint. We took our drinks outside to enjoy the weather and the view - excellent. We'll definitely put this on our list of annual stops.

Referred here by a local, and it was so good we ate breakfast here every morning. Restaurant was busy, but not noisy. Bright and welcoming atmosphere.Every dish we tried was excellent. Great coffee, always hot. Luscious cherry topping on the waffle was warmed, real whipped cream, and they also offered real maple syrup. Even the plates were warm. Thick slices of delicious ham, eggs came exactly as ordered. Yes, the servers were busy, but they came to our table each time as soon as we sat down with menus, water and coffees. Food was alway hot when it arrived at the table, and we never had to wait long for it to come. Dishes were cleared in a timely manner, washrooms were very clean. Even though the parking lot is quite small, we still always managed to get a spot. This restaurant is outstanding!

We go there a couple of times each Summer when we visit Door County...it is truly "everyman's" place to eat. Not pretentious in anyway. Pub food...burgers, soups, wraps and the prices are very good. It is very popular with local people so it has a neighborhood feel. You can eat in-doors in the bar area or their dining area...the outside is good for people watching but the tables are small...a good time for everybody, not rowdy.

Waterfront dining. Come for the food and drinks. Stay for the sunsets. Home of the World Famous Cherry Margarita. Door County's hidden gem. A seasonal business open Memorial Day to the end of September.
What a pleasant surprise after we finally found where to park thanks to golf cart shuttle driver. A short walk from parking we were excited to find outdoor seating right next to the water. Smoked fish appetizer with Cherry Margarita-couldn't have been more perfect at this quasi margaritaville shoreside setting. Our server was very tentative, thank you Roberta! Due to the confusing parking I would give it a 4 star but the music made up for it.

Iâm sorry to say we had a bad lunchtime experience here. Service was extremely slow, and they ran out of chili when we were waiting. The whitefish chowder was cheesy (maybe this isnât out of the ordinary, but it wasnât enjoyable like the others I had without the cheese). The cheese curds we ordered as a starter were greasy and also not very good.

Now serving breakfast Saturday - Sunday 8 AM - 12 PM! With an emphasis on classic American Steakhouse cuisine, CHOP is Door County's First Choice for great steak and seafood. CHOP is a great place to eat, combining an intriguing atmosphere with excellent,
Chop does an amazing job procuring outstanding meat and seafood. We have never been disappointed. The only complaint would be the inability to cook steaks to the desired level of âdonenessâ. Ordered a medium rare rib eye the other night and got medium well. Not worth sending back because the steak quality was outstanding. But be careful and specific when ordering. And of course the appetizer bread is to die for lol.

We are a family owned and operated fresh new restaurant with, not only great wood-fired pizzas, salads, sandwiches and burgers, but also a new attitude toward giving to their community, using sustainable products and creating an affordable restaurant usin
We ate at this restaurant twice on a recent visit to Door County. The pizza was truly excellent, amongst the best we've ever had. The small size pizza was plenty to eat for the two of us. The crust was very good and the ingredients tasted fresh. Going to rate it at 5 stars, although we did have two quibbles. One, the people making the pizza didn't wear gloves. We were there close to an hour and never saw them wash their hands. Two, the metal chairs were terribly uncomfortable. They were something that one had to endure in order to enjoy the wonderful food.

Great burgers, sandwiches, salads, homemade breakfast, desserts, and local beer and wine selection. Our focus is on homemade, fresh foods utilizing Wisconsin products. Lots of vegetarian options! Jimmy and Jessica Grasse
We stopped for breakfast and it was amazing! I ordered the vegetable bowl which was comprised of scrambled eggs over hash brown potatoes. It was all topped with sautéed spinach, tomatoes and onion with a pinch of balsamic and feta cheese. My husband ordered a dish of tator tots covered with gravy and eggs to order. There were so many combinations to choose from.

Waterfront offers lots of dining options, all quite good. If you're into small plates and sharing, there are plenty of good tapas-like options to make that work. We particularly enjoyed the thai beef and a special option -- great flavors. Entrees are excellent as well; the duck agnolotti was terrific, and the lake perch was equally great. (Yes, we essentially stuffed ourselves. It was worth it.) A surprisingly large wine list, all of which was reasonably well priced, and great service to boot. And depending on when you dine and the time of year, the sunset over the bay is hard to beat (though it can be a little crowded then). This would be a gem of a restaurant in an unban area; finding it in Sister Bay was an added treat. One note -- it's easy to miss it when driving, as the signage isn't particularly conspicuous, so GPS is a good idea. In any event, we highly recommend Waterfront.

Farmstead Cheesery and Eatery. We make cheese and gelato right here at the store from our farms milk. Here you are able to sample and watch how all our handmade farmstead products are made. Artisan Sandwiches, Salads, Soups, Cheeses, Meats, Beers, Cheese
Sample and then choose goat milk cheeses like chèvre with smoked whitefish or farmhouse brick to take home! The baguette sold here is very good. The gelato is notably better than at other establishments and interestingly, is made from goat milk. This is a European-style place that is great for getting classy picnic ingredients, a meal, or desserts (baked goods in addition to gelato).
