What does creative casual cuisine mean? Exactly what it says. We"re creative, because we reject the same-old-same-old in favor of tastes that are interesting and unique. We're casual because while our food may be worth getting dressed up for, we invite yo
Nice decor and service, good selection of beers. I had the lobster roll and friend had the lobster pasta. My lobster roll was good but I was hoping for big chunks of lobster buttered lobster meat in a soft roll - instead it was like a lobster-Mayo mix with some cucumbers, like a tuna salad but instead a lobster salad- and while there were some chunks in there and tasted nice, it wasnât what I was hoping for. The lobster pasta was good per my friend. We stayed at the DoubleTree hotel across the street so it was very convenient.

It has been here forever and tends to attract an older crowd, which also means that it's relatively quiet. Service was quite good--not rushed and plenty of time to talk. The seafood dishes were very good--scallops, shrimp and combination with lobster--and all entrees come with a small salad. Chocolate mousse was rich, creamy and delicious. BE AWARE--the discount coupon is now in the Thursday Post Living Local section, not the Friday Weekend section. Great compromise for meeting with friends from Columbia or Baltimore.

Craft brewery in Silver Spring, MD with 2-level taproom, 200-seat dog-friendly beer garden, 10 rotating taps, and made-for-beer fare.
This is a craft brewery outlet, and as such, it boasts a remarkable beer selection. The guys serving the beer are also great, very engaging and enthusiastic. There's a large outside patio and an indoor sitting area. That said, outside of beer and the staff, this is a pretty average place. Nothing remarkable about the location, nor about food.

In the area after a long day, we were hungry and just wanted to sit, have a drink or two and get some food. We were very pleased with the service on a Friday evening. I thought the beer selection could have been a little more varied, as there seemed to be a lot of beers, but many similar types. My hamburger was very good, cooked properly and juicy. My wifeâs crab cake was also good, although not lump crabmeat. The side salad was huge! As well as the side of fries - which were cooked to perfection and a golden brown! Delicious!

After attending at an event at the nearby Montgomery College Theatre, we had dinner with my nephew and his wife at this restaurant. While it is very convenient for both of our families, it just doesn't come to mind since we don't pass it as often as we once did. The service was immediate and very attentive. Food was served timely, and fresh from the broiler. We all ordered fish (rockfish and flounder), and it was prepared to perfection. We didn't order any shellfish. Do not expect fancy sauces. They also have fried fish, but we didn't order any. Serving size was perfect. Salad was adequate for 2 (as expected), but the dressings are packets. Prices reflect mid-range.The decor reflects the period when first opened 70+ years ago. Limited tables are available, but ample counter space. Do not expect snazzy! Clean and comfortable.

The three of us arranged to meet her and, because the evening was shaping up to be pleasant outdoors, were able to grab a table outdoors, away from the roar inside. It made for delightful, easy conversation punctuated by occasional people-watching as the line for getting into the Fillmore around the corner snaked a full two blocks around. We split a fish taco (the best!) e Sriracha fries and a white bean hummus. All were tasty, and the portions were manageable. Our waiter was new but eager. A fine evening.

Saturday night dinner with reservations. Food was good â Brussel spouts salad, fried oysters, and deviled eggs for me. Steak and duck for my two companions. The gardens are lovely. The steak and duck dishes arrived at the table cold. Wait staff was harried and saying to customers who were waiting forever for service that the restaurant was badly understaffed. After asking three times for the check and waiting over 30 minutes for it, we waited another 30 minutes without anyone returning to take my credit card. Between the 3 of us we came up with enough cash to leave on the table for the meal so we could depart. Mrs Kâs gets a grade of D from me for restaurant management 101.

Happy hour was awesome! After going to another "fancy" restaurant nearby, wherein was ignored, I came here because I love their eggs Benedict with crab. Upon entering, the happy hour display caught my eye and so I sat at the bar. I was surprised by the bartender who immediately welcomed me, despite he was quite busy. Cloudy poured me a FULL glass of prosecco! I saw the had a variety of great happy hour food choices that were Not eggs, rather impressive seafood options like my choice of seared tuna nachos with fried wontons. This was one of many options. This place deserves a good chance for your evening dining choice! Thanks Cloudy!Thank you for the fabulous feedback. We're thrilled to hear that you had such a great time with us and found your meals so enjoyable. We are happy to hear our team was so friendly and took good care of you. There's nothing timid about our chicken... or our meatloaf... or our hand cut hickory grilled sizzling steaks, line caught Ahi tuna or cornbread baked in a skillet and fired up by fresh jalapeno and Serrano peppers. This is full flavored American cuisine,
This place is way over rated. There are so many other options near here that have outstanding food for a more reasonable price.Great place to go if you are trying to make a good impression with a high end feel /white linen, but keep food expectations lowThank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are always looking to improve and are sorry to see that we missed the mark with you this time. We hope you'll give us another chance soon. In either case, we appreciate the feedback.

Parkway Deli is a classic. I had a crab cake sandwich and was disappointed with the amount of filler it had. I expected better. On a more positive note, my friend tried an Impossible Burger and really liked it.Hi, Thanks for your feedback. We will improve on our crabcakes and cut back on the filler.
