April, 2019, I came for an early lunch. I was promptly served lemonade, Turkey Hoagie and salad. "Das Mittagessen war besonders lecker." as the Germans say in Heidelberg, The lunch was especially tasty! Extensive menu. Consistently excellent food and food service here. Auf Wiedersehen, I will be back!

This is a nice stop if your looking for a simple meal and a beer. The menu is quite large with lots of good choices. The staff is very friendly and they allow you to try samples of the tap beers. I was particularly impressed with the quad style Belgian ale. The fish tacos were also quite good.

July 27th, 2017 review of Greyhound Family Restaurant, 9846 Molly Pitcher Highway, Shippensburg, PA, Phone 717-379-0573.I stopped by the Greyhound (formerly the Treat) today for a late lunch. I had a hankering for their Pork and Kraut and two sides. Heidi graciously served decaf coffee and the meal with mashed potatoes, cole slaw and peas and carrots. $10.90. As they say in Heidelberg, Germany, âMittagessen war sehr lecker!! Lunch was very tasty! Portion was large, I got a box to go.The Greyhound also has homemade soup and Chili, appetizers, salads, a full range of sandwiches, hoagies, Italian Dishes. Entrees include Broasted Chicken, Meatloaf with gravy, Roast Beef with filling, Country Ham Steak, Delmonico Steak, Fried Seafood Platter, and Shrimp in a Basket. Best Cole Slaw in town. Frequent coffee refills.
My family was in the Bar-B-Que business back in the day in Pittsburgh, Pa when wings had three pieces . I appreciate good BBQ!Holy Smokehouse BBQ was recommended by the front desk person at my hotel. She should know right? I stepped outside the hotel door and just followed my nose. I was not disappointed.Pulled pork, pulled chicken. Ribs. Smoked just right. Great service from this family run restaurant. Great dining experience. Well worth checking out.

Dinner entrees - ham, country fried steak, and fish stuff crab. Large portions and good sides. Clean and friendly environment. Nice they are open 24 hours and breakfast all the time. Will stop again when in the area.

I grew up in Shippensburg and have been going to Diffy's to eat for many, many years. I never had a bad meal here. The food is good, and the service is good. My favorites are the Blockbuster and Jonah (with fries, of course), and the broasted chicken.

This was my first time to what has become a chain sports restaurant that has grown outside the Harrisburg area (FL, MA, NJ. etc.). It was also my first time eating in Shippensburg. The restaurant size is deceiving when you walk in. There is a small greeting station on the left with a small dining area on the right. Hidden in the back is a larger dining area and beyond that a very large bar area. They had posted an offering of 40 beers on tap and a temperature of 29 degrees which I guess does not freeze because of the alcohol content. They also boast about having 106 TVs! I did not count them, lol but there was one in the Menâs room (which had an Out of Service urinal). The Monday night I dined they had an all you can eat wing special for $14 which I could not resist. Their normal price for 10 wings is $12 which is low value considering the size of the wings which turned out to be average to smaller than average. Note they do give you fries which does ease the pain point! I ended up eating 30 so my price point was $0.47 / wing section, what a deal. The wings are served 10 the first round and in fives each order thereafter. You cannot mix sauces on an order. If you eat 16 or more wings you are on the positive side of the deal based on my value meter.I had a long conversation with their mobile training manager (Alex) who explained that they have experimented with various size wings and landed on these to assure maximum crispness, juiciness and being cooked through. Burgers are supposed to be highly regarded but not tonight since Wing Tut was in the house. What I Liked:- The AYCE deal was the bomb! The more you eat the cheaper the cost per wing section.- The Kinda Hot sauce was the best tasting and worked well with the crisp wings. There was ample residual sauce below them as well which was great.- $2 draft 12-ounce Blue Moonâs all month (August)- The fries were some of the best I have had. They were crisp when served hot and remained crisp even when they cooled down. Most fries when they cool down go limp.- They serve Heinz ketchup which further enhanced the friesWhat I Did Not Like:- While the chalkboard said that several wing sauces won awards at National Buffalo Wing Festival, the other four sauce I tried were middle of the road. Carolina Sweet and Tangy was the second best, followed by the Almost Everything (Nice heat, too much garlic), Smoked Chipotle (Not great taste, tad salty) and Hickory Smoked Honey BBQ (Heavy, wings were soggy). A flash flame grilling could solve the soggy problem.- You must ask for wet napkins however that should be a givenMy Wing Tut rating is 7.7/10 Wingyptians, landing this place at the #7 spot on the list of 29 restaurants I have had wings at in the Carlisle area since February 2019. Without the AYCE special they would have landed at #17 because of the low value point of $1.20 a wing section. My overall rating placed this restaurant at #20 of the 84 restaurants I have eaten at in the area since February 2019. While as I rule, I do not go back to a restaurant twice, I will look to try the burger at one of their other locations since it is a chain.

I love Kathy's chicken salad and paninis which are always made fresh. Good customer service. Some things are kinda pricey, but it is usually delicious goodness.

Casual full service restaurant. CJ'S offers only freshly prepared food. We offer a full bar and at take out menu.
My lovely lady and I decided to go for a ride, and have an early dinner at CJ's. We were fortunate to not only have a good dinner, but a server that truly enjoyed his job. Hopefully Brandt will be there the next time we venture into Shippensburg.
