Your typical Northwoods bar & restaurant. Dark bar brighter dining room. Burgers & Fries are great & chicken strips as well. Awesome patty melt. Pizza is just average for us. (But weâre picky about pizza) We were very happy to find Danelle behind the bar. She has always been one of our favorite server/bartenders. We were glad to find her. We will be back!
Casual and comfortable; dinning area, bar and private dining. Full menu with great burgers and homemade pizza. We have happy hour everyday from 3-7pm and all you can eat Fish Fry on Friday. See you here!
Reopens May 1 under new management! Great food and friendly service. All you can eat fish fry on Fridays and a prime rib special on Saturdays. Plus, homemade fries and pizza. There are games and outdoor seating. Great location and even better people. Love it!

New Family Restaurant in Spooner, WI. Opened on September 29th 2014. We serve breakfast all day long. Good service, Great Prices, and the Best food in town. You won't be disappointed. From our family, to yours!
food arrives barely warm, not done as asked, food had to be remicrowaved, and food tasted like it was microwaved ...true this was when the previous owners had it, but you rarely see many vehicles there so, not being tourist time, that speakes for itself.

Our unique brewpub offers 18 signature taps, craft cocktails, and an American-style menu boasting distinctive flavors of the Northwoods.
We stopped at RMB for lunch while we explored the Fall Art Meander in the Spooner area. While there were tables open, we had a 20 minute wait before we were seated. I believe the server was new as she brought one small bottle of tap water for our table of 5. Table next to us asked if they could get their drinks as they had been waiting and thought she forgot them. We order salads and one meatloaf. After 15 minutes the server told us they were backed up in the kitchen but our order was in the queue. We ordered an appetizer to fend off our hunger. Cesar salad had very little romaine lettuce and an overcooked/dry chicken breast. Roasted beet salad had canned beets that did not appear to be roasted. Saving grace was the meatloaf with corn bread but fries and not mashed potatoes. Would give the place a second chance to see if they can get the wheels in motion when they are busy.Hey there,Spencer Churchill here, Owner and General Manager of Round Man Brewing Co. Just wanted to touch base on a few things regarding your review of our business. First off, last weekend with Art Meander was AWESOME. We were absolutely packed all weekend and couldn't have asked for it any other way. With these busy weekends, we ask our guests to exercise some patience and understanding, we do our absolute best to expedite service and to be as efficient as possible but with over 800 meals sold and well over 1,000 guests that day alone, we do run into some wait times. All is in an effort to provide our staff with the best opportunity to provide you with the best product. In regards to your salads; as General Manager, one of my key roles is assuring guests enjoy their meals and their experience, provided that I would've been made aware of your unhappiness with your Caesar salad, I certainly would've replaced it immediately. Next time, simply ask to speak with myself or another member of our management team and we'll happily have it made to your liking. As for the beet salad, well... this one stings a bit, we work extremely hard to source the freshest and best quality whole beats available. We roast them whole, then peel them, then dice them, it's a process that takes a fair amount of time and leaves everything we touch stained red, but we do it with a smile as it leads to an outstanding product. With absolute confidence, I can guarantee the beets never come out of a can. Finally, I'm glad you enjoyed the meatloaf! It is one of our most popular dishes. Upon your next visit, you're welcome to request mashed potatoes instead of fries! Now that we have our wheels in motion, I hope you choose to visit us again soon! Cheers!

Nick's Family Restaurant Provides All Occasions Catering, Meeting Room, All Day Breakfast, Roasted Chicken, Real Pizza Burgers, Friday & Saturday Night Buffets And Sunday Morning Brunch Buffet To The Spooner, WI Area.
If you're looking for a good, inexpensive breakfast, go to Nick's. We were greeted by a friendly waitress and brought hot coffee almost immediately. My husband's oatmeal was a generous serving, nice and hot. My over-easy eggs were absolutely perfect. Nice runny yolks, but solid whites. I hadn't had such perfectly prepared eggs in a long time. We did return for dinner the next evening, as we were staying the weekend in Spooner. The food was still good and was served up quite quickly, but the waitress wasn't as warm as the breakfast person. I would have given 4 stars if we had only experienced dinner. The bottom line is that Nick's is a great place to eat if you're in Spooner. You can't go wrong.

When we are in the area we like to stop for breakfast. It is always good, the selections great, and the service as well. Last week we happened to stop in for their dinner menu.I had the bluegill and it was the best I've tasted in a long while. Other items on the specials board looked good also, especially the all you can eat prime rib. All specials came with a healthy portion of dessert.
Generous portions and reasonable rates in this quaint little cafe right across the street from the campground on the lake. We've been coming here for about five years when we started camping at Shell Lake. They also have a walk up ice cream stand. Many locals come here, we've even met the former Mayor. Warm, friendly atmosphere as to the charm of this cafe. The staff is friendly, courteous, and attentive. Standard American breakfast fare served on old fashioned tables with vinyl tablecloths. There is not a handicapped accessible bathroom, so beware of that if you need that accommodation.
We love to take our grandchildren here for their ice cream(we love it too). They serve a variety of 16 flavors of Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream, Backroads Coffee/Espresso, and Nathan's Famous Hot Dogs. The best ice cream ever and we love the coconut almond flavor.

Last weekend we took a little trip to Bayfield Wisconsin and had the opportunity to eat at similar restaurants in Spooner, Ashland and Bayfield Wisconsin. Peggy's Place was the best of all. The service was fantastic; my daughter wanted a single over easy egg, a pancake and some toast. No problem even though that option clearly wasn't on the menu, and they didn't gouge me on the price. The food is cheap! My friend ordered a steak and it was prepared excellently. The pancake was fluffy and wonderful. And, my eggs, bacon and hashbrowns were all like you'd expect. A great meal and a great dining experience.

We stopped when our plans changed and looked for a spot to catch some lunch. Friendly staff and generous portions. Next time though, I am trying the Bloody Mary! I saw the sign, but I didn't see one delivered until AFTER I ordered. Let's just say they are delivered with a plate for all of the toppings, including a slider! Reasonably priced and conveniently located.
