Lively atmosphere on a snowy Saturday afternoon, one of the brighter newer spots downtown. Full menu, fast service, tasty well prepared diner style breakfast and lunch with modern specials.( avocado toast, blueberry pancakes, churros with dips) Dining area could be just a tad bigger for space. Popular with the University crowd. Our second visit... back soon!

It's very convenient that you customize your sandwich, they have certain ones you can just order or you can choose steak or chicken, your cheese and then your toppings so it's exactly as you would want it. Very quick and the food was delicious! We got the fries with cheese, bacon and ranch which were also delicious! We tried it at random seeing that they sold cheesesteak and it's hard to find a good one sometimes, definitely worth a stop!

I was there for a lunch meeting with a small buffet. The arrangement of the food was attractive. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated, too. We had turkey clubs, steak wraps, what I'm guessing were homemade potato chips, hummus & veggies and really yummy brownies & cheesecake squares. There was plenty of food and everyone seemed to enjoy it. The waitress was really friendly, too. I don't get to downtown Scranton very often, but would definitely recommend for a business lunch.

On our first visit to Scranton, we were downtown and looking for something quick for lunch. Always up for a good wiener, we decided to try this place out and we liked it so much we went back the next day. Wieners are split and cooked on the griddle, and then they are "loaded" with their meat chili (with a bit of a bite to it), diced onions and brown mustard on a soft, rectangular roll. Messy and so good!! Even better with french fries with brown gravy, which you don't often see which I can't understand because it's so good. You gotta try it. This is one of those places that I wish wasn't 3 hours away because I would return often.

Understandably it is was a Saturday night, but we were extremely disappointed in the amazingly slow service. Our waiter explained that the kitchen was having trouble keeping up with the extra demand due to their new SpeakEasy next door, but we didn't see any unusual crowds. Its a shame because the food was actually pretty good - not fine dining, but better than your average pub fare. The Flatbread pizza served as a great appetizer that the 6 of us shared. Thank goodness, because it held us over as we waited another hour for our burgers to arrive. When the bill came, our waiter discounted our dinner because of the delays and apologized. So we'll give them the benefit of the doubt and consider that it may have been an off night. But I suggest you make sure you have plenty of time and are not in a hurry to go anywhere if you try Ale Mary's on a Saturday night. We had a 4 hour drive home after this, so it was especially painful.

They gave real âjewish deli â. Snd sone excellent dishes. They will accommodate special orders like noodle pudding which is wonderful but they are not kosher. Enjoyed the report here. And it is really one of the few places to secure âkosher food â food without traveling distances. Nice people and. Worth the 50 minute drive each way for me. Try the. Sliced meat And they have excellent mustard as well. Easy parking at the meters in front and easily found using Waze app.

The Backyard Ale House provides a casual laid back atmosphere. We feature one of the areas largest selections of Micro, Craft, & Import beer menus. Unique all-season outdoor dining and bar.
This is a great pub with classic atmosphere and great food. 100s of beers including dozens on tap. Great selection of burgers and hot sandwiches, well thought out tasty menu. great value and good service. I would definately recommend this as a stop if you are craving informal pub grub - well worth it

I was on my way to a 'Friday the 13th' event in New Jersey, and decided to make a 'The Office' side trip along the way. I'm not even a 'The Office' super fan (I have not seen all the episodes), but I was thrilled with this gift shop. My favourite item was the Kevin Malone fridge magnets. The atmosphere of this restaurant was 'delightfully cheesy,' just as it was portrayed on the TV show. I cannot speak to the food, as I was only there for the gift shop. While in the area, you can also visit the 'Pennsylvania Paper & Supply Company,' the original Dunder Mifflin, and pick yourself up a free poster.Dear Product of Canada, Thanks for that nice review! Coopers is glad you enjoyed your visit with us and next time your passing through Scranton stop in for some great seafood too. Remember "Ain't no party like a Scranton party cause a Scranton party don't stop" Sincerely, Paul Cooper

We stopped on a whim...The service was good...very friendly, but professional...there when needed, invisible when not. The dining room was upscale...Corking fee was a very reasonable $25.Our meals were very good...beef tenderloins were tender and delicious. My in-laws had salmon, perfectly prepared (rare), while my son had grilled chees AND a 5 napkin hamburger.Desserts were great and the coffee outstanding...Definitely reasonable: $250 for the meal (5), corking fee and tip.We plan on going for dinner soon.If you are in Scranton, worth the visit. If youâre just passing through, worth the stop.
