A favorite, affordable, comfort food lunch spot when I worked locally. Very casual and friendly atmosphere. Great food for the value. Parking can be a bit tough at busy times, so if you're going as a group, try not to go in separate cars.

Had a great time eating dinner with good friends and had lovely service at the bar. A shout out to Eric the bartender. Very personable and great knowledge of food and drinks. Food was excellent. Highly recommended. Get there early as it is busy.

Small breakfast place in downtown San Rafael. Long counter and cramped tables. Difficult conversation influenced by high-level chatter. Bacon and eggs, $11.00, over easy were very watery and uncooked. Potatoes were OK. Corn beef hash with poached eggs served with ham, $13.00. Fresh beef and nicely prepared poached eggs. Both meals were served cold.Good service. Nothing special.

We've been here several times for brunch, lunch and dinner. The food and the service I have to say is hit or miss. We've had great, attentive servers, and we've also been overcharged for something didn't have the energy to argue with a disinterested server, after overwaiting for a bill. The food is generally decent, but me thinks it pretends too much to be overly hip, and therefore expensive. The micro brews are enjoyable. The burger is always a solid choice. Salads are decent. Some of the pizzas are good, the one with the sausage and pepperone. The ribs appy look excellent, I've read they are well worth it.

My 2nd trip to Bogie's for breakfast and this time we sat outside...a lovely morning for fresh air and a tasty scramble, actually named after me:) -- Hal's Scramble -- mushroom, spinach, cheese but sans chuck (mince) since I am a pescetarian.Service is most friendly and home-fries are among the tastiest around.Bogie's is just off the freeway near the Marin County Civic Center, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.

Vin Antico, Where passion meets the plate. Eclectic Wine Bar, Artisanal cocktails
This restaurant came highly recommended to me by the 3 guests I was with, although I hadn't been. The service was professional and efficient. I loved the food I ordered, just the right amount as well and my other guests each ordered different dishes on menu and loved theirs as well. The ambiance was very nice as well. I highly recommend it.

Everyone raves about the Chinese Chicken Salad for good reason, it is the best. I recently stopped by for one of their take-out cartons stocked in the fridge and they only had the large size available (and it is large!) However, they were happy to make up a small size for me (still an ample portion) which I happily ate for dinner. The next day I was back to try the Greek salad and some roasted vegetables. All delicious. A San Anselmo treasure for sure.

We go to Theresa and Johnny's every Sunday morning without fail. It never disappoints. Although we have our favorites from the many omelet, pancake, and waffle options we sometimes spring for a special featuring the freshest seasonal fruit. Service is great. Atmosphere very homey. Lots of regulars are there week after week but there is always room for more folks.

Terrapin Crossroads is a healthy down-home all-American eatery, taproom & lounge. We provide a comfortable, family-friendly environment, that merges music with food. We pride ourselves on our fresh, unique beer selection and a delicious and approachable m
To date, I have found Terrapin Crossroads to be the best live music venue in Marin. Adding to that, it also has fabulous food in the restaurant area, with great service. The restaurant has both upstairs and downstairs dining. Go upstairs if you prefer just to eat and donât want to see the live bands, or alternately, sit downstairs and enjoy the food and see the musicians in action. If you donât want food, just hang out in the bar area, which serves a multitude of cocktails, and watch the live bands. If you want a truely great live, yet fairly intimate, music experience, you can get tickets for the âspecialâ artists and bands that perform at Terrapin. Google their site to check upcoming gigs. We recently saw the legendary Colin Hay (ex lead singer and song writer for the Aussie band Men At Work.....famous for âI live in land Down Under...â, amongst many others. I am an Aussie ex-pat living in Marin County. Seeing Colin Hay and his totally awesome and talented band in such an intimate venue, was definitely very special. Brunch, minus the music, is also a fab option. Indoor or outdoor dining. Plenty of parking onsite, with complimentary (free) valet parking service. What more could you ask for? Enjoy

I created a party for 9 friends at Sunday brunch recently. It was smooth and friendly from the get go and our server Rose was wonderful. Every order was successful and the coffee was divine. We might make this a quarterly event. The menu is varied, accommodating of all eating styles and delish. Thanks! Kate
