A little disappointed after my promising visit in June.I ordered cup of clam chowder , which was mediocre lacking flavor and Luke warm , a large Guinness which was excellent served chilled in ninety degree temp, we sat outside in a red brick patio, reminded me of New Orleans, Jazz playing in the back ground very pleasant, wait staff were very attentive and pleasant. I ordered the Ahi Tuna that I raved about in my last review â Bummerâ tuna was half the size although the fish was well prepared, the mess of sloppy greens it was served on along with accompanying sauce was poorly done to the point where I would not order again, I did mention that I preferred the previous recipe but it was dismissed with â thatâs the way we always do it, but if you request it next time we can use lettuce. Obviously the Chef has stopped tasting his own food a really danger sign in my experience. My wife ordered BBQ brisket but the waitress returned to announce weâre all out of it. She chose smoked/ fried wings and reported they were good. Overall we were disappointed . We shared a dessert NY style cheese cake, not an Overly generous portion but fair quality. The bill was a modest $38 plus tip, Guinness was fairly priced at $5 per large glass. We will try again but with caution.

The $8.50 "special" meat loaf was juicy, plentiful, and tasty. and came with creamy mashed potatoes and gravy with another side of choice. My husband enjoyed that. I opted from the grilled, not fried, shrimp which were moist and properly cooked too. The waitress had a smile on her face though it was 30 minutes to early closing on a Tuesday, which we did not realize until we were at the door. This place is popular with locals who meet friends and family for a good meal. No wonder. Fast, tasty and friendly.

Our annual visit to Lake Champlain always includes a visit to this establishment. We both had a salad and the special of the dinner Chicken Parmesan with penne. The salad was fresh and tasty. The entree was HUGE and flavorful. Dessert is always a must and our attentive and personable server, Laurie was able to bring the finishing touch to our meal home made warm rice pudding. It was delicious.

We came before the breakfast rush. The bakery case desserts looked outstanding. There was a nice menu selection but the three-egg omelets seemed to be using small eggs. The décor didnât scream âVermontâ or âMapleâ.

Nice atmosphere and good selection of beers. Liked the red ale. Waitstaff were very pleasant but disorganized and slow. One young lady seemed to be in training, but mostly spent time talking with friends at another table. Took forever to get our order and there were only two other tables to serve.

Good beers and typical pub food. Had local beef burgers. Flatbreads etc A little too much dressing on the salad, should ask for it on the side. Very friendly and efficient waitress.,

The food was tasty and well presented. The room was filled but not noisy. Wait staff attentive and prices fair. Enjoyed the downtown location and side street parking was easy to get. Will be back for date night to enjoy their dinner for 2 specials.

I have been here twice and I would recommend it. They have live music on the patio in the summer. You can also walk off the street for the music if you just want drinks - sit under the big white tent. The mixed drinks are very good, but also pricey so donât order more than 2. I love their Brussels Sprouts small bites as an app.
