On our annual fishing trip we wanted to try someplace new so I checked Trip Advisor and based on reviews we decided to try Boat Works. What a great place. Kinda dark, lots of tv's and lots of beer. Check the board for that day's drafts on special. Lots to choose from. One bartender (who was very entertaining), one waitress who took a while to warm up and two cooks. The menu was very diverse. The usual pub grub plus some different things. Hoagies, subs, pizza, burgers, wings and lots of sandwiches. I had the grilled cheese on wheat with BACON!! Which was awesome. Wife had the BLT that had at least a half pound of bacon on it. Also had the cheese and bacon fries that were very good. Great place.

Stuffed and happy after an excellent dinner at Applebee's.Delish peach iced tea quencher started us off. Pictured below is hubby's order of club sandwich and fries. Me, took advantage of 'all you can eat' riblets or chicken tenders, serve with fries and coleslaw. Since I wanted both meats, our waitress Kiara, brought me the ribs and immediately ordered the chicken tenders. I got the best of both worlds. Thank you Kiara, for taking g such good care of us.Am very satisfied and FULL!!!Great choice for dinner, for sure.

I have to say, Kavans Tavern is the best restaurant out there! Their food is amazing and their customer service canât be beat! If you havenât tried them, you really need to! I wrote them a song because they deserve it! I can't believe that I found out about a certain restaurant that I will never forget the name of... Kavans Tavern! Does the name ring a bell? That's because Kavans Tavern is like a rainbow after a storm or Friday payday to be honest. They have such great food that will have you coming back for more. There is a place in my heart for Kavans Tavern! I promise you that!

Red Robin is a family favorite. The variety of burgers are awesome. They offer special recipe burgers or you can build your own burger. I'm really simple with just bacon, cheddar cheese and mayo with lettuce. My husband switches from a plain burger to a specialty burger, it depends on how he feels. My son gets the kids pizza on garlic bread or chicken tenders. All the meals come with bottomless steak fries which are seasoned perfectly. The onion ring tower is good as well as the freckled lemonade. It's a great family resturant. The service is good. The resturant is clean. The prices are reasonable. Sign up for the email club and you'll get a special birthday coupon. Enjoy!

A 50's diner, very nice, servers trying to get your food before your mouth closes. I would say we ordered a bit small since we were not that hungry but I could have ordered more. Not their fault. but the ordinary Coney did not come stuffed. MY FAULT.

We were here for my friends birthday dinner & there were 7 of us. Not only were they able to accommodate us but did it quickly. The service was friendly & fast. The food was delicious! I also really love their biscuits & the cinnamon butter. The beef tips were amazing!!! Would definitely come here again! A bit crowded but that certainly didn't slow the service down.

German chocolate muffins? Awe inspiring.Soups? A dozen every day.The ideas here a great...But, like the Turkey Reuben I had? Average at best... the turkey tasted bland and kind of old... the cole slaw was sweet... tasted like it was NOT prepared on site... even the pickle was industrial out of the jar rubbery. Edible, yes. Remarkable? Not close. But that German chocolate muffin? Now yer talkin! And everyone liked their soup.

I have been away from Michigan and moved back. Mr. Paul's is one of the few true Detroit restaurants left on the east side.Steaks are excellent [I recommend the porterhouse] and service is still above average. Mr. Paul is on premises most of the time overseeing the food and service.
