Great eating place, much nicer inside than the outside would suggest. Great nostalgic fifties décor. Breakfast items a little limited considering this is a diner but lunch and dinner items are plentiful. Service was great, would definitely eat here again when back in the area.
This McDonald's restaurant was clean, had friendly service, and served the basic food that you would expect at a McDonald's restaurant. What surprised me about this store, though, was that it was located at a gas station.

Spotted Duck is a frozen custard shop located right on the Farm. Using duck eggs, from the farmâs own ducks, and other locally sourced ingredients, Spotted Duck crafts the most delicious frozen custard and serves it in a beautiful, relaxed atmosphere.
We did the 12 flavor tasting and we enjoyed all of them. The flavors were well thought through and executed. The texture and creaminess was perfect for me. Being able to do a flight of ice cream is something more places should do and we recommend you trying the Spotted Duck! Thanks for your comments! We love to hear about our customersâ experiences.

I'd not had liver and onions in years. This was a nightly special: calf's liver! With onions, mashed potatoes & gravy, and bacon (if you eat that). Tender and full of flavor, it was so good I mopped up the remaining gravy with a slice of bread! This place has been a staple over the years. Friday Fish Fry was my favorite. Highly recommend this place!

Ate at Ports Cafe on Rte 14 South. Very pleasing atmosphere, outstanding service and very good food well prepared. Gets very crowded after 5:30 pm but it accepts reservations. Had flank steak with scallops, fried veggies and mash potatoes. Everything was exquisite. Two people with drinks $120.

While we were visiting wineries in the region we happened upon Thirsty Owl Wine Co. We decided to have lunch in the bistro. There was lovely covered patio seating with nice views of the water. We opted for a turkey Panini and a ham and cheese Panini. They were both very tasty. I got a small salad along with my sandwich and the Riesling dressing (made on site) was so good! We tried the Cabernet Sauvignon and another red wine that was a mix of Malbec, Syrah and Cab. Franc. Both were very good. We could have stayed all afternoon - it was just so nice & relaxing.

I was in Aurora to see my daughter play volleyball at Wells College. I stayed at the EB Morgan House (which was incredible as well) and the 1833 Kitchen & Bar was an easy choice. It was an easy 5 minute walk away at the Aurora Inn. What a neat setting overlooking the Cayuga Lake. I had a great dinner starting with the Pan-Roasted Shishito Peppers and then enjoying the Diver Scallops which were superb! The following morning I came back from breakfast and truly enjoyed the Cinnamon French Toast with a side of bacon. WOW is all I can say. The service was over the top good. I even left my credit card there mistakenly after dinner and they searched to see I was staying at a sister BNB, so they sent me a text to let me know and I was able to pick it up after the volleyball match.

Stopped for lunch while on the wine trail. We had done a tasting here the day before and decided to make it lunch stop over the next couple of days and glad we did. The view form the deck of the lake was great and the limited Bistro lunch offerings good as well. I had a cheese and meat sampling plate with a flight of their good wines and my wife had the daily quiche offering. Both were very good. A nice lunch stop for sure.Hello, Thank you for your input, however, we think you might be mistaken. We do not want to give readers the idea that we have a deck that overlooks the lake. Our winery is 3/4 mile from Cayuga Lake. Please do not hesitate to come to Knapp Winery & Vineyard Restaurant the next time in the region!
