Sonny's BBQ of Rock Hill. Southern BBQ at its finest. Slow-smoking favorites like pulled pork, ribs, brisket since 1968.
Recently my wife and I received an email with a founder's day offer, and since we love the food here, we took advantage of the offer. Instead of eating in, we opted for take-out this time, although the recent remodel of the location is outstanding and the dining room experience is very good. The offer was for a $5 sliced pork sandwich with one side and a drink. As usual, we chose the green beans for our sides...they are the absolute best green beans anywhere. For dining in, enter the doors on the right. For carryout, enter the doors on the left. The carryout area was very busy with customers also taking advantage of the deal, but the server, Paige, handled the situation beautifully and efficiently. The food was outstanding, as usual. We highly recommend this place for great food and wonderful service.

Great food and service and our waitress, Angela was great! We got the salmon with loaded sweet potato and the strawberry pecan salad and salmon with creamed spinach and the strawberry pecan salad too. For dessert, we got the chocolate stampede! Well seasoned quality food and delicious as usual! We look forward to our next visit!

Gourmet Chef-Inspired Burgers and Craft Beer! We are a local-owned family-friendly restaurant with the best burgers around!!
After a nice hike at Crowderâs we built up a mean appetite and decided to take the drive to Burgers and Barley. It felt like an eternity getting there, but it was well worth the trip. The service was excellent and the servers are very friendly and attentive. The bar is nicely decorated and very clean with plenty of seating. They have a digital jukebox and a few arcade games. But the real reason we came here is because if the reputation of their burgers and they did not disappoint. They have a wide variety of burgers to include the âcreate your ownâ option. They have hand cut fries, sweet potato waffle fries, and truffle fries, all of them are delicious! We managed to save room for dessert and ordered the Banana Pudding Pie which was excellent and big enough to share. Overall we really enjoyed it and I would definitely return. Thank you so much for the review! We are glad you enjoyed your visit and we hope to see you again soon!

This is a long standing restaurant in Rock Hill that has recently moved to this location. Food and services was terrific. I got the bacon, pepper jack cheese hamburger with fried onion rings. The burger was slightly over-cooked, but had great flavor and caramelization. I like an onion ring that you can bite off without pulling the rest of the onion out. Very good selection of draft beers, including my favorite Stella.

Stopped by when I was in the area on business. Always on a quest for awesome burgers. Only 1 option: The Original Flipside Burger ... :( It was tasty, but "different" ... a little "too wet and drippy" for me. The side of Grilled Asparagus was good.

On 2 large pieces of Texas toast,it was more like a Philly cheese steak than classic French dip,but very tasty without being salty. Do NOT park in front of laundromat that shares parking lot! Iced tea was perfectly brewed &refilled constantly. Waitresses were friendly.

Voted Best Place to take a Date, and Best Patio
My husband and I both had Filet Oscar. Crab cake was okay but the filet was only fair. The beef came in several chunks, not as one piece as is typical. Some chunks were tender, some were gristly. The vegetable medley was bland - no spices whatsoever. The salad, coleslaw, bread and mashed sweet potatoes were quite good. Our server was pleasant and attentive. Each of our meals cost $31. Ouch. Hi Suzanne, we're sorry to hear that you were not more happy with your experience. We hope you will be willing to give us another chance as we'd like to prove to you our full potential!

Upscale American cuisine featuring Steaks, Seafood, Pasta, and a wide variety of Salads, Sandwiches, and Great Appetizers. Locally owned and operated with 3 locations dating back to 1992.
I loved this place. I had the impossible burger, which was great. The service was really prompt and friendly. Iâll be going back for a group lunch with my neighbor ladies, which I planned. The menu is extensive and a little on the pricey side, but you get great food.Thank you for the kind words. We look forward to having your group for lunch!!!
