We really enjoyed our meal last night. The food was excellent and the service very high. I had the oyster app and the Rockfish. Compliments to the chef. I would say the only problem was the very high 12.8% meal tax that we were charged.

My wife surprised me one afternoon, and came by to take me to lunch. As I work Downtown, the first place that came to mind was Millieâs. I have heard so much about this family owned restaurant that we couldnât pass up the opportunity to experience it.Millieâs is a small, yet charming and cozy in its own way. The afternoon we went, it was not crowded, and we were seated in a booth of our choice. The waitress was friendly and offered recommendations from the menu. Cheeseburgers for the both of us, with a more than ample side of the best home fries Iâve ever tasted.Everyone in and around Richmond needs to enjoy a meal at Millieâs at least once. Weâll be back for brunch very soon.

Breakfast here was PERFECT! We three had Benny Goodman: poached eggs with delicate smoked salmon and roe, two of the crispest potato latke pillows, silky dill hollandaise. Cannot remember enjoying breakfast more. Adorably retro vibe, great eats, lovely service. Five stars all day.

We stopped here for dinner on a business trip. Between the three of us, we had fondue appetizer (highly recommended), fried oysters (very fresh), seasonal pasta (I didnât try but looked good), and burgers (excellent). So many burgers today are more about the toppings, but this was a serious sized burger with good quality beef. And the produce is all really fresh.

Est. 2011, The Hog specializes in smoked meats, fresh seafood, made from scratch sides & desserts. Donât forget to try a fresh squeezed limeade.
Was expecting more based on reviews. The pulled pork was good- very little fat. Cole slaw and baked beats were average but the hush puppies were very good. The mustard sauce is the bomb. Biggest problem was how slow everything was- took a long time to get the food as well as getting the check/ paying the bill. No one ordered anything other than barbeque. Spent more than 2 hours at the restaurant- not unexpected at a fancier place but too long to have a barbecue dinner with no dessert. The place doesn't have many tables but they can't turn them efficiently due to how slow everything happens. If we return it will be to pick up takeout.

Quaint, friendly and delicious soul food. Start with a perfect glass of sweet tea. We had the fried chicken (crispy & juicy), catfish (perfection), collard greens (fresh and flavorful), candied yams (just right not too sweet) and MAC & CHEESE (the best). Canât wait to visit Mama again.

This place is a must eat if anywhere near Richmond. The menu is full of excellent options. My only problem was deciding what I wanted. Lots of beer and speciality drink options as well as appetizers and ample desserts. The overall decor and area that the restaurant is added to the experience. Would like to return to try other options.

Lemaire is a New American restaurant bringing a fresh, modern culinary experience to one of Virginiaâs most iconic attractions â The Jefferson Hotel, Richmond, Virginia. The menu features extraordinary Virginia grown ingredients and the Southern influence
The food was good. I had the steak burger. The server was the BEST EVER HANDS DOWN, and I've eaten a lot of places. He was personable, respectful, and I think we got a little "extra" being a group of women. He also introduced me to the most awesome gin. He took pics of us, and allowed me to take his. I cannot describe how much finer he made my experience. I have been here before, but his service shined. Impressed!

Food was just perfect as was the service and the atmosphere. Our table was ready on time.Great place for a romantic or just fun night out. Wine was reasonably priced and so was the food, given the quality.

My best advice is to go with others willing to share bites because it is impossible to order all the tempting dishes, and with others, it might be possible to sample more of these amazing treats. The cuisine is Southern to perfection. Tony was our waiter, and he is in a class by himself. We were ten at our table, and he handled all our quirky requests with aplomb. Really happy that we were able to dine here.
