We made a reservation through open table. I called earlier in the week to ask for seating in the bar area. Was told no problem. We arrived on time, gave our name twice and stood there. a few others were seated so we asked about our table, the woman asked for our name a third time. Then she said they could not find the reservation. No idea why she didn't tell me that initially. Finally , a manager came over and escorted us to a table in the bar , no apology, no menus. I asked for a burger was was told they don't offer them on saturday night. Probably our last visit.

Goldberg's is a heimishe, casual dining experience. Bagels are the star attraction, but all entrees are tasty. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or lunch, there is something on the menu sure to please everyone. You order at a window and are given a number to place on the table. A server brings you your order shortly after. It's a little noisy, and on Sundays can get fairly crowded. Still, I managed to enjoy a meal and sit with friends for more than an hour at a time on several occasions. Perfect for me and my crowd. But oh, the bagels! Can I say it again? The BAGELS! They're fabulous!!! Just walk in for a takeout order. The variety is stunning! All of that chewy bagel goodness with the tough exterior keeps me coming back.

The food was fair, I tried the new ribs they offer, I would order them again. I truly enjoyed my non-alcohol berry drink, it was a nice change from sodas. What made the experience so much better was our server Gabrilla. I will always ask for her when I visit.

Average sandwiches. Good. Nothing special. We didn't get a chance to try other items.Spicy chicken sandwich was well prepared. Cole slaw was creamy. Grits were too fine and creamy. Club sandwich was very large.Good for quick lunch.

We each got a 4 piece white meat chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and coleslaw. It was good as always, with enough left to make chicken salad the next day.

This is a quick pick when you feel like soul food, but don't feel like cooking. The catfish, ribs, and lake trout are good picks. Fried chicken is pretty good too. The cabbage, yams, potato salad and collards are also good. Prices are reasonable too.

We were in the area for college lacrosse games and were looking for some seafood. When we pulled into a shopping center we were skeptical. However we were very pleasantly surprised. Great food - the oysters and crab cakes in particular were delicious! Multiple birthday parties were going on - clearly a popular local place. We're likely to return when we are in the area again.

Business lunch for three people. Greeted quickly and no snooty looks when just ordering water for beverage. Lunches were : Shrimp and Crabmeat Tacos - three served - not packed with food - average all around. Tenderloin sandwich with caramelized onions. This person said it was delicious. French fry accompaniment. My lunch was the House salad with spicy shrimp. Small portion - amazingly average. We also tried the Tempura Lobster for 22 bucks. Three small pieces that were.... you guessed it ... spectacularly average. 107.00 with tip. Questionable value at that price point.

Dinner with friends on a Saturday night. At their suggestion, we arrive at the Artful Gourmet in time for our reservation. We are seated promptly to an already busy restaurant at 7 PM. We were greeted by our server, Robin, who displayed a thorough knowledge of all of the various menu options. Our dinner selections were served hot and full of flavor. The pasta dishes of our friends won approval quickly. My choice of the salmon Raphael was excellent in presentation and flavor. Our dinner with friends was a lovely night out with friends. The artful gourmet presentation of our dinner with friends made our evening out even more delightful.
