Great Pub food. I recommend the Cheeseburger and beer batter fries. My friend had the chicken wings which were actual chicken wings - not just segments. The drinks were great, the service tops. We stayed for the DJ and really had a good time. I will go back.

I remember Bonanza restaurants as a kid and this one brought back some good memories. The staff here were very friendly and professional and the the service was great. The food was reasonably priced and very good along with the buffet which had a nice selection....you just can't go wrong with a Bonanza, I'll definetly be back and highly recommend this place.

Sidewalk Cafe has great food at very reasonable prices. Quiet atmosphere with great service as well. I recommend going there on a Friday night during the winter months & have the seafood chowder. It is fantastic. Served with a homemade dinner roll. If you like seafood, you will enjoy it. Gauranteed.

We visited recently for a family dinner. Booth was cramped, atmosphere lively but on the dark side. Service was passable. I ordered mac and cheese with chicken - their interpretation of the dish left lots to be desired, like cheese! Four fried chicken tenders were perched on the macaroni. Lots of bacon! My fault, I should have asked. Others in our group were satisfied.

Eight of us went in for a late morning breakfast. We ordered a variety of meals. The food was good and came out in a reasonable amount of time. The service was good as was the coffee.

My friend suggested that we try Pat's to grab lunch and catch up. It was lunchtime on Saturday but there was plenty of seating for such a small place. We ordered a pitcher of beer and a large pepperoni & jalapeno pizza. The beer was cold, the pizza was delicious, and the waitress was friendly but did not hover. It was the perfect spot for us to shoot the bull and enjoy some great food.Full disclosure: I worked at Pat's Pizza in Orono for about 6 months, circa 1988, while in college. Pat Farnsworth used to make the secret pizza sauce every night down in the basement while I washed pizza pans and sauce pots at the end of my shift. I appreciated that job and always admired his dedication to making sure the sauce was made to his standard.

I was looking for a little local flavor and came in here on recommendation of a pharmacist who worked nearby. Itâs decorated in a Maine style with knotty pine walls and assorted Maine type nic-nacks. On Sunday when I was here they had a breakfast buffet which I abhor. Ordering from the menu I got a couple eggs, 2 small pancakes and some bacon. For any extra $1.00 you can have real maple syrup. Itâs hard to mess up that kind of meal and everything was as expected. Service was a little slow but I wasnât in a rush so it didnât matter too much. I didnât particularly like my table which was right next to the buffet line when they had nicer tables which I asked for up near the front of the restaurant. All in all, it was perfectly fine Not too expensive and pretty much what I was looking for.

My server, Nicole, was great. I had the french onion soup which was quite good. The Manor steak was less satisfying, it was too thin to be cooked med-rare and came without the grilled peppers mushrooms and onions that the menu said were included. The house salad was small and sad.

Cafe Sorpreso is an interesting spot. It's quite small inside, and if you're not a PI native, you won't even know it existed because it's not heavily advertised, but ask anyone local, and you'll find out quickly that this is one of the best restaurants in PI to get a great meal.Sorpreso is an upscale dining experience, and doesn't seem to be quite a family-friendly atmosphere; however, they have a lunch section which seems like a better time to bring kids since it's not always packed during this time.My only problem with Sorpreso lies with it's VERY limited menu. Each meat has one single option, for the most part. One pork dish, one beef, etc. The menu has recently changed, and the chef is constantly changing even what's on the current menu, leading servers to explain to customers that the chef is changing the recipe and "winging it", basically.Otherwise, Café Sorpreso is a great option - for upscale dining it's likely the best you'll find without traveling east or south.
