This restaurant serves some amazing different entrees. The salmon is cooked on cherry wood and is absolutely delicious. It is a dining experience where you can be comfortable in work place attire or dress up for a special evening out. The service and atmosphere are comfortable and elegant together.

Monelli's is the perfect place to take the family, meet friends or even watch the game. We serve up some delicious cusine, but really take joy in serving some amazing brews!
Walked in and greeted and seated immediately. Ashtyn was a perfect waitress and helped my wife with her food allergy issues (gluten, soy, and dairy) and our strawberry lemonade never ran dry. I had Meat lovers pizza and my wife had grilled chicken made special for her and both were great. A big thank you to Nancy for recommending Monelli's .

Made from scratch? You bet. For people who prefer quality food and excellent service when they eat out, our meals are made from scratch using fresh, wholesome ingredients. For people who dine in Kalamazoo and Portage restaurants who prefer fresh food and
After having many enjoyable meals at the cafe, the last tow visits were ruined by terrible service. On both occasions, we waited for 15-20 minutes while the servers chatted among themselves. The last time we went, the server stood chatting with guests she obviously knew very well. After 20 minutes of being totally ignored while she caught up on the latest gossip, we got up and walked out. Nothing was said as we left. We won't be returning.Sorry, that you were ignored! We do encourage our servers to have guest interaction. But there is a point where it should be left for another time. I will make sure that our servers are aware of your complaint and I hope you will try us again in the near future.

We ate at the new location on West Main. I was very impressed with the open bright interior. Even offered some counter service which was very attractive. Tables not too close and noise level was very comfortable. Our server was great and very attentive but not overly so. Food was delivered quickly. Very nice selection of breakfast options. And it appeared there was a nice variety for lunches, also. Hubby had his favorite, Huevo Rancheros and pronounced it very good. I always choose a traditional breakfast when going to a new breakfast location. Eggs over easy, bacon, hash browns and toast. Mostly good but they need to up their skill level on the potatoes. Underdone and under seasoned. Very busy at peak times.

I would not say that our meal was bad enough to complain to management, but we just chalked it up to every restaurant experience cannot be stellar. This place has a lovely atmosphere and reasonably priced drinks, but like someone else mentioned, skip the food. I had the blackened grouper for $21.95 which came with a vegetable and mashed potatoes. I asked the waiter if I could substitute a different vegetable and potato and he said sure. When we got the bill there was an additional charge of $3.95 for the other vegetable and an additional $2 for the other potato. If this was mentioned to me, I would have taken what it came with. The grouper itself was well overcooked. We also noticed that every other table was getting fresh loaves of bread and when we finally asked our waiter, he said that they were just coming out of the oven and he would bring us a fresh one. When he brought it, it was warm, but not fresh by any standard. It was dry and tasteless and had obviously been reheated. They do have nice large round tables that accomodate 8 people, which is nice for conversation.

First time here went for breakfast to meet a friend. Large improvement inside since I was last here under different ownership. New name, new decor and bright and clean. Hard time finding a place to park, place was packed. The service was good and food came out quickly considering they were so busy. However, I received the wrong omelette, but chose to keep it due to the crowd. When server came to check she half-hardheartedly offered to exchange it. Food was good and hot. Went back for lunch a few weeks later. Hardly anyone there. Service was very very slow and disinterested. Order a Cobb salad and hubby had a sandwich. We waited for 10 minutes. A Cobb is a composed salad, this was served in a large bowl with cut-up chicken on top a bed of non-impressive greens, black olives with pits and a few tomatoes and an unappetizing hard boiled egg. A bowl of house made ranch served on the side tasted like mayonnaise mixed with yogurt. Sandwich not impressive. It was like a completely different restaurant. Not sure I'll return.

Fine dining locally owned restaurant. Chef owned. Italian & American cuisine.
Wife & I had Bravo's New Year's Eve buffet on Dec. 31, 2018. It was exquisite!!!. So many tasty choices . . . salads, hot foods (including Beef Wellington), eye appetizing dessert bar, attentive wait personnel. Frankly, we really gorged ourselves because the selections were extensive and the array & quality of food just made us want to back for more. Terry and Shawn did this evening up right, as usual. Bravo is a special place for us and we talk it up with friends. When in the Kalaamazoo area, Bravo is a must dine place and your palate and tummy will thank you.

Having been to the "Kalamazoo" location (Oshtemo), we thought that we'd try the original in Portage. They are pretty much the same place. They both were built from the ground up to resemble more a Chi Chi's or a Bennigans than an actually microbrewery. They appear to be popular with families with small children.
