This is a beautiful place to have dinner and the limited menu will be delicious. The salads and fries are particularly notable, though fish tacos, cheese soup, and pulled pork fries ordered at our table were all excellent. The host and hostess and our server were kind and patient, and acknowledged that our service was slow (though we were charged full freight). But it took WAY to long to get our meals, and well into the wait time, one person was told that they ran out of their meal for the evening, so I have to give the kitchen a big thumbs down. I would still go back, but plan to camp out for the evening. Finally, they run out of seating, so make a reservation.

One of the only places in Huron County to Dine on the Harbor, we offer fish, steaks, seafood, burgers and pizza. We have a fully stocked bar, draft beer, bottle beer, liquor and wine. Been out enjoying Lake Huron fishing? Let us cook your catch. Bring in
There's nothing better than FRESH fish on a hot summer day! Early one Saturday morning, we hopped aboard the BLUEBIRD charter boat piloted by Captain Dan ...and by noon we were back into Grindstone harbor eith a mess of fish. As the rest of the family appeared ...at the dock to watch Captain Dan skillfully filet our catch, tummies began to rumble. Where should we eat?.. Captain Morgan's restaurant and bar, of course. With a gallon size freezer bag of fish, chunked and ready to fry, we entered this establishment. Our waitress asked for ther bag and how we wanted it cooked. For $9.99 per person (French fries and coleslaw are included) we devoured those tasty morsels!.. nice atmosphere and well stocked refreshments. Great staff and not too busy.Glad you enjoyed your visit to Grindstone. Thanks for the great review!

Very friendly atmosphere and . Family orientated
We were in town for my son's wedding, and we had the rehearsal dinner here. The staff was very friendly, absolutely wonderful and kept the food fully supplied. They had a team that were completely dedicated to us. We had quite a few people, so the place was a little small, but it worked out great. The pizza was really good. I also highly recommend the White Chicken Chilly... YUMMM!!!

The Garfield Inn is a B&B with a bar and restaurant on the main floor. The building is beautiful, with historic wood trim and period furniture in the parlor. Unfortunately, the menu is mostly bar food and the meal we had was disappointing.

Friendly service in a fun, casual outdoor seating area. They offer a few vegetarian and gluten free options alongside staples such as burgers and fish tacos. Food takes awhile, so order a drink and enjoy the view of the kayaks heading out into the lake.

Ordered a medium pizza with 4 items...most of the onions were on one piece. One slice included only one pepperoni and no other toppings.Counted less than a dozen pieces of black olive... Dry puffy dough...not so good. Probably won't go for pizza again.

Finally open June 2019. We had a BLT and Sliders. Chips no fries with either, extra. Chicken Noodle soup was mediocre, funny noodles. Service was ok. NO CREDIT CARDS Not as good as before fire

Breakfast is served all day, and the food is made fresh to order. Home made breads, potatoes, sausages, burgers, chili and so much more. There is a little bit of something for everyone, and Carol always has something new on special.
Stop by for delicious breakfast in this little cafe in quaint Port Austin. Good menu selection, hot food, prepared well with quality meat and ingredients. Awesome service, family owned and operated. Always draws in a good crowd and is super close to beautiful Lake Huron. Wonderful place to start your day or drop by for lunch!

The Bank 1884 Food & Spirits has been serving local residents and Port Austin area tourists alike with fine foods and service since 1984. Our staff concentrates on making every guest's dining experience one to be remembered. We are a state and national hi
Spent the weekend in Port Austin and had dinner at The Bank and really enjoyed it. It is a little more expensive then your typical place in town, but if you are celebrating something or just want a nicer dinner - this is a great place. It use to be an old bank, so it has a cool history and vibe. Food was all really good - we ordered the filet and the shrimp scampi at our table. The butter that comes with the bread - delish! The cocktails we ordered were not great though, so if I make it back, I would just save the money and get a pop.

My fiancé and I came here after seeing really good reviews online. We arrived about 5:30 and they told us they were full until about 8:30, which was no big deal, we just reserved a table for 8:30 and then came back. They sat us right away when we came back and we ordered our meals, waitstaff was very friendly. We ordered the Beer Battered Artichoke Hearts for an appetizer and they were really really good. I ordered the Hungarian Meatballs and my fiancé ordered the Mushroom Chicken. Both of us really enjoyed our meals. The restaurant itself is really cute, itâs an old farm house. And they had live music playing. I would definitely come back.
