This place has some surprisingly great food! I was figuring about on par with every other chain, but this is a step above. The nachos are awesome! They use beef not chili and melt shredded cheese on the top in the oven. The salsa was just ok, but my wife likes the sour cream due to some kind of chipotle mixed in. The fajitas are really good! The steak and chicken were perfectly cooked and seasoned. We were to full to even try the shrimp. We got a burger also which I would say was average. The service could really use some work. Very slow and inattentive. Wasnât a big deal for us, but there were quite a few requests that were forgotten such as toppings, drink refills and sauces. Nothing that would keep us from going again, it was still really good.Thank you for acknowledging the efforts of the staff to rise above the average in most cases. I am sorry you found my service to be slow and not attentive. I will consult with the management and take appropriate corrective action. Thanks for your inputBob Smith owner

We had lunch here and the service was great! The food was exactly what I ordered prepared how I ordered. I was not aware this was a chain until later. It did not have the feel of a chain restaurant. it was more personal. If we are back in Plattsburgh we will definitely come back. If we see another down the road I can only hope they have the same level of service as this one!

Thank you once again Trip Adviser reviewers for pointing us in the right direction. Valcour Brewery is a yummy place to stop for a beer and a burger. Behold, the Wilbur. A burger with pulled pork, onion rings, and cheese curd. Total yumminess. Combine this with a perfect pint of your favorite beer and great service and what more can you ask for?

My husband and I went went to Lattityde 44 with two other couples and we enjoyed our meal tremendously. My friend had the buffalo cheeseburger and insists it is the best that you can get in Plattsburgh. My husband and I both ordered the salmon and as always, we enjoyed the flavor but it was uncooked just a bit for our tastes. When we asked our waitress about it, she suggested that we ask to have the salmon âmedium,â next time. I had never heard of ordering salmon this way, but we will be sure to do so in the future. The service and atmosphere can not be beat.

The Butcher Block restaurant in Plattsburgh, NY is family owned and specializes in steak and seafood, but offers a wide variety of delicious options.
This is an informal type place with an extensive menu, competent waitstaff and lots to eat. Skip breakfast and lunch before going here for dinner. Thereâs a well stocked salad bar, a soup tureen, good drink selection and huge, well prepared entrees. We were too full to sample the deserts. High on the list of places to go when in the area.

We had a department Holiday party before Christmas and the decision was made to get it catered by this establishment. On the nose! I can't comment on eating in but the office delivery of the food was awesome as far as my lunch was concerned. I got the Asian Tuna Salad which was sesame crusted tuna, seared rare, mixed greens, spicy wasabi peas, mandarins, almonds and sesame-ginger vinaigrette for 15.99. It was awesome and gluten free if you NEED that requirement. Apparently MOST of the Signature Salads here are gluten Free SO that's a selling point. Someone got the Warm Salmon Salad which ALSO went over well. Some got a soup and a sandwich and I heard ZERO complaints. I would definitely go and have a sit-down lunch or even dinner for that matter based on the offerings.

Went to Uno yesterday during a baseball tournament. The service was quick and excellent. The food was too. For some strange reason, the customer still seems to count here! Special thanks to Sean, but the entire team was A1.

Legendary Food, Legendary Service
Let`s talk service...went at 5PM went right in. Jennifer the waitress was great until the bill Ordered right away. Bread was with us when we sat...really good. Warm and whipped cinnamon butterGF had the medallions and I had steak & shrimp. Food was very tasty and enough. Although I had a pop and GF have a flavoured lemonade which she enjoyed. No room for dessert, so no thoughts. Now a weird part. Bill was $45.00 and I put $60 on the table. Jennifer asked me about change and I said yes please. She then scooped it up and said have a great evening. That is an OVER tip, but I was too surprized to say anything and left.Watch out of that 1...and that is the reason for a 3 not 4 star.Would go back, but cautiously.

So in a town with 20,000 I was not expecting much from a road side Restaurant. However, we did take a little detour to find it as it had come recommended. There was an Harvester type atmosphere (UK residents will understand). We were made to feel very welcome. All three of us started with escargot which is one of our favourites. We have had some pretty bad ones elsewhere but the chef definitely knew how to cook it in a tender way and it was as good as any I have had in Paris or Savoire. My son was pleasantly surprised by a burger that was cooked rare as requested and my linguini was superb. I can be quite cruel with my reviews and was ready to jump on this one after an experience at the Canada USA border but the place de-stressed me. So an unusual five star for me from a restaurant off the interstate 89.
