Visited on a Saturday evening about 6:30 pm. Party of 8. Charbono's décor is a very nice, comfortable Tuscan style restaurant. Our server was very friendly, yet very professional. The restaurant was completely full which caused service to be slow. Our server tried very hard to keep things moving for his tables, but I think there were issues in the kitchen. Since we were not in a big hurry to go somewhere after dinner, we did not mind the wait. When we did get our food, is was well worth the wait. I had the pork chop dinner which was very good. The wife had the Filet Migon. It was outstanding. Very good flavor and fork tender. Others had their smoked salmon, which they all said was great. All in all a very good dining experience.

Wife and I visited after spending an afternoon with family. Itâs been sometime since we were here and wanted to have a good burger. I ordered the Cowboy Tavern Burger and my wife had a bacon cheeseburger. Both burgers were great. We had onion straws that were a bit greasy but also some fries that were not and they both tasted good. Just a little too much grease on the straws. Taylor was our server and was very pleasant with a quick wit that made me chuckle a couple times. Good visit.

"Bru" is an ode to two of our favorite things, Delicious burgers and cold beer. We are a full service family restaurant with an outdoor patio that allows animals.
Having heard for its variety and quality of burgers, we visited this restaurant to try their specialty that suits everyone. They have options of gluten-free veggie and beef burgers with the choice of eating inside or outside. With its gourmet chef burgers, sandwiches, salads, and shareable apps, there's something for their customers. The staff was friendly, atmosphere good and the food okay. I haven't really been disappointed going here but never been impressed either. Some features available are television, free Wi-Fi, free parking, takeout, reservations, highchair and wheelchair accessible. They accept credit cards. We placed an order for Bru Fries /Chili Cheese Fries, Bru Board, Veggie Burger, Garlic-Three Cheese Burger, Ahi Tuna Burger. The combination of the giant crispy onion ring, with beef bacon, melted cheddar, and barbecue sauce caused a burst of flavors in our mouth. To sum up, it was a new experience away from the traditional dining.

Oasis Diner is an original 1954 Mountain View Diner from Signac, New Jersey, recently relocated, restored and reopened in Plainfield, Indiana on the Historic National Road.
Plainfield is about 15 miles west of Indianapolis. The Oasis Diner is a little west city center on US 40 and worth the drive. Our first visit was an impromptu lunch decision for something different and were we ever surprised and delighted. We decided to split the fried tenderloin sandwich because I was not very hungry and my experience with fried tenderloin is a flat and tasteless piece of fried and battered piece of cardboard. Not here! Hand cut tenderloin cutlet pounded to about 3/4 of an inch thick then battered and fried to order. This sandwich is huge, thick, juicy and tasty. Something my coworker and I are eager to to have again.Worth every minute of the drive.

We got there around 8:30 on a Saturday. Parking lot looked full but plenty of seating in restaurant. Waitress friendly and attentive. Biscuits and gravy were good, not the best, but better than a lot of places. Bacon and pancakes delicious. Pancakes a little thicker than a lot of places but great. A lot of fruit/toppings you can add to pancakes, french toast or waffles. Quite a lot of breakfast options. Would definitely try again. Prices were great.

Stumbled into this place out of convenience. Initially concerned because it was not appropriately staffed. One overworked waitress who had been there for 15 hours! Other diners were incredibly rude to her, but she worked her tail off and had a pleasant attitude through a tough situation. Nice variety on menu, very tasty burger. Would definitely go back and hope they got the waitress some help!

We were staying in the area for a volleyball tournament and decided to go to the Black Swan Brewpub mainly because we could walk from our hotel. There were 8 of us and we didnât have a reservation but were able to get in and get seated right away. The girls ordered the giant pretzel as an appetizer and it is by far the largest pretzel we have ever seen! And it was soft and warm! Plenty for the entire table to share. Some decent beer choices and also other beverages if you donât want beer. Someone in our group ordered a Moscow mule but it doesnât come in the cooper mule cup so if that is important to you, I wood suggest ordering something else. The food all came out very quickly. Someone in our group orders a burger well done and it was basically burnt. The burger that was ordered rare, seemed to be good. I had the fish and chips and that was nice cod and the batter was good but no malt available. The fries were also pretty good. Others had the Reuben sandwich which was very hearty and the shepherds pie which definitely wasnât the traditional English shepherds pie and more like a stew. Service was friendly and efficient but maybe a hit too much as the waitress didnât ask us if we wanted more drinks when we were done eating. She just asked if we wanted the check. If there werenât any other choices, we might go back but wouldnât plan on it.

Half Restaurant. Half Store. All Country
My daughter and I had dinner the night before a flight out of Indy. I ordered the roast beef, which was not impressive. Not bad, but not anything special. The cheese/hash brown casserole was good as always. My daughter had her usual crispy chicken salad, which she loves. Service was good and the refills came fast, which is big with me since I always have 2 glasses of whatever I'm drinking. The bill was inexpensive overall. I would surely eat there again, just not the roast beef dinner.

Service is excellent. They have an extensive menu from sandwiches to steaks. We dined for Sunday afternoon lunch. Seating is available inside and outside. Ambience is inviting. Prices are moderate/affordable. The four of us ordered something different from salads to sandwiches and there were no complaints. We would definitely dine there in the future when passing through town.

This is a good place to find a good variety of food. It's a little expensive for my taste, but everything from pasta to grilled items are tasty. Comfortable, quiet enough to have a conversation. Nothing from the menu really stood out to me though, which made it feel a little generic.
