Reviews on American food in Pinellas Park, Florida, United States. Pinellas Park is a city located in central Pinellas County, Florida, United States. The population was 49,079 at the 2010 census. Originally home to northern transplants and vacationers, the hundred year old city has grown into the fourth largest city in Pinellas County, the most densely-populated county in Florida. The city and surrounding areas are almost completely urbanized. Pinellas Park contains a substantial portion of the "Gateway" area of the county, targeted for future infrastructure, residential, and commercial development as it sits roughly in the middle of the Tampa Bay area's over two million people. Though technically land-locked, its borders lie only a few miles from Tampa Bay to the east, and Boca Ciega Bay and the Gulf of Mexico to the west. The city is known for its popular equestrian facilities and events, and many residents also participate in fishing and water activities in nearby venues. On Park Boulevard, the city's oldest street and primary thoroughfare, one can find anything from produce stalls and flea markets to high-end luxury vehicles.

Stopped by here recently for dinner while visiting the area. The service was friendly but hit and miss. (We had to keep asking for items that our server kept forgetting to bring and she seemed to waste a lot of time just walking back and forth between the tables and bar without doing anything.) My pork tenderloin sandwich was very good and my wife said her mashed potatoes and gravy were excellent. However, her meatloaf was dried out and terrible. While I don't expect gourmet iced tea, mine tasted like it was from an instant mix and had been sitting for some time. It appears to be a locals place with various activities going on each evening that many regularly attend. (They had a trivia contest going on during our visit.) Depending on what you order, you may think this place is great or just 'ok'. I can't recommend it based on our one visit. However, I will give it a try again in the future to see if we have a different experience.

We arrived at the restaurant at opening at 4:00 p.m. for some snacks and drinks. When we were seated, the server introduced the restaurant as a fusion of Italian and American Southern. Happy hour was going on so the drinks were both good and relatively reasonably priced. My wife and I ordered the bianca pizza. This is a white pizza with several unusual ingredients which really added to the taste. The one that comes to mind that I never had on a pizza before was ground (or small pieces) pistachios. What a delicious and great idea. The service was excellent with the server being able to answer many questions about the unusual menu. There are many choices for both vegetarians and vegans. By the time we left, the restaurant was crowded but not noisy. Although St. Petersburg is out of the way for us, I hope to visit more convenient locations again.

Since Bascom's was opened in 2001, it has been generously rewarded every year with kudos from critics and multiple Best of the Bay Awards that celebrate the fine dining and traditional steakhouse fare that is always served with graciousness and style. The
My wife and I found this restaurant near our motel on a Friday night and decided to dine there, Without reservations we were seated within 10 minutes. Scott was our server and explained the menu in detail. We were given a coupon for a free appetizer when purchasing two entrees. We chose the Artichoke dip which was outstanding, The Sea Bass my wife ordered and the Crab Cakes that I ordered as Entrees were both excellent. Although known for their steaks don't shy away from their seafood entrees.Highly recommend.

You were able to get Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner until 10/08/2018. Now they are only offering Breakfast and Lunch. A limited menu very few dinner choices, Breakfast, some sandwiches, wraps and Salads, nothing substantial. We ordered a lunch of Spaghetti and meatballs ( very small portion). Also ordered Portobello Ravioli in a White sauce, Ravioli we're not cooked enough too hard for my liking, White sauce was like Glue, no taste even with salt and parmesan cheese. Not easy to navigate around with a walker or wheelchair. If they go back to a better menu with more dinner choices and better taste, We will try again.Hi Dee,I know we are a bit late in responding to this but we still wanted to address your review. It was with a very heavy heart that we closed for dinners- a decision we made taking into account family time and personal health. We apologize for the experience you had, as we make it our policy to offer something else to our guests when it is brought to our attention on site that what they ordered is not to their liking. We do offer a multitude of dinner selections now after 11am and really hope to see you some time in the near future for breakfast or lunch!-The Parkside Staff

Am really disappointed by our experience of this restaurant. Had visited a couple of months ago and enjoyed the food it tasted delicious. Unfortunately after tonight the food was terrible! The only way the pasta bolognese could come out that dry dry was to be repaired before and then microwaved. I told the waiter that it was way too dry... dried out meat no sauce l couldn't eat! So my a fellow guest gave me a piece of chicken which I left on side of plate after telling waiter it's way too dry they took it away and returned with another plate which l found the picece of chicken... reheated and replated absolutely gross. I won't return or recommend so dissatisfied with the whole experience. What's happened to this place ? Best place for my leftovers was the bin.

Full Serve Restaurant
A friend and I went there on our way to an Red Green Show at the Palladium nearby. I had never been but he had. I consider myself a burger expert and they had an expertly prepared burger and most excellent fries. The atmosphere is amazing. Car nutz, be prepared to stay awhile, it's like an automotive museum with all sorts of interesting displays and memorabilia. There's a great outside dining area too where I assume your puppy can join you. The menu is very diverse for all kinds of appetites and tastes. The place is spotless. Restrooms are too. The service is excellent but mostly, it's about cars, motorcycles and food. You gotta go at least once just to see it.

They are famous for their pizza, so I highly recommend it. Their other food is very good too, including the wonderful Pazooki (cookie cake with ice cream on top) dessert. The service is great. This is a pretty casual dining place with lots of TV's on for whatever game or sport is on at the time. A little pricey, but worth it.

Cajun Cafe on the Bayou is moving. We'll be open for business at the bayou until August 18, 2019. We will reopen at our new location, 8260 66th St N, Pinellas Park in September 2019. We are posting updates on our Facebook page. Established in 1996 by Joe
This place is awesomeness! They are moving but not yet closed to do so as another reviewer wrote. Best crawfish etoufee ever with just the right amount of heat. Enough for two really. Great service too with a very nice selection of beers. Hopefully the new location will have the same feel. Good luck guys. We'll see you when you reopen. Thanks, we are up and running now, we took most of our furniture and decorations, so hopefully with all the great pictures we put on the wall, it brings a little feel of the old place.

Long time residents of the county, and we had never visited this cafe. We will be regulars here from now on. Zena, our server, was delightful. Her personality put her in an elite category of waitress. The lunch specials here are amazing. We only ate half of our tasty meals, and the bill was less than $23. Try the Potato Soup.

This is a great place for good old fashioned family food. The eggs/omelettes and home fries are wonderful. Service was somewhat slow, but adequate.. once they realized we were there. The taste of the food makes up for the service.
