Baltimore used to have amazing delis with seated service. There were places to go after a movie in the late evening. They have been disappearing; so it's nice to have a new addition with a pretty extensive menu. I got a huge tongue sandwich. Hard to find these days. Good food; simple service; order at the counter.

Have been here many times. Just recently for a retirement party. I ordered the lasagna, which took up almost half of my plate. Very large portion. The salad and breadsticks are always a winner too. Crab cakes are also worth trying...some of the best in the area.

Friendly people, great service and bar staff, and great beer and food make this place a local gem. They rotate their beer taps. They have a TV which shows the sun setting in Key West! Their food is excellent. If you are staying local like I was, this is the place you definitely want to go and hang out!!

Very nice atmosphere. Service was acting "snobby". We do not drink liquor, and the staff acted like we were from another planet. The food was ok. They serve Very Small portions, and VERY HIGH PRICES. We will not be coming back. There are plenty of other restaurants that are more pleasant, less expensive, and the same quality of food, except better.

We had pickled vegetables and borscht as well as dumplings. Beautifully presented and each prepared just right. The halibut and fried potatoes were also very tasty. The fish was moist; the potatoes were delicious. Reasonable prices and friendly, accommodating service.

Three of us went for an early lunch, so this family-friendly kosher restaurant was quiet. Parking is behind the restaurant which is located in a schleppy-looking office building. The restaurant is well-lit; tables are covered with white paper and have crayons with which to draw. We were greeted and seated quickly. The table had chips and a delicious salsa-type dip--not spicy, a bit sweet with a kick. Portions on their lunch menu were huge. We each ordered different dishes and enjoyed them. Each dish comes with fries and a drink--most offereings were $10.

We made a reservation through open table. I called earlier in the week to ask for seating in the bar area. Was told no problem. We arrived on time, gave our name twice and stood there. a few others were seated so we asked about our table, the woman asked for our name a third time. Then she said they could not find the reservation. No idea why she didn't tell me that initially. Finally , a manager came over and escorted us to a table in the bar , no apology, no menus. I asked for a burger was was told they don't offer them on saturday night. Probably our last visit.

We are the best bagel in Baltimore, Maryland and probably the World. We have takeout or eat in our restaurant with a great breakfast, brunch or light lunch fare. We seat over 100 with our inside and outside seating. We have been open since 1998 and now ha
Goldberg's is a heimishe, casual dining experience. Bagels are the star attraction, but all entrees are tasty. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or lunch, there is something on the menu sure to please everyone. You order at a window and are given a number to place on the table. A server brings you your order shortly after. It's a little noisy, and on Sundays can get fairly crowded. Still, I managed to enjoy a meal and sit with friends for more than an hour at a time on several occasions. Perfect for me and my crowd. But oh, the bagels! Can I say it again? The BAGELS! They're fabulous!!! Just walk in for a takeout order. The variety is stunning! All of that chewy bagel goodness with the tough exterior keeps me coming back.

Business lunch for three people. Greeted quickly and no snooty looks when just ordering water for beverage. Lunches were : Shrimp and Crabmeat Tacos - three served - not packed with food - average all around. Tenderloin sandwich with caramelized onions. This person said it was delicious. French fry accompaniment. My lunch was the House salad with spicy shrimp. Small portion - amazingly average. We also tried the Tempura Lobster for 22 bucks. Three small pieces that were.... you guessed it ... spectacularly average. 107.00 with tip. Questionable value at that price point.
