579 Benefit Street Restaurant is a creative and casual restaurant. All our food is made from scratch and made to order. Below are our Kitchen Hours, the bar stays open latter depending on business level of that night
The food here is wonderful!! Canât say enough about how delicious our meals were. The five of us were excited. We have found a new restaurant. Itâs easy to find, park, and accessible for the handicapped. The waitress was lovely and other staff attentive. Water glasses refilled, table cleared as needed, orders taken and filled perfectly. It was also quiet in the dining room. We could easily hear each other. No TVs blaring, no annoying background music playing. The bar, separated from the dining room by a door, had more buzz. If you are looking for great food and great service this is your place. The menu is on their website. Hi Jan, So happy to hear you enjoyed all aspects of 579. We take pride in our great food and service. We also offer Vallet on the weekends now to make parking even easier! Hope to see you again soon.

Recent review: "Great Lunch - Great Service Had a fabulous lunch with my family - Miriam was our waitress and did an absolutely stellar job! Will eat here again soon - loved the make your own salad option!"
We dined twice at the Bluefin during our stay in Providence and were impressed with the quality of the meals both times. The Margherita flatbread is delicious, just the right amount of cheese, crispy bread and tomatoes. Ahi Tuna wonton was also a hit with our group and we ordered it twice! Staff are attentive and welcoming, especially Yissell who went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and treated us like VIPs.

In Providence for RISD we looked for a gourmet white table cloth modern vibe venue. Gracies is it. Wonderful salad with locally sourced greens followed by fresh fish was cooked perfectly. Member of our party had pasta which was all dente and special. Excellent wines an elegant service. Iâll be back!

Place is truly a hidden gem, phenomenal food of high-quality, huge portions, salad sandwiches, you name it itâs amazing. Salmon salad was a generous portion of salmon, over a multitude of greens and vegetables. I opted for the Orland vinegar versus the regular dressing, so canât compare that, but it really was phenomenal. Parking is on the road, and seating is for maybe 35.

A highlight of coming to Providence is enjoying fine dining. Hemenwayâs fresh seafood entrees are second to none. We enjoyed swordfish, king crab legs, salmon and a NY strip. Offering a setting that is unlike any other in Providence, Waterman Grille is situated along the Seekonk River in a former bridge gatehouse that dates back to 1871. With its ageless brick, restored wood patinas and open kitchen, Waterman has become a neig
Reservations: Made online; they were needed (and are highly recommended), and, most important, honored.View/Ambiance: We enjoyed the wood/brick décor and the view of the river.Service: Daniel was our waiter and he was great! He was friendly, prompt, hard-working. Great job, Daniel, (from the couple from Chicago).Food: Amazing. Every dish was mouth-watering. Value: More than reasonable for such a find.If we lived in the Providence area, this would be our go-to restaurant. Keep up the good work, Waterman. We look forward to visiting again. Thanks fourfamilytravels! So happy to hear you enjoyed everything and that Daniel made your experience even better (I'll be sure to pass along your compliments). This visit, my husband and I enjoyed Lobster Benedict (chock-full of lobster), Portuguese Blade Meat Omelet (awesome), a half-order of their famous Custard-Stuffed French Toast (LOADED with pecans and fresh fruits), and a side order of homemade Hash. EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENT. Our waitress was superb. You will never be disappointed at this historical diner!!!!

I am a meat eater first class, however my daughter and her friend are vegitarian. Where to take them out to eat? They were told of the Garden Grille all the way up in Maine. I told them we can try it and see if you like it. They loved it and I must say the veggie burger was not at all bad,it was a very tasty burger. They tried the gluten free mac and cheese and the veggie burgers. I did taste it and again must say it was really good. They started with something with tofu which they could not get me to try. I do not do it even with chinese food.maybe it is the name tofu. However it is a very nice, small place, cute, and they do wine and beer of which we did have.Service was very good and made for a great experience for a first timer like me. what can be bad? it is all very healthy and does taste very good. I may serve vegi burgers at my BBQ at home for those who would like them. A good choice for those who are Veggi people.
