Reviews on American food in Pasadena, California, United States. Most famous for hosting the annual New Year's Tournament of Roses Parade and Rose Bowl, Pasadena is more than just a football town. Its extravagant City Hall boasts a beautiful Baroque dome, a courtyard garden and relaxing fountain. On South Orange Boulevard, known as Millionaires' Row, there are landmarked mansions to rival the most opulent homes of Beverly Hills. That chattering in the air is probably the local population of naturalized Red-crowned Amazon parrots.

This restaurant has had a serious problem with service. Cold coffee. Forgetting items. Etc. etc. This was a delightful experience today. The coffee was very hot and delivered right away. The food was delivered correctly. And, as usual, the food and coffee is super delicious. Iâm so happy theyâve gotten their act together.

During a recent work trip, my colleague wanted to stop by for a 50/50 burger because she had fond memories of previous visits. We were both disappointed by the quality of the dishes, saltiness, and changes in the menu. I was also rather disappointed by how bad the bathroom smelled. The service was kind and hospitable... albeit slow. I would not return....

Steaks were all cooked perfectly, sides of âhouseâ Mac and cheese was excellent. Broccoli and mashed potatoes perfect. Service was excellent great location for a business dinner.

Great food, great service and always friendly and consistent. The salads are amazing! Great selections and the dressings are yummy! Breakfast is delicious and thereâs a wide variety to choose from. The only downfall is thereâs almost always a wait, but you just plan ahead

We had lunch here to celebrate my Mom's 91st birthday and they did a lovely job. We were a large group of 11 people and our server stayed right on top of things and helped everyone, including two children. Their salads are huge (certainly big enough for two to share, which they do graciously). They also kindly let us bring a birthday cake and provided plates and offered to serve it. The food is delicious and everyone was happy, and it was quite reasonable.

Dined out on the patio. It was a very warm day, but they have a commercial grade, free standing air conditioner out there and it really helped. They serve French pressed coffee. The food and service was very good, there were about 35 of us. They are also a pizzeria. When leaving, the dining room which is quite large was totally packed with patrons. I have a feeling this is a neighborhood gem restaurant.

Wide variety of exquisite selections on the menu. Pasta, seafood and steak choices all were outstanding and made it a difficult choice. Lobster crepe appetizer was delicious and fully endowed. Delicious lobster bisque sauce topped it off. I had the pan seared sea bass as a main course. Presentation was picturesque. Absolutely delicious. Wide variety of desserts as well. Again fabulous presentation. Moreover, our service was truly exceptional.

Wow, Russellâs is perfection folks. Lighting quick service and delicious food. What is better? Our food wait time was literally five minutes! Me and my wife both had pancakes (she had banana pancakes), eggs, bacon, a blueberry muffin and a breakfast burrito to go. We reheated the burrito the next day for breakfast and it was DELICIOUS! That just goes to show you the fresh ingredients they use. If you are in the greater Los Angeles area, the drive to Pasadena is worth the trip. You can park on the street or just park in the garage and the business will validate your parking. Pure perfection!
