Located in a neighborhood not far from the beaches (accessible by car or taxi), this large restaurant is set in a wood-fenced covered garden. A singer-guitarist provides great background music while you enjoy your meal. The food is unbelievably good - and the portions are huge. Had we known how big, we would have skipped the (very good) caesar salad we shared as a starter. I had the almond-crusted grouper and my husband had the wiener schnitzel (each comes with your choice of side) - neither of us was able to finish the meal.

We ate every breakfast here and never tired of the wonderful offerings of this scrumptious and varied buffet. From Eggs Benedict to Scrambled Eggs, there was something for everyone. What made our repeated trips extra special though, was our server, Liza! She not only took care of our every need, she possesses the most delightful personality that started our days in the most positive way. She is truly a joyful person that enjoys what she does and shares her energy, cheerfulness and exuberance with those with whom she comes in contact. Ask for her by name. We had lunch at The Lazy Turtle. It was excellent, good value, good portions and very flavourful. I had Fish and Chips, the Grouper was superb, my husband had a Cheeseburger and said it was excellent. Marie was very attentive and very accommodating. A wonderful experience. Thank you.

What can I say about Ruth's that hasn't be said?Well how about I juat so do it. The steak is amazing, the Malbec from Mendoza was also superb and well priced.The creme caramel was also very nice just needed slight more crackle for my liking.

Have been in Aruba off and on for 17 years, and always driven past this restaurant, and finally tried it out, and it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in we felt like very special guests, lots of attention, and well taken care of. Food was great, service over the top, very friendly and good price. Attention to detail was wonderful. My only suggestion, is the to help a little with the curb side appeal, may be cut and trim up the grass from the outside, just needs a little attention, however beautiful and very clean inside.

If you like drinking close to where your toes can touch the sand, this is the place. We did not eat here however, we had a few enjoyable drinks. We felt compelled to order the pina coladas that everyone raved about. There were good, but not great (in our opinion). We felt that the slippery monkey was a much better alcoholic beverage. We spent a lot of time at the Pega Pega Grill and Beach Bar during our stay at the Manchebo Beach Resort and it was a wonderful experience every time! The menu has a lot of options for vegetarians and vegans. The menu is extensive, particularly for a beach bar. The atmosphere is fun and the staff was always very friendly and helpful. I want to thank, Junior, who always went above and beyond to be helpful to us during our stay. Thanks Junior! My husband and I ordered drinks during happy hour, which is all day. The waitstaff gave us a menu and we ordered mudslides that were 2 for the price of 1. We were amazed at the price of the drinks, we thought OMG 2 frozen drinks for 7.50 US dollars. When the bill came the bartender had charged us 11 US dollars, my husband brought this difference to the bar staffs attention. The waitstaff said he had brought us an old menu and offered to pay the difference. We certainly did not want the waiter to pay out of his pocket. We would like everyone to be aware that the bar is charging different prices for drinks during happy hour. The drinks were good and the waitstaff very friendly, just not sure what is going on with the pricing?Hi myopinion63, thank you for the visit and for taking the time to share your experience with us. Reasonable priced, excellent food, great craft beer selection with a great mix of locals, tourist and expats and the local motorcycle gang. They often throw great parties with live bands and the waiters are super nice, although I think they are somewhat understaffed.
