If you enjoy an authentic bagel, this is the place. Terrific selections of bagels and various cream cheeses. The breakfast bagel sandwich was delicious and I love the multitude of self-serve coffee, and flavor-shot options. We will definitely be coming back.

Loud atmosphere, families and teens. Table service burger joint. Burgers are ok, nothing special. Endless fries, no thanks. Thick big fries and we all left many on our plate. Medium priced, but add in drinks and servers tip and it adds up. Just other burger places to go to that are better.

I traveled here with a group for a special event â Backroads Vintage Market Day (held once a month on Wednesdays), featuring âvintage, salvaged, repurposed and handmade goods.â When they say âbackroads,â they ainât kidding. This onetime farm is located in a remote area accessed only by a stretch of gravel road thatâs not really wide enough for bi-directional traffic. Once the road dust settles, the rustic farm buildings and bucolic views of cornfields and a pond are kinda purdy. I generally enjoy craft and antique fairs but I did not love this one. In a nutshell, Market Days is for the gals. Amid booth after booth of womenâs fashion, fake flowers, and cutesy curios, I felt like the figurative lonely onion in a petunia patch. I was bored out of my gourd.Having mucho extra time to kill, we decided to have lunch in the Tearoom. The 30-minute wait was no problem because they gave us an electronic pager. Our server was pleasant, but on this very busy day, food prep trudged along at glacial speed and it took 45 minutes for our meal to arrive. The âEmerson Creek Wrapâ was very good but rather dainty. The accompanying sides â7 kettle chips (yes, I counted) plus 3 thin slivers of melon â amounted to garnish. This meal cost $15.99 plus tax and tip. Hey, would you mind putting just one more kettle chip on my plate to make it an even 8?

I am so disheartened to write this review. As a professional woman I am extremely supportive of other female professionals/business owners. I previously dined at Kiss My Dish with this visit being my fourth. I was so excited to have my sister (that commuted over an hour) to dine with me today. I had the reservation for two for 3:30. While en route we received a call advising that they were running behind and asked if we can come at 4. We arrived at Kiss My Dish around 3:35 and sat outside until 3:55 then went inside. We were advised that they were still running behind and it would be a longer wait. As I indicated earlier, I had dined here a few times and was excited to have my sister come. We waited patiently until around 5:15 then we were sat. Approximately 5:00 a party came in that were either friends or family of the chef. They were sat at a table. Over an hour and a half later at about 7:20 I looked over and saw the table of family or friends enjoying their meal. Being that we were waiting almost 3-1/2 hours to be sat and served, observing this was disturbing. Apparently two other tables felt the same as the table behind us left after eating an appetizer and another table was preparing to leave after being served their appetizer. The ladies at the other table expressed their concerns to the waitress as did I. The waitress went to advise Chef Royce of our concerns and shortly thereafter she came out of the kitchen. By this time the table of ladies were standing by our table which was by the door. Chef Royce came out and asked if they were staying and they stated no. Before they could speak to her about their concerns, Chef Royce very rudely dismissed them by just walking away from them. She then came to my table with 2 receipts that she slapped down in front of me. She said âI was told that you thought this was personalâ. I said âI saw the family come in hours after me, I saw the lady hug and welcome them and then next thing that I know they were eating full meals-not appetizersâ. She began pointing at these two receipts and started taking loud trying to tell me that their order came in an hour before mine. Thereâs no way their order was placed an hour before mine as I had been there since 330 sitting in my car and 4 sitting in the restaurant and saw who came in and left the entire time. It was obvious the receipt that she claimed to be theirs belonged to the last table that has gotten up 10Minutes before the other party was seated OR her friends/family placed their order while en route and she served them prior to 3 different parties that patiently waited for hours. How she runs her business is strictly up to her however her standing over me taking loud could have went really bad really fast. Thank God that I am PROFESSIONAL enough to not act GHETTO and to understand that my money spends well every place that I patron. I will no longer patron Kiss My Dish nor will I continue to tell people about her restaurant. Chef Royce you cook well however your inability to take constructive criticism without being offended and loud is not good. Please work on this as I watched 3 parties leave their table after only appetizers today due to the perception that you served the family or friends party without a regard that we waited to dine with you for hours; even with a reservation. Also keep in mind that unfortunately we live in a world where you might want to bring it down a few notches.

What began in the fall of 2005 as a dream of bringing together fresh, made from scratch âaddictiveâ food alongside a large selection of local âcreativeâ handcrafted, exclusive and rare beers on tap is today a reality at Tap House Grill. The dream of delic
The only reason there is more than one star, is the food was good. We were greeted with an attitude. Waited 20 minutes for our first beverage. Never received the appetizer we ordered (server admitted her fault; she was too busy flirting). Brought our meal out with incorrect sides. No apologies. Server claimed to be a manager; offered us a âfree appetizer â but there are so many restrictions, we will never use...

We dine at Benny's Place pretty regularly for dinner, and occasionally for breakfast. We appreciate the quiet, relaxed and casual atmosphere, and the food is always excellent. While Benny's is a "family diner/cafe style" restaurant, it seems all of the food is homemade and a lot of care and creativity are put into their dishes. Benny's isn't one of those places where the menu is 6+ pages long, with way too many choices (and therefore, probably frozen, not fresh items). Instead, they limit their dinner offerings to just a couple pages, with additional specials. They also have cocktails, beer and a nice, but small, wine list. The service is always very friendly and attentive. Prices are very, very reasonable as well!

Breakfast is delicious here. Really enjoy the pancakes and bacon. Home style fries are awesome. Feels like a restaurant from tiny town. My only qualm is they only accept cash. I always have to make sure i have cash before I suggest this. Staff is friendly.

Home to America's favorite Chicago-style hot dogs, Italian beef, burgers, salads, and chocolate cake.
Everyone in the family can enjoy eating at Portillo's! My husband loves the combo sandwich Italian sausage and beef! I just lover the beef sandwich with sweet peppers! The grandkids love their Portillo's hot dogs! I remember all those years ago, when I was a kid and my parents treated us to hot dogs at the original hot dog stand on North Avenue in Villa Park. Something things is life are the same enjoying a Portillo's hot dog and fries!!!

Brew all the good you can! Tree-to-cup specialty coffee and delicious glocal food for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Endiro is a trendy, friendly espresso cafe/restaurant in a town that badly needs quality offerings. And everyone is hyper-enthusiastic about Endiro, but it fails in two major areas: food and coffee. The atmosphere is cheery, and the staff are very nice. I've been to Endiro several times, hoping that my coffee or food will improve, but I think I've been there often enough now to see that the cappuccinos are merely acceptable - not stellar by any means. And the food doesn't rise above mediocrity, at least the breakfasts don't. On my first visit, I ordered a waffle and bacon along with my cappuccino. The waffle was flaccid, i.e. not crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, which is what a good waffle should be. How they managed the soft, lifeless waffle is a mystery, although there really aren't many variables: type of waffle iron, temperature, cooking time, and type of batter. So at least one of those variables is way off. (If the waffles are vastly better at the pour-it-yourself waffle iron at a Towneplace Suites, then you have a problem.) On my second visit, I had their breakfast sandwich, and it was equally dismal. And my stool, facing the counter, was adjacent to where the dirty dishes were dumped. Not all that appealing. So Endirio has work to do, in my opinion, but given the rave reviews, I'm definitely in the minority.
