I've been to other Fionn MacCool's locations and always enjoyed the food and the service. However, my experience with the Orillia location was completely different and very disappointing. To start, the hotel we stayed at had a breakfast flyer for Fionn in the room. It cleared stated on the flyer that Saturdays and Sundays breakfasts are served till noon. We got to the restaurant just before 11 but were told that Breakfast is only till noon on Sundays.I opted to order a burger. Waited over 40 minutes to get our food. At this point I'm already disappointed at the slow service and the place wasn't even busy (only 4 tables with customers). We finally got our food. The food looked ok but then I took a bite...I bit into a cold burger pattie...not only was it cold, it was pink inside! The waitress was apologetic and offered to bring me something else. At this point I was so turned off, I didn't want to eat.We left shortly after..my meal was taken off the bill but what was REALLY disappointing is that the manager DID NOT personally come to our table or apologize. he left the waitress to do the apologizing..To me, that is POOR MANAGEMENT. If a customer has just eaten RAW FOOD in your restaurant, the least you can do is go talk to them and maybe offer them some incentive to return to their establishment. Gentleman asked about accessibility answered kindly.Food was good.Location just of the by-pass to the casino, therefor excellentInteresting concept to cook your own steak, don't be afraid (don't let it sit on hot stone too long for it keeps on cooking) but generous portions of meatFrench onion soup needs more cheese on topPasta dishes , very rich (butter or oil) , needs to be HOT instead of warm (had to turn mine back to get re-heated), garlic bread needs GARLIC!!!!Ambiance and lay-out OK. Lots of free parking. Washrooms non-accessible.Highlight: Jenna, amazing service, funny and caring. A student that deserves a Grade A.Thanks for free BDay desertA nice , maybe a bit pricey experience. Will come back for this is unique for Orillia.

The buffet was comparable to most other buffets. Nothing over the top or special. Good selection, when trays are kept full. A little pricy, however the service was great!!Hi wuensch, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. Going to a Music show and need a quick meal as you are in a time crunchTry Montanas they have a great choice on their menu and the food is good withgreat service and the wait to be served is not a long wait. Once a month, active and retired School Bus Drivers get together for breakfast and friendship. This month we picked Tammi's and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere is great, the restaurant was busy, and the food was delivered in very fast order. Nobody was disappointed!

A little pricey. Truck stop food at restaurant prices. The food's okay but nothing to get excited about. The service was mediocre, staff too busy visiting.Better choices nearby. Theo's is just up the street, a real restaurant for the same or less money. For an outstanding breakfast try the Sunshine Grill, across from Food Basics out by Home Depot.Both nicer and better value than Wimpy's.

On Saturday evening with no reservation this wonderful restraunt got us seats for 6 people!Most couples had various hamburgers. I had corn beef! Nicely prepared wth crushed sauerkraut Pickle and fries. Oh I forgot the draft beer was amazing restraunt.The only problem was : we were beside two opening windows and were unable to open them. Food is amazing.

This was our first time here and it definitely won't be our last! We thoroughly enjoyed our entire dining experience here the other night. Our waiter, Austin, was one of the best servers we have ever experienced. His demeanour was so positive and he was very professional - he could work in any fine dining location, anywhere. Both couples shared an appetizer size caesar salad each and it was enough for each. Crisp romaine and just the right amount of home made dressing. Two of us ordered the maple/hoisin glazed salmon with risotto and it was delicious. Perfectly cooked, with nice texture and flavours. The braised lamb shank was full of flavour as well and was an equally good choice. We were celebrating two birthdays so dessert was on the house which was such a nice surprise - creme brûlée and cheesecake - both good choices. Really nice atmosphere to dine in as well - very warm and inviting. Comfortable seating. Our new favourite place in Orillia! Thank you for a wonderful evening.Thank you very much for your kind words.
