Reviews on American food in Oranjestad, Caribbean. Boutiques, upscale chain stores and street vendors, as wells as casinos and a wide range of restaurants, dance clubs and bars, make Oranjestad a popular destination in Aruba. In addition to shopping, dining and entertainment, the island's capital city offers museums, a butterfly farm, art galleries, golf, historical sites and a marina. The island's colonization by the Netherlands shows in Oranjestad's Dutch colonial architecture, while the buildings' bright colors are distinctly Caribbean.

Located at the beautifully manicured first and ninth holes on The Links at Divi Aruba golf course, Mulliganâs Golf Café, Bar & Restaurant is the perfect start or finish to a round of golf â or a day in the Aruban sun. Open 7-days-a-week: Breakfast 6:30-1
We went to this restaurant at lunchtime, and our order was promptly taken. We can recommend it, if you are happy with the usual " suspects"like chicken wings, hamburgers or pizza. We got a pizza, which was an Italian style Pizza Margherita. Prices are pretty typical for restaurants on the island. For an economical choice watch out, when they have a pizza special on Tuesday and Thursday!

Lucyâs Retired Surfers Bar & Restaurant aims to provide a laid-back, beach vibe, complete with the coldest drinks and the hottest menu around since 1992. Whether you want to belly up to the bar, are craving a juicy burger or even if you want to grab a bit
This is a perfect water front bar to "chill" after a few hours of shopping! We wanted to try the local beer and rest up before heading back to our cruise ship. The local beer is fittingly named "CHILL"! Lucy's Retired Surfers Bar is cheerful decorated and very relaxing. The staff is friendly and glad to engage in conversation about their island. We enjoyed our brews and learned some island history ..... I call that a good day! Stop by you'll be glad you did! Thanks for stopping in, Tonya! We're psyched to hear you enjoyed our laid-back atmosphere and that we could provide a great spot for you to chill and sip on local brews!

Have been in Aruba off and on for 17 years, and always driven past this restaurant, and finally tried it out, and it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in we felt like very special guests, lots of attention, and well taken care of. Food was great, service over the top, very friendly and good price. Attention to detail was wonderful. My only suggestion, is the to help a little with the curb side appeal, may be cut and trim up the grass from the outside, just needs a little attention, however beautiful and very clean inside.

We discovered this place while paddle boarding with Dennis Martinez (look him up for water excursions!) We ended our trip here and grabbed a drink while we waited for him to get the car to pick us up. The staff was friendly, the place was laid back and had a gorgeous view of the marina. They didn't care that we were wet and didn't have shoes haha.We liked it so much that we went back the next day for lunch. It had a great selection of tapas and sandwiches. My husband got a fish sandwich for 15 dollars. I got 2 apps. Conch fritters and garlic shrimp. I will say the apps are a little pricey, but they are quality and delicious, plus the staff is amazing and everything is expensive in Aruba. And the location!!!!! When I say expensive, I mean that the garlic shrimp (3 shrimp) came with a small tasting of the most amazing macaroni salad I ever had. But, the app was 10 dollars. I'd still order it again. And we plan to go back to the place again when we visit in 2 years. If you are looking for laid back, small, island casual that locals visit, too... Go here. You won't be disappointed!

In May 2003, The Dutch Pancakehouse opened its doors at the beautiful Renaissance Marketplace, downtown Oranjestad. This family friendly restaurant is ideal for breakfast, lunch and dinner with your whole family. The Dutch Pancakehouse offers a wide selec
With Aruba's Dutch connection, this is "local" without being "local". (Made answering the Trip Advisor questions tough - is this a Caribbean restaurant? Yes - it's located in the Caribbean. Is this an European restaurant? Yes - it's got "Dutch" in the name). In truth it's the best of both worlds. We enjoyed pancakes for breakfast, pizza at lunch time, and delicious desserts. And one little local just hopped up onto our table to join us - a bird with a beautiful blue eye (I included a photo). Service was good on some occasions, not on others. Prices were good for the amount of food you got. Lots of variety in terms of the food they serve - surely everyone in your group will find something they like. The restaurant overlooks a little stage, and one night we were treated to a vocalist. There was also a beautiful sunset - just walk from the restaurant towards the water, and that's your spot for photos.Enjoy!

We ate every breakfast here and never tired of the wonderful offerings of this scrumptious and varied buffet. From Eggs Benedict to Scrambled Eggs, there was something for everyone. What made our repeated trips extra special though, was our server, Liza! She not only took care of our every need, she possesses the most delightful personality that started our days in the most positive way. She is truly a joyful person that enjoys what she does and shares her energy, cheerfulness and exuberance with those with whom she comes in contact. Ask for her by name. Lisa - with a "Z"!Dear Michael V,Thank you for visiting us at La Vista restaurant. We are happy to hear you enjoyed our breakfast. Liza is truly a gem and we will share the wonderful feedback.Best Regards,Restaurant Manager
