We went to the Lazy Dog Restaurant in Valencia for dinner, because it was Pet Friendly. Lazy Dog has an outdoor patio area for seating that was very nice in the shade, quieter than inside, and seating with your four legged companion. The food was excellent. My wife had the salmon with pilaf rice, and I had the bison burger for the fiest time with onion rings. Liked the bison burger better than a regular red meat burger. Recommend reservations and Lazy Dog.

We took our grandson, at his request to Outback for âdate night.â We are from Texas, and have found quality of food MUCH higher in our home state than California when frequently visiting grandchildren. That being said, service was great, the food was good by California standards... so it gets a very good but it you want exceptional food, you wonât find it in this state.

This is the third time eating here when visiting Santa Clarita. The restaurant was busy but we were quickly seated. The portions were large. The meat was cooked perfectly per our desired request. Our waiter gave us good service.

Picked this place to host a mini family reunion of kids and grandkids from the East Coast, and was very pleased with the choice. First, the bartender, a very charming individual, knew how to make a Rob Roy without any prompting. Second, they had a suitable table for us when the gang arrived without a wait. Their service was remarkably attentive and caring; our server, Danica, took personal interest in our situation and was very helpful and personable in taking our orders. When the food came to the table, it met the approval of all our guests; personally, my favorite was the bacon-wrapped scallops, with the lasagna coming in a close second. The wine selection, though a bit abbreviated, had some really good choices. We don't get over this way all that often, but you can be assured that when we do, we'll try to find a good excuse to have dinner at The Social.

True jewel in Santa Clarita. This old truck stop serves huge portions of hash browns for breakfast.Been coming here for over 30 years. Always enjoy going off my diet and indulging on the Criss Special, eggs, bacon and hash browns. The grill is covered with potatoes ready to serve. The staff have been working here for years. They are friendly and efficient. They make sure you have an endless cup of coffee.Get there early F/Sa/Su, otherwise youâll have to wait.Great truck stop or diner type food.Bring an appetite.

I crave the garlic lemon chicken and BBQ chopped salad. The family deals they have are great for those nights you want to pick up dinner to take home for the family without having to cook. It's delicious and healthy. It's a great lunch place with a relaxed and casual atmosphere.

First time here. Have always heard that it is quite noisy so have avoided it. But went for late lunch and it was quiet. Large selection of craft beers, something for everyone. Several are local. We tried Topa Topa Chief Peak IPA 12 oz $8 and Pocock Old Red Brown 12oz $8. Both were good, but not if you sampled one after the other. They are completely different. For lunch we had the Ruben with chips $14 and since it was Taco Tuesday tried the Spicy Pork Taco special $10. The Ruben was big. Brought 1/2 home, but it was sure good. The taco were two street tortillas, made in house, lots of pork, cabbage and pico de gallo. Excellent and perfect size for lunch. My only complaint was the tortillas were greasy. We will definitely be back, for lunch though

Last month, my wife and I went to the Egg Plantation for breakfast to celebrate my birthday. I am a huge fan of their omelets. They specialize in breakfast including 101 omelets. They have specialty espresso beverages and a full bar serving their in-house Bloody Mary.We have been going to the Egg Planation for no less than 15 years. Not a single time we have been disappointed. Their omelets are always very good, the service is always excellent, the portions are very generous, and the price is very reasonable.Parking at times could be tight, but if you try parking a couple of blocks away, usually parking is abundant.
