We stopped in on our way back home. My husband is a fried chicken lover and loves Chesters Fried Chicken. This was my first time eating it. I thought the chicken was above average. You get two sides with this. I ordered mashed potatoes and gravy and Cole slaw. The gravy was heavily peppered. Did not care for that. Cole slaw was good. You got a biscuit with this snack and the biscuit was tasteless. Worst biscuit I've ever had. They were out of a lot of items, but still had good choices for what was left. Employees were polite and efficient. A fast food place. I would prefer to eat elsewhere, but my husband will be back.

My family and I enjoyed eating dinner here last week. This place is special because it also has Mexican food in it. My sister ordered the taco salad and she enjoyed it :) . Overall, if you are looking for a place to have a quick meal, this place is for you :) .

Let me start by saying I'm not usually this negative.Stopping off interstate to get gas, my wife and I decided to find a restaurant at Sunday noon. We normally look for local fare. Ronnie's was it.Advertised as a buffet, it might better be termed a served limited cafeteria. 4 meats (at 11:45 I was told "no more roast beef"), 3 gravies, kernel corn, collard greens and all the rest of the " sides" were carbs! There was a cold "bar" with pasta salad, cole slaw (the worst I've had), sliced tomatoes and onions ... a couple of desserts (the banana pudding came out of a can, had a few bananas sliced up and tossed in for good measure and topped with symmetrically placed vanilla wafers). The drinks (as expected) were extra. Here's the kicker ... all the food was all cold! Apparently that's the way people liked it because the place was full of locals.Paying as we left, I was asked if everything was alright. I answered honestly, "the food was cold." The clerk keep to collecting the tab ... without more than, "I'm sorry."My recommendation ... Bad Choice!
I was born and raised in Newberry. Moved away some 30+ years ago but I still have fond memories of Zesto. When you are 5 and can get a chocolate dipped soft ice cream cone! Anyway, I still think they have the best burgers in town. Forget McDonalds and go here instead. Not fancy and don't be scared. It may look like something from Diners and Dives but give it a try.

Great place to hang out with friends after work for a drink and have a few laughs at the bar. Or you can have a seat at the dining area to have a meal and be taken care of by the awesome servers. I've been to this grill and bar several times and been greeted with smiles and exceptional service. My favorite dish here is the mile high nachos which is served piled high on a plate with hamburger meat, nacho cheese, and jalapenos. If you're ever in the Berry Patch, make this is a definite stop for delicious eats and great fun.

We dined here at lunch for a family birthday celebration. The staff was very accommodating for our group of 8. Service was excellent, and the food was all served in a timely fashion. I enjoyed sharing mozzarella sticks and a grilled chicken salad. Everyone at our table said their food was good. I'd definitely dine here again!

Fine dining located in historical downtown Newberry, SC; Figaro is a few doors down from the Newberry Opera House and is open daily for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner and serves brunch-only on Sunday.
Figaro is known for its exceptional beef. The Chef has a deft hand in its preparation and a real flare that is revealed in all of his dishes. The wait staff is well trained and the atmosphere is elegant in a converted old bank where the vaults serve as wine cellars. The She Crab soup is delicious, incredibly thick and rich. The Figaro salad and the salmon salad, a perfectly cooked filet on a bed of marinated couscous and salad veggies are particularly good. If you are adventurous and can afford it, ask the chef to whip up whatever special meal he wants you to have and prepare to be delighted.

We were planning on just getting something light but this place turned out to be far nicer than we were expecting; servers in uniforms, cloth tablecloths, etc., we actually asked if we were under-dressed and they didn't care at all.Service was fast and friendly. Dale was patient and attentive.Probably the best pimento cheese I've ever had; creamy and not at all salty. The scallop rice planter had perfectly prepared shellfish as did the shrimp rice planter.I wish I could have tried dessert but the portions were just too massive!

We happened upon Bill & Franâs by happenstance on a road trip. While larger, it had a diner feel, with the grill cooking area open to the seating area. This led to some concern about possible noise, but that never proved an issue. The clientele seemed a mix of locals and travelers from the nearby Interstate, and likely little had changed in decades of operation. The two of us were looking for something light, so we violated our âruleâ of ordering what the restaurant seemed to be oriented towards; in this case, breakfasts and sandwiches. Rather, we ordered the B&F House Salad (iceberg lettuce, grilled chicken breast, ham, turkey, bacon, American cheese, tomato, onion, green peppers, and a hard boiled egg); and the Fuji Apple Salad with Grilled Chicken (spring greens, grilled chicken breast, apple, grapes, apple chips, dried cranberries, feta cheese, and pecans with an apple cider vinaigrette dressing). Both proved quite tasty . . . and huge. So much for a light lunch. With drinks, tax, and tip, the tab came to $26. Definitely worth it, and weâd not hesitate to stop back should the opportunity present itself.

Beautiful restaurant. Efficient service. The bread is good. Caesar Salad was fresh and flavorful and presented well with crisp salad. The wine list had something for everyone. Potato crusted salmon was very good. Food was hot and the flavor was subtle but very good. The vegetables were flavorful as well. The scored flounder was very enjoyable and goodA great evening.
