Casual dining at its finest. Bring the whole family or plan a date night and enjoy dinner in our upstairs Grill or downstairs in our Pub & Brewery. Whether dining up or down you can enjoy the same delicious menu featuring traditional Altland House classic
Hadn't been here for well over a decade. Liked it so much that I've been back twice since last month.. Their signature Turtle Soup is most memorable. Another classic is the "Pennsylvania Dutch" Chicken and Waffles, a regular Sunday treat for many households. Not crazy about the lounge's layout but the service was fine. The Bar can be loud. I'll be back!

This diner was clean and comfortable. They offer a very broad selection of meals whether it be for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The prices are very reasonable and they have a nice selection of daily specials that represent additional values. We tried wraps that tasted very good and came with a side of chips. Utz's, of course.

Texas Roadhouse is a steak restaurant providing legendary food with legendary service. Texas Roadhouse specializes in hand-cut steaks, fresh-baked bread, fall-off-the-bone-ribs, and made-from-scratch sides. We also serve ice cold beer and legendary margar
Texas Roadhouse never disappoints! This time, we tried the salmon and herb encrusted chicken and the food was spectacular! My new favorites! The staff was prompt and courteous. An excellent outing!
Johnny and Rude's is a 50's style themed Pizza Parlor and Grill. Holding true to the Jersey Roots. With classic's such as the "Italian Hot Dog" and "Fresh Steamed Burgers". We pride ourselves on not being a Franchise and Family Owned. Come check us out!!
We stopped to grab a quick lunch and we were not disappointed! We both ordered the lunch special (1/2 sub, fries & can of soda for $6.95). The 1/2 sub was bigger than we expected and the roll was fresh and light. The chicken cheesesteaks were delicious along with the crinkle fries. Our server, Olivia, was friendly and helpful. The owners both took the time to say hello and share a bit of their story. We will definitely be back! Another plus...they deliver!!!

I should preface my remarks by saying that we opted to eat upstairs in the Brew Pub. In hindsight, this may have been a mistake. The seating and atmosphere were warm & friendly, but the service was dreadfully slow. In addition, everyone was just about done, and I had not received my soup and my daughter hadn't received her crab dip appetizer. Anyway, the good presentation was excellent. My daughter had the Chicken Tenders Wrap (fried chicken tenders, honey mustard & tomato). My son had the Grilled Ham & Gouda Sandwich special, and I had the Soup & Half Sandwich special (Veggie Pistou Soup that was just okay) and a 1/2 grilled corned Beef, Gruyere, & Camelized Onion (the taste was good, but the corned beef was hard to find!). With just 3 draft beers, the bill was $54.06 before tip. That is most likely the mole and only time I will visit the Warehouse Gourmet in Hanover, PA.

As with most places, this restaurant has its better dishes. The broasted chicken is made fresh and is worth the wait. Stick to the standard diner choices and you wonât go wrong. Also worth noting is that although they were understaffed during my visit, they did an outstanding job keeping thing moving and ensuring the food was served hot.

Friendly staff! Clean throughout! Menu has good variety and not over priced. Lightly battered fresh haddock was done to perfection, as was the accompanying fries. Cole slaw was alright. Portions were huge! Roast Pork dinner with filling needs some tender love applied!! Lacked tenderness and filling needed flavor! Staff was attentive. Took a long time for food to come out of kitchen - mid day, little business, change of shift in kitchen area?

For years we have passed by the Mill thinking it was a dive bar not stopping. We finally stopped today and what an amazing surprise. The staff was wonderfully friendly and the food was amazing. I had the Smoked brisket with french fries and it was the best brisket (smoked on site) I have ever had, melting in my mouth. Even the fries were incredible. This was the first time but definitely won't be the last.

One of my best friends always claimed this was the best restaurant in the Hanover/ McSherrystown area. Had passed it many times heading home from the "Big Woods" of Pennsylvania. Last week, I finally got to experience- not disappointed at all. The setting is elegant though not overdone. Service was excellent. many family members work here- always a good sign and guarantee of quality. My Salmon Cakes were, perhaps , the best I'd ever tasted- flavorful, large, and done to perfection. Will surely return to this extraordinary venue!

I live nearby. I have driven past this place I don't know how many times. My wife decided we were having dinner here tonight, and I am so overwhelmingly impressed! The drinks were fairly priced, the food was extraordinary, and the service was phenomenal. I don't have a negative thing to say, and that is rare. The atmosphere is very welcoming with a good view, they Deck bar, and a lounge down below. I would absolutely recommend this place. From the amuse-bouche, to the appetizer, to the entree, and the complimentary midnight snack from Charle and Denise... Wow! Thanks for the GREAT service Dakota.
