The Wine Kitchen on the Creek is a modern, seasonal style chophouse that features local, high quality cuts of meat and a farm fresh menu that includes many seafood and vegetarian options along with a dynamic wine and spirits list.
It was a board business dinner and we had about 12 people attending. The service and food were flawless, and the wine recommendations outstanding. Everyone was very impressed, and the place was very busy. I recommend this for any venue. And, we will definitely be back. Congratulations to the chef, serving staff, and management!

We were celebrating birthdays with a group of eight and were a bit disappointed there were no childrenâs menu. Our entreeâs were delicious though although each was served one at a time with more than a ten minute wait between the first and eighth meal meaning the first served was quite cold by the time everyone received their meals. We enjoyed the teas and crab dip appetizer.
Providing the finest Hand Made Pizza Since 1980. Sports bar, Pool Tables, Live Venues.
Dined here for lunch and had a mixed experience between the food, service, and presentation. First, when walking in, some of the people who you first meet did not make us feel as though we were in a "professional restaurant" environment, regardless if it's a bar/restaurant. First appearances and impressions can mean a lot.To the food, we ordered the steak and cheese subs with fries, which were good. Steak was thinly sliced and the portion was fair. I'd give the sub a 7.0/10. The server for the most part was attentive, although she did not refill our waters when it was clear they were empty. One big turn off was the bathrooms. Wow, what a filthy mess. There weren't even paper towels to dry your hands off after washing them. All in all, just an average place. Probably won't go back because there are too many other good places to eat within 15-20 minutes. We are the Neighborhood "Cheers" Cater to all' Continuously, updating and improving since New Ownership.

Thursday was Rose Tasing Night and the experience was delightful! We sampled 5 delicious Rosé wines and ended up buying 2 bottles to take home. We filled up on well-crafted, tasty appetizers and enjoyed the al fresco experience on the patio. Great job Rich and Kelly Regan (as always!).

We've lived in Frederick for 20 years and had not tried Avery's but this past Sunday it was time! We arrived at 5:30 and got an outside table right away. This place is very "broken in" - nothing fancy. People playing cornhole outside, hammering crabs everywhere, brown paper on the tables. Crabs seem to be the biggest draw here. I ordered a crab cake, red skin potatoes and grilled asparagus. I give the crab cake a one thumb up. Lots of crab but a bit of filler as well. Could be seasoned better I thought. Mr. ordered stuffed flounder, with same veggies as me. Their grilled asparagus was perfect. Great place to people and car watch out the front deck. They definitely had a lot of regular customers. We would go back!!

Wilcomâs Inn is a Historic Roadhouse converted into a fine dining International Steakhouse by Inc. 500 awardees Oscar & Jorge Fuster. After almost a decade hiatus from the restaurant industry, brothers, & former owners of Rico y Rico Restaurant â Awardees
What an experience Wilcom's was! First and foremost the waiter was so unbelievably nice and he spent so much time with us, he gave us truly, truly personal service. The food was absolutely excellent as well and I've never seen a filet mignon for such a reasonable price anywhere in the world. I can't wait to be back in the area, definitely going to be coming back to this place often. Plus they have a Tesla charger!

On a Sunday evening, I ordered chicken noodle soup and the wife got a Derby burger with fries. We ordered very expensive draft beers. The food came out real bad even though the owners (with kids) were back in the kitchen. My soup (not much chicken) came out slightly warmer than room temperature, so I sent it back and it came back nice and hot. My wife ordered her burger medium well. It was black on the outside, but red-raw in the middle - and cold. Must have been frozen to start. Her portion of fries was small, cool, and stale - like the leftover last few pieces from a holding bin. She did not want to make a scene in front of our friends and is uncomfortable sending things back, bc it could "be doctored up" by a spiteful cook as she has witnessed working in the foodservice industry. Someone did not give a darn about serving quality food that night. We spend $30 on a few expensive beers and $20 on food. Bill was over $50 plus tip for a bummer evening. We're giving this place a LONG break.

Not much more to say... it is a dive bar with nice people, pool tables and dart boards. The highlight is their wings... crispy, good size, lots of heat and flavor choices. Second was the burger. A little more cooked than what we asked but very tasty. Good service and you have the whole picture. We were not there to listen to any music which I would have liked... we will be back to take that in and of course more wings.

Traveling back from Virginia and got off the highway to get gas. We were looking for somewhere to eat and did not want fast food, so we followed the signs to this restaurant, on a lark. Burger was perfectly cooked and Chesapeake chicken sandwich was absolutely delicious. House made chips were fresh and crispy. Waitress was very friendly and offered us cups of water for the road. Nice touch.

Food was just ok, Service was slow and the place was not busy at all the two times we were there. They ran out of bottled beer. Drinks that were ordered took more than 20 minutes to arrive at the table. Food is overpriced for sure. A lot better places to go in the area all around.
