Went in with friends just beer and wine. Bread with the meal was soggy not good. I like good bread with my meal. I had a Ruben with fries, not the best I have had. Fried green tomato were ok. I am so sorry to hear that we did not meet your expectations and we appreciate your feedback. We will be looking into this today to narrow down the problem and improve it. This is an unusual comment on the rye bread and I am now wondering if your sandwich was made with the kraut on the bottom causing the bread to be soggy. Hopeful you will come back and try us again. Very busy but clean. We ordered fish. It was good but not the best we've ever had by no means. We stopped here because of ample parking. We were pulling a 30' camper and it was easy to park at this restaurant. The people were friendly but the service was a bit slow. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a good hot meal.

I hadn't eaten here for several years and probably will never eat here again. I tried it again last week with a friend and had the driest hamburger ever in my life. It was supposed to be a half pound burger on a large bun but was more like a 2 inch round meatball on a large bun. I requested no lettuce, tomato or mayo but it was served with mayo anyway. I ended up not eating the bun. My friend ordered bacon, eggs and pancakes and received only 1 small pancake with her order. It was all very disappointing.

The restaurant was very busy when we had dinner on a Friday night. Service was therefore a bit slow, food was slightly above average. Nice decor with a few games to help entertain the kids. We mainly went because of location close to where we were staying, but did enjoy the meal.

Very friendly staff but the Santa Fe chicken and chicken fried steak were dry. The strawberry daiquiri tasted like they forgot the alcohol. The rolls were good. It had been a while since visiting so maybe it was just a bad night for them.

My wife and I, had lunch here last week. Can not say enough about how GREAT the food is. we met the owner, and had a pleasant chat with her. She explained how they make their dishes "flavorful!", but not HOT!! They can kick it up if you like. We had the Boudin Balls for an appetizer. They were SOOOO good!!! My wife had the seafood gumbo and I had the crawfish etoufee!!! Both were EXCELLENT!!!! Plus, they have soda's, made with NO artificial ingredients!!!If you are in the Mountain Home area, and want to have some authentic and delicious Cajun Food, Cooyons is it!!!!!!

...in an otherwise culinary desert. Such solid burgers and fries/onion rings we havenât ever tried any other menu items. After watching the locals interact apparently this is a solid local place. Free popcorn, efficient wait staff and good beer selection(remember where itâs located).

This place is awesome! The ribs were amazing and so lean, fell off the bone. The sauce was the best ever! Tried both HOMEMADE potato salads but loved the mustard one, even though it was more mayo. Baked beans yummy and the homemade blackberry cobbler! Thanks for TripAdvisor or we would never have driven by it.

Iâve had catfish many places but Fredâs was awesome. Wife and I both had the 4 piece meal and it was a ton of food. The fish pieces were good size and the batter was perfect. Fish was cooked just right. We will be back. The only thing I would change is next time I want a table with a lake view.
