Gab and Eat has been around for as long as we can remember. Great place for breakfast anytime, nothing fancy just good old-fashioned breakfast at a reasonable cost. Pretty much the only place we want to go for a cheeseburger. Only open till 2:30, pretty much always a wait, albeit not long usually. Breakfast scramble is legendary.

Easy access location, open seating area with bar, high tables or bench table choices. We stopped on Day 1 and the Pub Chip Shop food truck was on site to satisfy hunger or noshing needs. Yum. Good selection of beers on tap, I was looking for more IPA options, but the Barbarian tasted perfect. Picked up 2 growlers for home after a couple of 'samples'. Definitely plan to stop by again.

Long-running Pittsburgh-born chain known for sandwiches piled high with coleslaw & french fries.
Primanti Brothers (Mt. Lebanon) is our go to place after our Wednesday Night bowling league. Fantastic late night menu specials & 1/2 price on Coors Light. Service is always excellent and they have a great menu. This is also a nice place to watch a Pens game.

When meeting a friend while traveling in Pittsburgh for breakfast she suggested meeting at this restaurant. I wish there had been more parking, as it was cold to walk, but once inside it was warm and cozy.It offers your typical diner fare for breakfast. I got an omelet with toast. They offered bacon and sausage, pancakes, hashbrowns, french toast, crepes, and more for breakfast. They had a lunch menu with sandwiches, salads, wraps, burgers, and more but I didn't look at it too closely as we were there for breakfast. Our server did an ok job, nothing amazing, but sufficient. I did finish my water and it was never refilled. The place was busy and loud, but I still enjoyed my meal with my friend.I loved the decor in the place with an awesome painting on the back wall.

Dined here on a Groupon. Nice wine list with both bottles and glasses available. Service was good and my water glass never got below half full(a benchmark for customer service :). Ingredients were fresh, unique, and creative. Outdoor seating is also available. Parking is free, but can get a little tight when people park against the side of the building. Will definitely be back.

Never a disappointment! Consistent, attentive service, creative, delicious meals served with affordable flair. Between us we raved about the flatbread, beet salad, tacos, ahi tuna, salmon, and scallops. Shared some flourless choc cake with homemade ice cream. We definitely lingered because it was such a good environment for friends to enjoy each other while totally enjoying their meal.

This is a great option for a quick lunch in the South Hills area. Located on Beverly Road in Mt.Lebanon, it is minutes from the Greentree, Scott Township, Dormont and Banksville areas. We enjoyed the Chicken Parmesan Sandwich and the Sweet Baby Ray BBQ Chicken Sandwich...both were quite good...and we were able to get in-and-out for lunch within 45 minutes or so.

It had been probably 15 years since I've been here, but my wife opted to make NYE reservations and it did NOT disappoint. I love the atmosphere of this location as it's basically a house reconfigured to be a restaurant. There was a limited menu for the holiday but it still had many viable options. My wife had crab bisque and crab cake appetizer (which was more than enough portion for dinner) and I had the crab cakes and mini filets. The crabcakes were excellent (my wife loved the dill dip that accompanied hers) and the steak was cooked to perfection.

An American family diner known for its made from scratch hotcakes and French toast as seen on the Food Network's Diners, Drive-ins & Dives. Serving breakfast and lunch during all business hours.
This was my second visit. I just don't see what the hype is about this restaurant. The seating space is very tight and the staff was not very friendly. At all. I was up charged $1 to sub a cheese in an omelette without having been told. When I brought it up to the cashier, who also wasn't very friendly or personable, she simply agreed that the server should've let me known. What I can say that I enjoyed was the home fries - they were super! Not that i think I'll be going back for them though...

Fairly small, nice bar and atmosphere, although on the loud side, Bistrot 19 has a very nice, short menu with very well executed dishes of high quality ingredients. The lamb ragu gnocchi, duck breast, and salmon were very tasty and nice sized portions with seasonal ingredients.Professional, friendly wait staff. Nice selection of wines, but over priced by the bottle. Stick with the glass selections which are limited but a good pour.
