Miller Grille, located behind the Pro Shop is the newest venue at Shenvalee Golf Resort. It's a full-service restaurant with one dining area and one lounge area that opens every day at 7am. Miller Grille may also be used for functions and is great for spo
We stopped for lunch while traveling on 81. When we realized the restaurant is located at the golf course (Shenvalee,) we wondered if we should have stopped but our waitress was very friendly and made it clear many passersby stop & are very welcome. Jalapeno Avocado Burgers & home made coleslaw were both perfect. Great Ice tea. It was fun to watch the golf carts & putters while we ate; we would stop here again.

We stopped here twice to get lunches to bring on hikes. The sandwiches were delicious and filling! Everything was made fresh to order. Highly recommend!

The Steaks at Dan's are more than generous portions. The prices are fair for what you get. The atmosphere is quaint, country and friendly. No padding to the chairs or benches, so be ready. Due to the popularity of the restaurant, the wait staff is frequently overwhelmed. I actually spoke to the waitress at the adjacent table more often than I did my own.

Kathy's is a small, no-frills restaurant. It was fairly full when I arrived for breakfast on Sunday morning, but service was quick and friendly. I ordered the country ham breakfast - half slice or full. I went with the full. The ham was delicious , very tasty and not overly salty. If you like country ham, this ham's for you.

This place is very much off the beaten path but a nice drive through the countryside. It seems more like a "locals" hangout than anything else. It is quirky to say the least. The beers we tried we really enjoyed but the food was less than average. A $7 sausage on a bun and a $13.50 individual pizza and both were just okay at best. Go for a sampling of the interesting beers they have on tap but far better places to eat in the area. If you are just spending the day in the valley not sure it would be high on the list of things to do!Thanks for giving us a try. We could lower the price of our sausages served on a homemade pretzel roll and meat pizzas' if we purchased our meats from an industrial food provider. Since farming is important to us, we partner with a local farmer for all of our meats. We know exactly how the animals were raised and that they were treated humanely. We also believe it is important to make as much of our food from scratch in house and paying our labor a fair wage.

To be honest, there was nothing outstanding about this place, except that everything was done right. From the attentive friendly service to the cooked-just-as-requested steak, everything was spot on. Lady enjoyed the scallops dish with side of rice. The pork belly is more meat than fat [where most places its the other way around]. Nice that you get to pick your two sides. Very pleasant evening.

You never know what you'll get when you're travelling through a place. We stopped for lunch on our way to Nashville, and were pleasantly surprised at Southern Kitchen. The food was good basic comfort food; the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was spot on. I left without getting the server's name, but she was an outstanding 10 on 10/10.

If you like real coffee drinks in a warm and friendly atmosphere, this is the place. Fresh brewed cappuccino foamy and delicious. Pastries and light lunch foods. We didnât eat (other than pastries) but the food looked very good. If it wasnât 450 miles from home we would definitely be regulars!
On the day I visited in late January, Regular Gas cost $1.95 per gallon. WOW. There are many pumps, and the parking lot is spacious. TESLA parking is available for those who want to recharge their car batteries. The bathrooms are sparkling clean, and the inventory is what you would expect to see in a store of this kind. Well, now I know where to fuel up when I am traveling on Interstate 81. The hot, green tea hit the spot on the cold and wintry day.

For more than 65 years Denny's has been bringing people together over great food. It's the place where people can relax and be themselves; where they can enjoy classic American comfort food and everyday value. 24 hours a day. 365 days a year. Here, you ca
Itâs Dennyâs. If youâve been to one, youâve been to most of them. This one is reasonably clean. The menu is typical Dennyâs: Slam Burger (burger cheese, egg, bacon, some kinda sauce: heart attack on a bun; should be served with a side of Lipitor) but it tasted pretty good. Also ordered a fish dinner which was correct except it had a piece of chicken instead of a piece of fish.$30 for such a meal seems a bit pricey.
