With several attractive choices along picturesque historic Main Street, we lucked out with Healthy Garden: In fact, it was hard to choose what to have from its extensive creative menu. Admittedly the plain ambience lacks charm, but who cares when portions of mouthwatering wholesome food, overflowing with fresh ingredients, are so generous that they afford plenty of leftovers to take home & enjoy later?

Had breakfast and dinner here during a recent business trip. Breakfast buffet items were average, but they will make eggs to order, and my egg white omelette was delicious. Dinner was very good. The restaurant is a bit pricey, but they do offer a coupon for 10% off if youâre a guest of the hotel. The service is very good as well.

Tiny 6 table cozy cafe with delicious breakfast. My teenage son said his breakfast sandwich the best heâs ever had. My omelette fresh and amazing- seems like they use farm fresh eggs. All fresh made to order. Great brewed iced tea. Friendly service- definitely worth the wait!

The breakfast menu here goes on and on....I mean there is something for every taste and then some. Portions are more than adequate for the money and the service is "off the hook" so to speak! We have enjoyed Perkins restaurants for years and they never seem to loose touch with what draws the customer in. I have but One negative comment. I see a photo of Southern Fried Chicken on biscuits, smothered in gravy. I order it. But the chicken is not a real breast piece as expected, rather it is 'extruded' style fried chicken out of a box! Like the kind you get at Burger King. I am most disappointed, because the photo resembled this big, juicy, fresh breast of chicken which was not to be. However, moving on, this restaurant is huge, clean as a pin and plays some really great classic tunes in the background while you dine. No one leaves here hungry! No one can possibly dislike the service staff...they're the best! Courteous, well trained, passionate, attentive and respectful. No, I don't have relatives who work here!!! I just call it as I see it. Good food, great prices, great ambiance, super service and good management. They have it all. (except fresh chicken breasts) Check 'em out!

We went to Iron Hill yesterday for a late lunch/snacks/drinks with friends. This is the second time we have had Chris as a server. I cannot say enough as to how amazing he is. He is very knowledgeable about the beers and the food. His recommendations are also always spot on. He is very attentive to his tables, even when it is crowded. I highly recommend the food and beer at Iron Hill and if you go, ask to sit in Chrisâ section for an awesome dining experience.

After having an excellent lunch at Firebirds some months back, we finally made it there for dinner last week. On our first visit, the manager told us how they age their meats in-house. Our server Jennifer was very friendly and explained the menu items and cooking temperatures very well. We enjoyed everything...the jalpeno deviled eggs as an appetizer (took home two of the six halves)....my 12 ounce prime rib was perfectly cooked to medium rare, as was my husband's rib eye steak. We asked for the loaded potato ingredients on the side. Did I mention the delicious horseradish sauce that came with my prime rib? And how about those gigantic potatoes? We brought home most of our potatoes for another meal.We thought cocktail prices were very fair for what we received. A Bulleit Manhattan was $8.50, with a 75 cent premium for the Bulleit. When we mentioned to our server that we were finally having our Valentine's Day dinner, she brought us a complimentary cheesecake dessert.Throughout the dinner, two managers were going through the room, from table to table, checking to make sure that everything was fine. Firebirds is not in the most convenient location for us, but we definitely will be back. I have confidence that my meat will be cooked as ordered, and for what we got and the very nice atmosphere and excellent service, prices were reasonable.

My last review of this place was excellent, but a few months have passed and since then they have a new menu, and my food and kitchen service was very poor. Went there for lunch at 1:00pm on a Sat., there was approx. 8 people dining when we arrived. The waitress was friendly and took our order. We shared an appetizer, and I ordered the Knife & fork egg salad sandwich, it came out with one slice of bread, a table spoon of egg salad and a side salad that amounted to two fork fulls, with a glass of water on the side, it was pathetic to say the least, and it would not have fed a small child. My wife ordered the chicken sandwich with side salad, fries and a glass of ice tea. We waited about 20 mins for our meals, her sandwich came out wrong and had to be sent back, she waited another 12 to15 minutes for her meal to arrive and by then I was done. She was not happen and just took it home. Now the kicker, the bill was over $53.00 While there waiting for our pathetic meals to arrive, I watched a waiter get his food plate from the cook, he wiped sweat from his forehead, then reached up on top the counter stick his hand into a container filled with orange color chips, carrots, etc. grab a handful and put them on top of someone's food then take it to the table to serve, it was disgusting. Sad thing is, we just had a great meal in NY City the day before that cost less and would have fed three people. I cannot believe this restaurant has went down hill so bad in just a few months. We are very sorry about your latest experience with us. Unfortunately, it sounds as though we have quite an "off" day, and that clearly negatively impacted your visit - we sincerely apologize. Is there any way you would be willing to email our General Manager Shaun ([email protected]) so we can get more information from you?We apologize again, and look forward to hearing from you - have a nice day, and thank you for your time. - Melissa ZirolliSocial Media Director
