I grew up in Oklahoma City, and never go back home without making at least one stop at Del Rancho for a chicken fried steak sandwich. My wife orders the steak dinner to have gravy drenched over mashed potatoes andâ¦the amazing steak. Del Rancho is the gold standard for this delectable, if not-so-healthy, American taste treat. And you get to order from your table with a phone! I can truly say I try chicken fried steak almost everywhere I see it on the menu, and no one has ever even come close to Del Rancho. Long live the King!

Established in 1930, Van's pig stand is the oldest single family owned BBQ restaurant in Oklahoma. Serving traditional BBQ items such as the Pig Sandwich® and Ribs as well as other types of sandwiches and delicious sides. Grandma Van invented twice baked
First time in 62 years to eat at a Van's. I last ate at Van's in Norman while attending O.U. We stopped at this location on the way to Norman for an OU basketball game. The food was very good. I tried the ribs both with and without sauce and the flavor without comes through better without sauce. Nothing against the sauce as it was good but I preferred the natural flavor. Baked beans were ok but nothing special. I enjoyed the potato salad and my wife really liked the slaw. Van's has been around since the 1930's. Wish they were in OKC.
The Garage was created when three men sat down one day and wanted to offer the best tasting hamburgers and fresh-cut fries. They started experimenting and came up with what we think is the finest hamburger in town.
Positives: good prices, tasty food, fun atmosphereNegatives: parking, traffic congestionThe Garage in Moore is one of a chain of restaurants that burst onto the burger scene a few years ago. We've eaten at a few of them. Food, service, etc. are pretty consistent, but I think this one may the best of the bunch for a couple of reasons. One of the best things about their menu is the ability to mix-and-match fillings. You can order Angus beef, chicken, bison (extra price) and non-meat options.Burgers are at the core of their menu, but they offer a few other options. On our most recent visit I tried their "knife and fork" chili cheese dog. You really do need a knife and fork to eat it! I'm not a huge fan of chili dogs, but this one was great! The hearty chili was full of flavor without the fiery aftertaste so many chili toppings leave in your mouth. I will definitely order it again.Employees at all locations have always been courteous but they seem just a bit more friendly here. That's one reason I like this store. Another is the dining room. For some reason it seems a little more comfortable to me than the other locations we've tried.I have mixed thoughts about the location. The restaurant sits on the north side of a large strip center at the southeast corner of S 19th and I-35. It's easy to see from 19th Street, but traffic in that area is always abysmal. What's more, driving lanes through the parking lot are strange, with conflicting markings (where marking exist). Assuming you safely make it to the store, you've still got to find a place to put your car.The Bottom Line:Despite this drawback, we like this restaurant, and will return when in the mood for food of the kind they offer. Prices are on the high side of average, but the product is good and the setting is comfortable.

We love Jimmy's Egg. It is a go to place to eat for standard breakfast fare. The service is excellent and the food is on point. After 9:00 on the weekends, plan on waiting in a pretty long line. There is a lot of seating, but there are a lot of people eating here on the weekends.

Open for lunch 6 days a week
First time to eat at this place. I will be coming back - my husband had the italian club sandwich with pasta salad. I had the Mediterranean chicken sandwich and tomato basil soup. We both liked everything we had. The service was excellent and very friendly. I don't know if it was the owner or employee that waited on us but she was very friendly/explained everything to us.

I lived in the area for years, drove by Sunny Side Up often, yet never went in. HUGE mistake on my part. I was in town for business, and chose to finally go here for breakfast with my brother. Itâs clean, friendly, fast, tasty and inexpensive. Do NOT make the mistake I did; eat at Sunny Side Up every chance you can!

This is a locally owned restaurant that is a great place for lunch (the only times Iâve been there). The ambiance is relaxing and clean and the menu is interesting. Their teas and spa water are great. I had the caprese panini and it was deliciousâbread not overly thick. We are happy that you enjoyed yourself and look forward to serving you again soon!

I always order the hook and ladder without onion and mayo- excellent sub! I also like their coca cola freestyle machine- they have an excellent cherry lime/diet cherry lime with fresh limes available. We typically go to the Norman location but recently went to this location at lunch.

With 26 Specialty Pies, an extensive Build-Your-Own-Pizza menu PLUS great Pasta, Craft Beer, and Desserts it is no surprise that Hideaway Pizza has been a family tradition since 1957!
Their pizza is fantastic as is their lemonade pie. My only complaint is that you cannot substitute a small salad as a side when ordering a sandwich. That would have made me much happier as I was at the time not eating fried food nor dairy and the only side offered was fried.

Experience the warm flavors of the Southwest at Hollieâs Flatiron Grill! We like to spice things up by adding the flavors of hatch green chiles and chipotle or jalapeño peppers to traditional favorites.
Four of us ate here based on advice at our hotel. However, it didn't live up to expectations. We arrived about 7 pm on a Thursday and the place had very few customers. There are a lot of booths which we liked. The atmosphere is excellent as you don't feel like this is just another restaurant. Our server Zoe provided excellent service, timely and attentive. The prices are high for what you get, which is only one side with most entrees. I had the smothered chicken and a baked potato. Each was good but somewhat average. The chicken has some cheese and onions on it. The menu has good variety but not a lot of choices.Parking is ample. The noise level was low, The temperature was cold with a draft from the a/c vent.Thank you very much for sharing this with us.
