Minot (/ˈmaɪnɒt/ ( listen) MY-not) is a city in and the county seat of Ward County, North Dakota, United States, in the state's north-central region. It is most widely known for the Air Force base located approximately 15 miles (24 km) north of the city. With a population of 40,888 at the 2010 census, Minot is the fourth largest city in the state and a trading center for a large portion of northern North Dakota, southwestern Manitoba, and southeastern Saskatchewan. Founded in 1886 during the construction of the Great Northern Railway, Minot is also known as "Magic City", commemorating its remarkable growth in size over a short time.

busy place ate here on a Thursday nite four of us visiting minot from regina we all had soup chicken tortilla and 2 had French onion very tasty. main course 2 had bourbon steak one had bourbon chicken and shrimp other had chicken parmagian and it was to much as he couldn't finish it all

Although I've lived in Minot for over 18 years I had never been to Charlie's before. Saturday mine youngest son and I stopped in and gave it a try. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and was not disappointed. So much food I couldn't finish more than about 1/3rd of my serving. So guess what I had for breakfast the next two days. I think my meal was $10.95, not a bad deal at all for 3 breakfasts. I don't know why it took so long to stop in but we'll be back.

When I travel I really enjoy stopping at these little places like this. They typically have very good food and good prices. On top of that the service you receive is just not the same as you would get at a typical chain restaurant. This gives Kroll's the plus! Good food, and very good service. We went around 5 oâclock and were able to park right in front by the entrance. We were greeted by pleasant and friendly staff and were seated in a large booth. Service was timely â from the drinks, taking our orders, bringing the loaf of bread and delivering the food. Except for the bottle of wine (Turning Leaf Merlot) our three orders were under $20 each. There were two orders of 6 oz. sirloin with parmesan chicken, loaded baked potato and Caesar salad plus one order of 6 oz. sirloin with red rock shrimp, broccoli and Caesar salad. A warm crusty loaf of bread was enjoyed while we waited for our meals. Service was attentive, meals were very satisfying with generous servings. No room left for a dessert! We had a relaxing and pleasant evening.

Our appetizers were delivered to wrong table. They did replace one for free. We waited about an hour for main meal. One of the meals was incorrect ( wrong steak and potato). They offered to re-do but by this time we had waited long enough. That meal was taken off the bill. The 2 chicken meals came without the honey mustard sauce. Cream for coffee took quite a while to be delivered. Coffee had cooled considerably by then. We noticed other tables having difficulties too. Would I return. Probably give them another chance. When we walked into the restaurant, it had the feeling of energy and fun. The wait staff was fast, accurate and fun. The menu was broad and the beer selection was good. We were served our entree's quickly and they were large potions. We went back there again on our stay in Minot.

Great Breakfast! I ordered the Triple Play. Tasty eats! Came up quickly after I ordered! I appreciated the attentive server. She got things done this morning!
