Reviews on American food in Milledgeville, Georgia, United States. Milledgeville is a city in and the county seat of Baldwin County in the U.S. state of Georgia. It is northeast of Macon and bordered on the east by the Oconee River. The rapid current of the river here made this an attractive location to build a city. It was the capital of Georgia from 1804 to 1868, notably during the American Civil War. Milledgeville was preceded as the capital city by Louisville and was succeeded by Atlanta, the current capital. Today U.S. Highway 441 connects Milledgeville to Madison, Athens, and Dublin.

After years of not returning to this establishment; we saw ads on TV that said they had great food and it looked like they cleaned up the joint. School is out so there wouldn't be a lot of college kids so we tried it again. What a big flop!!! The Food was terrible(burgers) and the choices were limited to only bar food. Service started with a bang and then disappeared instantly. . .ordered wine that never came. THE BATHROOMS stink and are very dirty!

Our first visit and will definitely return. Service was great and we were asked several time how our dinner was. Shrimp tacos (blackened) were delicious and generous portion. The french onion soup was very tasty. Go give this new restaurant a try.

Great go cart service from the marina. After that it went South. After we were seated, (one hr later) a few people in our party received their food. 45 mins later the rest of our part received our subpar meal. Boo and hiss...the only reason it got a second star was the server was nice! I recommend just go to captain dâs

This restaurant did a really awesome job for our Bicycle Ride Across GA, even offering live music which was excellent. The food and service were great and this was one of the few places staffed to get our order accurate the first time. Would recommend and return.

The atmosphere is great first of all. The staff are friendly, service is fast, and everything I have tried on the menu has been great. The fried pickles are amazing! The spinach and artichoke quesadilla is great too but the only downfall, they charge $5 to add chicken on an already $9 quesadilla. It was great nonetheless but a little pricey. Otherwise, I've enjoyed my experience and will keep going back.

Was promptly greeted when we arrived with a friendly smile. Was seated within 10 mins at prime time on a Friday night. Our server, Sierra was phenomenal. We enjoyed chatting with her about different foods and recommendations. The presentation of the food was a bit lacking and the chili fries appetizer was burnt. It was a busy night, so we didnât say anything. If it werenât for the burnt fries, sierras service would earn this joint at 10. She truly made the experience a great one.

We needed a place with good food, good service, close to home and quick...Pickle Barrel was the answer. I have forgotten the name of the young lady who waited on us but she really did a great job. The food came out quick and was quite good.

I had a delicious breakfast here on a quick stop in Milledgeville! The staff was pleasant and sweet...very attentive...and I loved the "down home" atmosphere. I was dining alone so sat up at the counter with some other folks.Ordered the traditional Eggs Benedict which was delicious and the grits were the creamiest and most delicious I have ever had. Treated myself to a morning mimosa as well! The menu is extensive and has many great options.I'll be back!

This is a bell established Italian restaurant that has been in business a long time. Most of the wait staff are students from the nearby college. The Pizza was very good. Service was fast and staff were friendly, efficient and helpful.

Out adult church group day out took us to Milledgeville. 1st stop, lunch. A couple of group members have played golf here so they recommended that we eat lunch. Extremely good. We had menus before we our trip so we let them know what we wanted to eat before we arrived and that worked out well for everyone. Our group size was 24, good friends and also some new friends. The menu was large with a wide selection. Salads, wraps, sandwiches, soups and more. All meals came fresh, hot and very tasty. We all loved our selections. The chef and manager came out to great us and take us on a tour of the clubhouse. This is a beautiful golf course with a very nice clubhouse and facility. We hope to be able to return. I almost forgot, a wonderful wine list but also, I was driving the church bus so I could only look.
