This is a lovely old building, and there used to be another restaurant here years ago, so we were excited to try it again. We were a group of 6 seated in the bird room (gorgeous, large photographs of herons and egrets) with a special challenge of almost all seniors and one guest with advanced Alzheimer's. Maddy did a super job of taking our orders and keeping us updated on what was happening in the kitchen. There were several things that were not up to par. From the time we were seated to the first bite was almost one hour First of all, why did it take so long for clam chowder? Surely each bowl wasn't made from scratch. Second, the ratio of haddock to bun in the sandwich was disappointing. The fish was okay, but the huge bun was out of proportion. Third, the flatbread used for the eggplant parmigiana was done panini style so that by the time you were ready to eat the second part of your sandwich, it was soggy and needed to be eaten with a fork and knife. Were the truffle fries good? Yes. Maddy suggested them, and she was right. But the rest of the food was ok. Not great, not bad, just ok, which made my very sad. I was hoping to love this place.

A popular local favorite on Norwood's Route 1, One Bistro is both upscale yet affordable. Featuring beautifully lit contemporary decor and open kitchen energy, One Bistro offers original creations with a subtle French flair. From New England seafood and c
This was my fourth visit and most likely the last. The quality and flavor of the food has declined. I ordered a Vegetarian pasta dish that was supposed to have julienne vegetables and a nice pesto sauce with Parmesan cheese. It came with very little flavor. I had to search for the julienne vegetables which consisted of maybe 3 pieces of carrot with a ton of spinach thrown in. Pesto was flavorless and there was no Parmesan cheese at all. One of our guests ordered the Cajun scallop special with absolutely no Cajun flavor. It was a Tuesday night and the restaurant was busy but that is no excuse for the lack of flavor. We sat close to the kitchen and I watched as our waitress played with her hair waiting to pick up food. A cook took off his hat and wiped his brow with his hand then continued to cook with that hand....seriously. While the atmosphere is nice, there are several other choices in the area that have better quality of food for the price.Dear Saint,We are sorry to hear about your recent experience at One Bistro. We apologize that the food and service your received did not live up to the high standards that we set for ourselves. Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention. We take matters like these very seriously and are looking into the situation further. Again, we are sorry about your meal with us and hope that you will join us again soon for a superior dining experience.Sincerely,Management and Staff

I went to Chiara for business dinner over summer. There was 12 of us and they were able to accommodate our group. It was great choice by our host. Food was consistent and excellent. Try the gnocchi - it is no jokey. There is nice place to sit outside if you want. Great atmosphere and service. Solid wine list and they let you taste. Overall excellent place.

This is probably the most fun place in Walpole and the surrounding towns. The food is wonderful and the service is on point. I would recommend Conradâs for couple, friends or groups. The chicken tenders are spectacular and a good starter or as a meal by themselves.
Great service. Pizza is good but inconsistent quality/taste of sauce. Lots of great desserts. Very clean. Great place to eat-in.
Extensive and adventurous menu for breakfast. Several very good hashes -- corned beef, linguine, and a mix. Good omelets. The avocado with boiled egg on toast is excellent! Seniors get coffee free before 10 am. A busy replacement for several other places in this location that have not done so well.

I don't understand why the owner took a perfectly good local restaurant -- Zebra's -- and re-did it with unattractive and brutalist design, most unwelcoming, and implemented a menu with a strange concept. Very little on the menu appeals. The former friendly bar where you could get oysters buck-a-shuck is gone. Townies that used to come often don't seem to be here anymore.

Met our son for lunch. Service was excellent! Started with the steak egg rolls. Delicious and different, deep fried for a twist were delicious! I had the fish tacos, my husband enjoyed the Mayflower and our son chose the chicken pesto sandwich. We all enjoyed our selections and the choices of seasonal beverages. It was a great place to enjoy lunch and to catch up.

Ate here last night with my wife. The food was good. The mussels app was good, but both of us felt the broth was to strong with maybe fennel? She loved the swordfish dinner. I got the caesar salad with grilled chicken which was good. The croutons were made with their peasant bread which is good, but the croutons were not crunchy. Wish they had some domestic bottle beers. All craft beers which a lot of people enjoy, just not me. The service was great. We would go back.

A group of friends got together in one of their favorite saburan restaurants; Basil in Medfield, MA. The restaurant is situated in a mostly residential area a block off of the commercial center. There is plenty of off street parking and the restaurant is a good size and has a bar with dining. The food is American with high end flavors and preparation. Very good portions and the service is friendly and a comfortable, and stylish interior. Patrons had on jeans to current fashions. The prices were average.
