Off of the southern state at exit 57 south, PAINTERS' RESTAURANT, 10,000sq. ft of fun & the avant garde of restaurants. The walls are packed with art from ceiling to floor with the work of local and NYC artists; all for sale. The menu rivals the creativit
5 friends enjoyed our meal after attending show at Patchogue Theatre. The nacho appetiizer is HUGE,! We all agreed on the pulled pork nachos which was an Excellent choice! Marinated skirt steak and lobster quesadillas were both excellent. We were lucky enough to be seated in side room which is s much quieter than the main room which allowed for conversation. Artwork by local artists is always interesting. Our waiter was nice but inattentive. After asking for a 5th place setting and waiting 10. Inutes afer food was served,I got up and took a setting from another table. Had to ask 3x for a glass of water with lemon. Have been here several times and received better service.

Though the restaraunt was crowded, we got seated rather quickly. The service was very friendly. I would definitely visit again.

Good food and big portions. The calamari appetiser was more than sufficient for two people. It was cooked beautifully and the addition of the pieces of pepper worked well. The meatloaf was very meaty with a tasty BBQ sauce that wasn't overpowering. The chicken pot pie was the size if a small fytung pan, which is how it comes served. It was good but lacked some seasoning. We also ordered an extra side - the sprouts with caramalised onion and pancetta. So good!I didn't feel I could give the restaurant 5 stars, however, as the service, whilst friendly and pleasant, wasn't very attentive. We didn't receive our complimentary bread basket, for example and the water glass I was given was broken on the edge along one side and almost cut my mouth.Nevertheless, it was probably just one of things and I doubt any diners will be too disappointed with their meal here.

We met our friends for a late dinner. JCâs Restaurant is attached for dining as well. The portions and food quality were outstanding. Definitely the place to dine in Mastic and nearby.
The falafel gyro is delicious! Nazâs has the Best white sauce in town and they are generous! Food is fresh and yummy.

My first visit to the Moriches Bay Diner was in 2016 and I was impressed with what I had for supper. But my stay in the area was brief so I had but one meal there. This time I was in town for a week at the beach and I went back to the Moriches Bay Diner four times! In my opinion, they have the finest, tastiest Manhattan clam chowder on Long Island. Sure, I am biased and I have not eaten at every restaurant that serves Manhattan chowder but I know what I like and I like the bowl of chowder that I get at the Moriches Bay Diner. They not only excel at the usual diner fare like breakfast dishes and burgers, they do what they call "sautees," dishes that take a little time but so far are worth the wait. I had the Greek pasta with chicken saute and not only was the chicken succulent and nowhere near dry as chicken breast can sometimes be, this dish was so tasty that it did not need any salt or pepper, just me to enjoy it! I finished that meal with coffee and carrot cake that I believe was made on-premises.The service has always been beyond reproach and the diner is spotlessly clean. Yes, it is always a busy place. And I recomment it highly.

The beach hut is located on the boardwalk of Smithpoint beach. You can get anything from burgers to lobster. Specials are available. Great for adults and kids and the price is good. I love the fish and chips, better than any restaurant I have been too. This became my Wednesday night special, along with friends and music, salt air and sunsets
The William Floyd Diner had a little of everything soups, salads, sandwichâs and steak and pork chops. We had great service and everyone in our group was happy with their dinner experience. Excellent pork chops, NJ steak sandwich and French dip were excellent choices.

If you like Heros, hoggies whatever you like to call it, this place has the best of the best heros. Anything you want, they will make. They have a special everyday, buy one get one before 3 i think. The owner and staff are the great people. It does take time to make, be patient, everything is done fresh and will be worth the wait
